Chalet vacation rentals in Les Saisies, Hauteluce

Overall: Came for a winter skiing week with 3 adults and 2 children. Everyone was very satisfied with this very nice chalet -- but prepare yourself for some low ceilings. Pros: Larger than we were expecting. Split toilet and shower helps with larger group. Lots of places to dry your wet items. Area outside for kids to play in snow with toys and sled(ge)s available. Sheltered picnic table just outside the front door. Able to borrow a variety of cooking equipment for making local delicacies. Extremely helpful host. Beautiful interior and exterior. Cons: You WILL bump your head on the large ceiling joist over the beds in the 3-bed room. No matter how much you think you have learned where it is, you haven't. On the last day while packing achieved concussion level impact with this joist, despite a week of experience. Other low areas such as over stairs could be an issue for a taller person. Garage has limited space for accessing vehicle and we parked only half into the garage.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Chalet Cosmos from March 1st to March 8th, 2025. Our group of five adults and three children (ages 2.5, 13, and 14) felt completely at home. The chalet is just as beautiful as in the photos—spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The stunning view of Mont Blanc from the window made every morning special, especially while enjoying a warm cup of tea or coffee. The house is very warm and cozy, with comfortable rooms for everyone. The fully equipped kitchen had more than enough glasses, plates, and utensils, making meal preparation effortless. We also really appreciated the selection of board games, which provided great entertainment after a long day on the slopes. The location is perfect for exploring the four ski resorts in the Chamonix area, and we were able to visit them all. The chalet was an ideal base for our adventures.

We had a great time at Amandine's . The cottage is cozy, peaceful, the hosts live above the accommodation and it is very appreciated. They are available , give us help, and pick us up when the road is impassable. Amandine recommended a very nice hike. We were able to enjoy the hot tub which is a real plus . Very nice week stay in Michel's chalet, close to the Domaine du Grand Massif in 10 min, either by shuttle or by car with ample parking available (but paying without being excessive since this year), and a few hundred meters from the beginner Sixt slopes, perfect for introducing children. Regarding the chalet, everything is done by Michel for your comfort and welcome, the chalet is ideal for a family with 2 children who can have their own spaces in separate bedrooms. No wifi, no TV, but DVDs, games and reading for everyone, allow us to have a warm time. Don't hesitate to put your bags there, Go!

Pauline’s chalet is as per the description, cozy, clean, great views and perfect for a family of four. It has all amenities you may need. Is 5 min drive to Les Houches and 10 min to Chamonix. The host was very responsive. We had fantastic time and I would recommend it.

We spent a week with my family in Yannick’s chalet and we absolutely loved it. The cozy look from the outside to the details in the inside made us feel right at home from the start. The place is very close to all the major ski stations and there were many nice hikes in the area. Yannick was super responsive and I would recommend his home to everyone.

We were in a group of 8 people for a weekend with friends, Catherine was very kind and always attentive to our needs. We made it easy to check in to the cottage before time to drop off our belongings. Very nice of him. No doubt we'll be back someday. Everything is nearby, very well located. Great! Thanks Catherine!

Great chalet for a large family in a super location if you like to ski in Argentiere. The chalet had all amenities as described and was clean and cosy. The sauna outside was a massive plus. The only small drawback was the kitchen is somewhat dated.

A beautiful location with stunning views! Plenty of room for our family of 8 to stay for a few days. Only a 15 min drive to downtown Annecy and the lake. The hosts were very responsive, timely, and helpful!

We had a wonderful stay at Warrens. He greeted us with a selection of local meats, cheeses and wines. He was so very responsive and flexible with check in and check out. The place is perfect for some time a way with a group of friends- couldn’t recommend highly enough

Beautiful stay in Delphine's chalet. Excellent communication and availability to meet all of our expectations. Very comfortable, great view, easy to access and 5" from the Princess's gondola. Ideal for families with children. We highly recommend it.

Jon’s place was beautiful — great views and all of us were very comfortable. The sweet town of Argentière was very walkable, which was super nice as well. I believe it may actually be a ski in/ski out if there was more snow snow once you get to the trails, but we found ourselves walking about 20 minutes to the closest lift. We didn’t get the catered package, which is what they prefer and encourage. We did have a bespoke meal from one of their chefs which was absolutely delicious and would recommend. I loved waking up with I our amazing view of Grand Montet and felt like the chalet was a very special find. Many thanks Jon and team!

By splitting the costs and visiting offseason it‘s a really good deal and the host was super friendly! Feedback was immediately received and the house has amazing views and the rooms are clean and as described.

The chalet is very pleasant and large enough for 15 people. Balcony, terrace, tables are suitable as kitchen, dishes, etc.

Thank you for this little cottage in the middle of the mountains and facing Mont Blanc! We recommend this cottage, however we recommend it for two people to be really comfortable! Otherwise it's perfect we'll be back with pleasure! Thank you

Very good stay in a small Savoyard mazot, very peaceful and beautiful environment with a magnificent view, beautiful walks nearby. Everything you need for 2 people, with small balcony and table in the garden. We recommend!

Excellent host, always responsive. The apartment with no neighbors around is very well equipped, two shower rooms, one in each floor. Allows privacy if two couples come. Ski in - we did not find the access back to the apartment in ski out. Needed snow chains to get out of the condo on snowy days. Great cabin. Hope I get to get back to it.

We had an absolutely incredible stay at this chalet in Tignes. The location is unbeatable, with breathtaking mountain and lake views and easy access to everything you need. The property itself is beautiful: spacious, impeccably clean, and equipped with everything you could want for a comfortable stay. Also the kitchen is equipped for 17 people. One minor note for future guests: we noticed that the local foxes were quite active and managed to break into the trash bags we left outside, causing a bit of a mess. This wasn’t an issue with the property or the hosts at all, just something to keep in mind and perhaps secure the trash more tightly or store it indoors until collection day. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this chalet to anyone visiting Tignes. Thank you to the wonderful hosts for such a memorable stay!

We stayed at this incredible chalet in Courchevel Le Praz for the season opening and had an amazing time reconnecting as a family of adults. The location is unbeatable – truly ski-in and ski-out, and just steps from the gondola, which runs until midnight and takes you effortlessly into Courchevel 1850. The chalet itself is a masterpiece of design, with a chess-inspired theme throughout its decor and art. Every detail has been thoughtfully curated, creating a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere that made our stay extra special. The highlight of our experience was the exceptional service. Krisy, the house gouvernante, is a modern-day Mary Poppins. She kept the chalet pristine and visited every morning to prepare delicious breakfasts. Her care and attention added so much warmth to our stay. This chalet was the perfect backdrop for our family get-together, combining luxury, comfort, and an unbeatable location. We can't wait to return and create more memories. Highly recommended!

For a long time we had wanted to discover Combloux, we had to find the accommodation that would suit us and we found a pearl of accommodation. Clean, functional, ideally placed to have tranquility but also the ease via the shuttle to the slopes. Jérôme and Laetitia were very pleasant, available when we had questions and we were also hosted very well by Yoda who often came to say hello to us for our greatest pleasure. We'll definitely be back.
