Véronique's place is spacious and decorated with taste. The indoor and outdoor kitchen invites you to prepare good dishes thanks to the utensils available. The wooded garden adjoins the house and makes young and old happy. We were delighted with this rental, to be recommended.

Great welcome by Romain and Elise who are very responsive and attentive to the expressed needs. Beautiful heated pool and very nice garden. We had a lovely stay. However, pay attention to the interior staircase which can be dangerous for the little adventurous.

We had a great time at Arnaud's place. The apartment is superb and very well-equipped, the glass window on the wooded environment is a real joy. The area is very quiet and very pretty, St Nicolas Park right next door is beautiful. Arnaud is a very welcoming and friendly host. I recommend++

Sylvie and her family and the puppy, made us feel like friends. The garden was very secure for our dog, lots of lovely places to sit. A good walk for us could be found four minutes walk up the (quiet) road where there was a cycle path that took us into the town with its many amenities, including a lovely little bar and restaurant. Would certainly visit again. Sylvie was specially helpful with any request we made and even telephoned her vet to arrange the necessary paperwork for travelling back to UK with a dog. SO kind, .

We only spent 2 days in this lovely house but it must be nice to spend more time there. The cottage is quiet, spacious and very well equipped. The enclosed grounds allowed us to leave our dog outside without any hassle. Guylaine received us very kindly and the bottle of wine offered was much appreciated. In short, a great place!

Vincent’s place was charming, peaceful and perfect for our stay. In the center of Chinon below the castle. A great find! Vincent and Natalie were always responsive and very helpful! They gave us great recommendations, specifically the Les Anness 30 Restaurant. We would love to stay here againin. Thank you!!

What an incredibly magical home with gorgeous gardens. An absolutely perfect setting for rest, relaxation, and cooking in the well-appointed kitchen. Michel was super kind, welcoming, and responsive. Best place ever!

Our stay went perfectly well. Our 11-year-old kids (and ourselves) loved the place, especially the outdoor structures with a very large pool in which they crazily had fun. The place is very friendly, our hosts were very nice and hospitable. Beautiful environment, the village is very friendly, for lovers of tranquility and authenticity. Had a wonderful stay at this chateau. Reception went very smoothly and they were always ready for us whenever we had any questions. They have also recommended us other vineyards nearby and arranged the winetastings for us. Cottage was very nice and tidy. Nothing to complain about. Very much use was made of the beautiful large swimming pool with barbecue in the adjoining pool house. There were few other guests on the property so we almost had it to ourselves. Winetasting was also very nice and educational. We were welcomed as a bottle of wine but have bought a drink during the barbecue by the pool at the pool. The highlight of the entire chateau was the sweet affectionate cat who liked to stay in our cottage. 😁

Host of very good advice, available and attentive. He's passionate and exciting. The place is as described, unique with lots of charm. The added bonus of the indoor pool. Very good location in the heart of Saumur.

Daniel was a great host. We will come back to enjoy the calm, the view of the vineyards, in very well maintained stone buildings and with equipment adapted to our needs (swimming pool, table tennis table, table football, barbecue, terrace,..): perfect weekend

We spent a lovely few days at Catherines place with our son his wife and our baby granddaughter. The cottage was spacious, comfortable and very well equipped with everything you might need. The beds were extremely comfortable and having two bathrooms was really useful. The showers were great with loads of hot water. We loved the pool and garden area too which was so pretty with plenty of seating and a great BBQ. The local village is walkable but there's not much there. Brissac Quince is around a 10 minute drive with great shops. A lovely baker, butcher and cheese shop. Plus a market selling local produce on a Thursday morning. It was excellent. There's also a massive supermarket and lots of places to sample the local wines. Catherine was a very helpful host. She always responded to any questions and gave us good local information. We had a great time and would highly recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful, relaxing break in beautiful surroundings.
