This apartment has the wow factor. It was luxurious, well appointed and warm. The sea views were amazing and it was great to be able to access the wonderful beach from the balcony and listen to the waves in bed. My husband had told Susan we were celebrating an anniversary and she left wine and chocolates for us, which was a lovely touch. It was easy to walk into the centre, or you could catch a bus from the stop nearby. We highly recommend this beautiful property.

Great stay in Anne's cute house! Beautiful views of the port of Barfleur from the living room and bedroom! A cute little room for the kids. Everything is designed to make you feel good and impeccably clean. Thank you for the good bottle of cider upon arrival. A little extra: the good creperie that is right next to the house. Beautiful and cozy place to stay. Isabelle was great and responded to all questions immediately. Everything in town is just a few steps away and the other historically interesting destinations in the area (Utah beach, Omaha, etc) are easy to reach by car.

We had a great time in this beautiful apartment decorated with many knickknacks. The apartment is very well located in Portbail and Philippe is a very responsive host. I will come back without hesitation, the area must be even more beautiful under the sun, I highly recommend it!

I would definitely recommend the Beach House in Le Hocq, Jersey. It is ideally situated, right next to a welcoming pub with restaurant, next to the beach and close to the bus stop. There are buses to St. Helier and Gorey (in the opposite direction) every 15 minutes. St. Helier is only about 2 miles away and the airport is only about 7 ½ miles away. The Beach House is just lovely. It was clear that Irene has made every effort to make the villa as comfortable as possible. It is bright and spacious, very comfortable and has all the facilities needed, including dishwasher & washing machine. It is also very peaceful. The living, kitchen and dining areas are all spacious, clean and welcoming as are the bedroom and bathroom. The bedroom windows look out on to the sea which is a nice view. Irene is an excellent host. Both Irene and her husband are very friendly. Irene quickly answered all my questions, was very helpful with advice and was very keen to make sure we had a lovely holiday.

Absolutely stunning townhouse - extremely well laid-out with the comfiest beds. We all remarked how well we slept. We also appreciated the big TV with access to all streaming platforms as we travelled in Feb with a child and sometimes we just wanted to cosy up in the evening after a long day out/dinner (the heating boost that comes on in the evenings also meant the flat was lovely and toasty when you’re back in at the end of the day) Bus stop right outside to pick up the No2 to St Helier - although more often than not we walked which was perfectly doable if the hourly winter timetable didn’t suit and you can cut out some of the road through Howard Davis park. Very helpful host - I always think Airbnb owners who are renting their own home are extra invested which means for a very premium stay - and we were happy to follow the small number of rules and to leave a 5 star review which obviously means a lot (quite rightly) to the owners for their beautiful home.

An 18th century farmhouse, beautifully located in the valley of a stream. 10 minutes walk to beach and amenities. Very friendly and helpful hostess and hostess. Spacious home with all amenities. Beautiful hiking opportunities (coastal path). Absolutely recommended!

We had a great time at Paul's place! The accommodation is clean, comfortable and as described or even better! Also very well located, close to the root port, Jobourg nose, Auderville and its port... etc. If we come back to the area we will not hesitate to stay with Paul!

Apartment decorated with taste! It is functional, clean and very well distributed. An apartment that we would like to keep a secret so we can book it every time we come to Normandy.

What a find! Booked last minute, due to a change in circumstances - feel so lucky to have found this gem! Everything was perfect. V comfy bed. A perfect base to explore from. Red squirrels Cockerells, and beautiful grounds. Rebeka was warm and welcoming despite being busy with arranging a celebration. I hope we can come back before too long, to Jersey, and to L'Ecluse.
