Denis is very responsive and communicates easily. The house is much bigger in real life than in photo. The accommodation is well renovated, comfortable, board games, well-equipped, raclette, fondue type cooking appliances. Everything is there to have a pleasant time. The bedding is impeccable, the towels and sheets smell clean. It's deadlocked, it's peaceful. For your reference: The balneo does not work, renovation of the bathroom is in the works. It will nevertheless take the car to get to the center of the village about 1.5km and little practicable on foot. Only one car can park glued to the accommodation, in case of a 2nd car it will be on the bottom side at 50m. Have a small speaker if you want to play music.

Quiet, very good welcome and very clean house. An exotic stay!

I am used to staying in Airbnp in France and Switzerland and I was usually satisfied but now I have to say that this one is really exceptional! We were a group of 8 and all really enjoyed it. It is a modern, warm, friendly and soothing place and everything is perfectly clean. The services are very high standard, the trendy decor is sober and refined, everything is neat and meticulously thought out, each room is spacious; the bedding is very comfortable; the high-end technical equipment in each room. The large glass window of the living room offers a beautiful view of a large lot with beautiful trees with a large terrace arranged on one level. The host's welcome was extremely warm as well as all the exchanges we had.! Really the BEST of the BEST!

Gite Rouge was a lovely home for us in very rural area of France….it was cosy and comfortable. A car is needed for restaurants etc as there is not much very close by. Thanks for having us

We chose Janine and Mario’s cottage for our 4 week stay as we didn’t know the area and thought we’d like to try Limousin. We chose Janailhac only because it has a depot de pain and a small bar restaurant (both very welcoming)! In reality it far exceeded our hopes. Janine and Mario are great, friendly, kind and supportive hosts who are determined to give their visitors the best possible stay. They provided lots of helpful information about the many interesting and historic villages and restaurants and markets largely within a 25 mile radius so plenty of places to visit. Janailhac is a tiny, pretty, friendly farming village of beautiful rolling fields (and a SuperU at 4 miles). Quiet nights and clean air meant we slept better than in years. The cottage is large and comfortable with a pellet boiler heating system so we were never chilly plus a large open fire place and 2 great hot showers. Well stocked for children with toys, high chair, cot and even a buggy. Highly recommended!

Great house for 2 families, perfect for what we wanted. Lots of seating areas, kitchen was really well equipped. Pool and hot tub awesome. Nearby lake is good for beach and water sports. Hosts were great and gave good recommendation for a food festival in a nearby town. The house is in a very peaceful location, surrounded by countryside, which was great most of the time but if you want restaurants or activities it’s a drive. I would recommend the house though as it’s really well set up for a week with friends or family.

We spent a lovely weekend in this beautiful cabin which is in a relaxing and very pretty setting. A great place to relax and recharge. Welcoming host who takes the time to advise and remains available A little in love with the possibility of fishing beautiful specimens of carp. Highly recommend 😊

Beautiful home in a wooded quiet area. Beautiful enclosed garden. Our dog really enjoyed it here and so did we! Louise is very sweet to animals and friendly and hospitable to people. Upon arrival there were snacks for our dog and a surprise for us! Top location!

Very welcoming and well-equipped bungalow, in a quiet setting. Responsive and kind host through our interactions. Only downside, walks are limited because the allants tour are privatized. However, 10 minutes away by car, we find very pleasant places. It noted the presence of a pizza truck on the road to the Cussac intermarket every Thursday, which I recommend.

Sorry for the delay in completing this..just got back home. From start to finish, this was a comfortable and relaxed place to stay. Our hosts were excellent and always on hand without being at all intrusive…friendly, informative and with great communication. The house was just right for us, with the garden being a real bonus for the dogs and us! We felt welcome and looked after. Thanks for everything, I would highly commend this accommodation to anybody!

Rachel had lit the stove for our arrival. All you had to do was add a wood. The next day, all the farm animals were out: chickens, ducks, llamas, goats ... We were able to give them bread. The kids were very happy. Rachel is very friendly and smiling. Happy hosting.
