Lake house vacation rentals in Loch Lomond

Absolutely beautiful stay in Dalavich. The views from the dining room and hot tub were next level. George was extremely helpful with all recommendations and there is a helpful manual in the property on things to do around. Having a car is vital and make sure to do a shop before getting to the property but the village shop allowed us to pick up some bits we ran out of which was a bonus. Could not recommend more and will definitely be back!

The property was exactly as described and surpassed our expectations. It was easy to find, the directions are spot on and Rose was very easy to communicate with. Early access was granted which was amazing. Every amenity listed was available and there was a lovely welcome tray with tea, coffee and biscuits waiting for us. We would love to book again, we loved the place. Thank you!

Mel’s place is nothing short of incredible. From the minute we booked to the minute we left Mel was friendly, accommodating and helpful. The welcome hamper was perfect for us and very generous. The place itself is idyllic. It feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere but yet you have everything you want and need on your doorstep. The house is clean, well equipped, comfortable, warm (we stayed in February!) and has lots of high quality features. The view over the loch is incredible and changes everytime you look at it which only made the whole trip even better. We managed a boat trip with Cruise Loch Lomond on Mel’s recommendation and a walk up to the hydroelectric station again, on Mel’s recommendation. Both amazing experiences. I would recommend a stop at the farm shop in Luss for some square sausage and rolls for breakfast. Thanks Mel 🙂 Lou, Darius and the kids.

A beautifully renovated cottage. We loved the kitchen/lounge room, especially the window seat overlooking the loch. Sensible stone flooring (but not cold) for the dog. Bunk beds were comfortable and spacious for my 25 yr old daughter and her best friend. Large well fenced garden great for dog. We 4 adults also enjoyed the children's swing ! Shower was amazing, fantastic water pressure. In all a very comfortable, clean and well equipped cottage. A beautiful place for a holiday.

An incredibly beautiful location with amazing views down Loch Rannoch. The house itself is lovely. The kitchen is big and well equipped, and the dining area spacious. The two big fridges and freezers meant that you can stock up properly and avoid the shops. The living room, with wood burning stove, is super cosy. All the bedrooms are well appointed (the beds are very comfortable), and having two en suite bathrooms is great. The hotel is a really easy walk and the Wild Brownie pub has lovely food and very friendly staff. The delivery from Tescos worked exceptionally well too. The location is spectacular with lovely walks and exquisite drives. The drive to Aberfeldy is particularly magnificent (although icy currently). We had the happiest time over New Year with plenty of space to chill and play games and cook as a family. We are all keen to return.

Great location just outside of Fort William. Stunning views of the mountains from the property. Very clean and comfortable would highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay in Jason and Mari’s beautiful cottage. The views are outstanding and the location and proximity to the seafront were perfect. The rooms were very comfortable, with excellent bedding and the kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed. There were some lovely complimentary items included which were very much appreciated. We will definitely return next time we come to Fairlie.

we had a lovely get-away in Nicola's lodge - perfect place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Killin is just along the road and a great place to start various walks or cycles. thank you!

A lovely cottage with beautiful views across the loch. The cottage had a lovely garden and decking, the kitchen was well catered and the beds were comfy. The folder provided had very clear and concise instructions and we felt able to use the cottage easily, including the central heating system (which isn’t always the case in different properties). Hosts were quick to respond to messages. Would definitely recommend and would look at their portfolio of properties in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place is so peaceful and the surrounding area breathtaking. The house itself is superb and well equipped to service a large number with several bedrooms and several bathroom with a well equipped kitchen. Our only issue was trying to locate the house on arrival but it’s worth the journey

Joanne's cottage was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, the little touches made it homely; board games, lots of leaflets to tell us what was around, plenty of utensils in the kitchen and great wifi (two teenage sons!!). The conservatory room gave ample space to dine with stunning views of the Loch. It also leads out to a large garden with lots of cute bunnies who were grazing and hopping around. The location was absolutely stunning; we bravely took a dip in Loch Linnhe and marvelled at the ever changing dramatic landscape. Both Joanne and Adrian were fabulous hosts, local and on hand when we needed them. We will definitely return to Scotland and wouldn't hesitate to return to No 1 Ardrhu cottage. Highly recommended!

Our family with teenagers very much enjoyed the stay. The house was clean and well equipped, making it comfortable and a relaxing escape from city life. There are lots of outdoor activities available and sports by the water, which keeps teens occupied. Billy was helpful, good instructions and responsive which is always a plus!

This is an extremely well-presented modern property in a great position very near to Kenmore and some nice restaurants. The only slight oddity is that the owner controls the heating externally via an App which some people might not like. The manager was very responsive and sorted out an initial problem with the heating and we were told to contact her if we were not warm enough. The view over Loch Tay from the upstairs living room is over the houses in front but is still a lovely view. We would definitely recommend this property to friends.

Gorgeous place. Peaceful, beautiful, stunning location. Amazing views of the loch and hills from the lounge. So cosy with the wood burner on. Lots to do in the surrounding area - we walked in the ancient Caledonian black wood of Rannoch, hiked across Rannoch Moor “the last Scottish wildernesses”, and cycled round the loch. The tea room at Rannoch Train Station is wonderful with great views and delicious food and drink – we loved the hot toddy. Host was very responsive and helpful with questions we had. Highly recommend this AirBnB. Hope to visit again.

We really enjoyed our relaxing getaway - very peaceful with beautiful surroundings! The guest house was well furnished and had a well equipped kitchen. The recommendations were excellent (both local and into Oban).

We had a lovely stay at this amazing house in a beautiful location. The house is huge. with lots of rooms to do different things. The hosts were happy to respond to the odd queries we had along the way, and I would be confident had anything gone really wrong they would have fixed it cheerfully. If we ever had a similar special occasion to treat ourselves in the future we would definitely consider staying again.

What a fabulous barn conversion - clearly built with imagination, skill and much love. We felt very comfortable in this warm and spacious home from home. We were made to feel very welcome and given some excellent advice on the local area by our expert host - thank you.

We were only there for a night as a stop over while travelling, but this lodge is great. Nice open plan living, diner kitchen with great views of the loch!

We have had a wonderful week at Slievemore. This beautiful place exceeded our expectations and was the perfect base for a family Christmas. Ross and Rachel had decorated it tastefully so that it was super festive and cosy. There was even snow on the hills and plenty in the mountains when we arrived. We would highly recommend it to other travellers and hope we can return one day soon.

We just spent the weekend here with 2 friends and our 2 dogs. Firstly the house is exactly as described, it completely met our expectations. The location and surroundings exceeded our expectations. It is simply stunning. It’s the most perfect place to relax and enjoy the quiet. We were lucky enough to have clear sky's at night and we got the most spectacular display of shooting stars while sitting in the giant hot tub! I have never experienced anything quite like it. The garden is huge and well kept, the dogs loved the space while it being secure for them. I highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful accommodation, the property was spotlessly clean and very well stocked, we were there for a 60th birthday surprise few days away for my husband and were delighted with the effort gone to by the host to make our stay extra special. Stunning location no matter what the weather. Our only complaint was that we were only there for 2 nights! Would highly recommend this property, we hope to return and would definitely stay for longer next time.
