This was perfect for our large group. We didn't want for anything. So many options with a view of the beautiful lake (pool and hot tub area, fire pit, large porch with the option to have windows opened or closed). Plenty of space to spread out or all gather together. No complaints here and would definitely rent again.

Stephanie’s house was very spacious and clean. She was very responsive to my questions and answered promptly. The house was in a beautiful peaceful neighborhood and close to a lot of restaurants and shopping. Only 10 min drive to Lexington and close to many distilleries. Only thing I would say is if you are staying for an extended time and plan on eating in, there is not a lot of dishes or food prep stuff. Didn’t matter to us because we only stayed 2 days and ate out each night.

Great family gathering spot! Our extended family (four generations including 8 adults and 2 children) returned to Joy’s place (our second stay) for Thanksgiving weekend. It was a perfect place for us to meet. The large kitchen/family room area allowed us to be all together comfortably, a huge plus. But when the hubbub got to be too much, the house had plenty of other spaces where people could hangout or relax with a book. Joy is a super host - very friendly, clear instructions, and accommodating. Definitely recommend.

William’s home was the perfect vacation spot! Quiet and peaceful! We spent most of our time in the pool or sitting outside with our dogs. With the fenced in yard, it made it so easy to have them out there with us. William was extremely responsive to any questions we had. House was very clean and very welcoming! We hope to be back sometime soon!

This house did not disappoint! Went for a family reunion with extended family ages 8-80! Something for everyone to enjoy. The great room was perfect for our large gathering with plenty of space for games, kids and visiting. Kitchen was perfect for our needs (some repair issues Clay is addressing did not overly affect our stay - he’s super responsive and helpful!). Table for 8 plus counter height seating for another 6 or so in the kitchen itself. Tons of bedrooms offer privacy and comfort for everyone. 2 showers on main floor, one in basement and one on 2nd floor. Basement is teenager heaven! Poor, shuffleboard, Nintendo and air hockey as well as a bar area with another refrigerator which was awesome for drinks. Hot tub outside on the porch was great. I think our favorite was the deck outside the great room had lots of seating so we could enjoy the unseasonable 60 degree weather! Never got a chance to use the fire pit looked awesome. Highly recommend - we will definitely be back!

Place is amazing! Felt like home, once we left we started to miss it. Extremely spacious, amenities were amazing. Would recommend to anyone who wants to visit Somerset!

We stayed at this beautiful condo while we were in town looking at real estate. WOW, what great spot on the lake. The view was fantastic. The sheets smell fantastic too! I would recommend staying here for sure. Everything you need and more. What are you waiting for, book this one today!

The cottage was exactly as described and felt cozy and comfortable as if we were at home. The surroundings were clean, beautiful and peaceful. Will definitely be staying here again at some point.

We had an amazing time at this home! It was perfect and spacious for the 7 adults and 3 children we had. Brenton and Brittany really thought through every detail! It was so easy to communicate with the hosts and they were very responsive. We got unlucky with the weather, but thankfully the house has so much to offer we were able to make the best of the rain! THANK YOU! We loved our stay and hope to come back again in the future!

Our stay was pleasant. We wanted to stay in the downtown area so we could walk to family members. It was our second time staying at this location and we were happy with it.

Freddie and his wife Sally were lovely, kind hosts. We had a long term stay of two months and they were always only a message away if we needed anything. Our stay was during the colder Winter months and his wife brought extra blankets, toilet paper and anything we may need in the event we were snowed in. Freddie even made a special trip out to retrieve a ball my daughters lost out past the cow fence haha. Very lovely ranch and we were very privileged to have the opportunity to stay in their home. My daughters were overjoyed seeing the cows in the pasture. Beautiful sunsets and a lovely property to let your kids run and play in the country. Thank you Freddie and Sally!

We had a lovely stay at Alison’s cottage in Berea. We enjoyed the walkability and the options for food and artisan shops in the area. The house was very, very cute and cozy. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes for drinks and cooking. We ate out most of the time but enjoyed coffee in the morning. Small detail but there were ice cubes ready for us when we prepared our drinks in the evening. We had forgotten to buy ice and were happy that small detail was ready. My favorite part of the house is the little office/sunroom area. I had my coffee there in the morning and watched the rain. Great location and great communication. Will stay in the future when we come to Berea.

We had a great time and it was perfect sized for me and my daughter. Enough room to separate but still feel cozy.

There are four of us in our friend group that turn 30 a couples months apart so we decided to get everyone together for a cabin weekend to celebrate and this place was perfect! It was spacious enough for everyone, which included kids running around. A favorite part for us was that after we put the kids down upstairs, everyone could still hangout downstairs and not worry too much about sound. Overall, it was a great stay! One thing that I think that's helpful to know is to bring your own shampoo/conditioner/body wash if you care about that! They do provide some, but it's similar to the hotel kind!

I'm working out of town in the area, wanted something better then a hotel, and I found this. she was extremely helpful and flexible. I highly recommend this home to anyone for whatever your reason may be for being in the area. Was very clean you can smell it as soon as you walk in the door, and a great pizza place is right down the street. I'm sure I'll be back again soon.

This is a beautifully decorated….so comfortable and in a good location for a visit w my granddaughter at EKU. The host left a note to help yourself to the breakfast sandwiches and drinks in the frig. Plenty of kitchen equipment. I will definitely be back!! PS. Great beds!

The house was perfect for our family reunion, and Teresea and Tim are incredibly kind and helpful hosts. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to fix all our meals, the living area has comfortable furniture for a crowd to hang out together, and it was great to have so many main floor bedrooms with their own bathroom. We loved sitting out on the deck, and the view of the lake was even better than I'd expected from the photos. We highly recommend it and hope to return again next year ourselves!

The house was just as beautiful as the pictures! We had a family gathering to celebrate Christmas and it accommodated everyone very comfortably. My family and I really enjoyed all the amenities especially the hot tub and the theater room. The kitchen was very well stocked with cooking and baking pots, pans and utensils. The bedrooms were extremely roomy, and the master has a beautiful view of the Dix river. The drive to the house was a little tricky in the snow but the GPS gave very accurate directions. Amanda was super responsive and would return messages within minutes. Definitely plan to come back when the weather is nicer.

Shelby is extremely gracious and the epitome of super host! Well stocked kitchen, super clean and expansive rooms with lots of thoughtful touches. Love the huge master bed and bath! Great yard for pups and Shelby is very responsive and attentive. This is the ONLY place we’ll stay at when in the area. Love, love, love this location!

We had a great stay at Jamie’s airbnb. My family came all the way from Italy for my wedding and everyone was super happy with the house. Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable and it was overall a nice and easy stay. Jamie was very available if needed. Thank you again!

My husband and I and another couple stayed at The Blue Heron for a long weekend, hoping to get some golf in. Shelly was helpful prior to our arrival with grocery and dinner suggestions. We were able to find the place with no problems and had easy access to get in. Very quiet location. Did not see anyone the entire stay. The main house was the perfect size for 4 people. Living room/kitchen provided enough space for us all to be together. The deck would have be great space with the fire pit and outdoor seating. We just happened to come during a 4 day nonstop rain. Which did make for great sleeping. The boathouse provided space for the couple we came with. It had a queen bed, small sitting area bathroom and a great view. The main house had a great loft for the other bedroom. The bed and pillows were amazing. Although we did not get one round of golf in, we did find fun things to do in Lexington. It was very relaxing and we look forward to coming back when the weather is better/warmer.
