Quaint Snow Hill Cottage - on working family farm

My husband and I had a lovely warm welcome from Mary Betty when we arrived. We spent the first three nights at the main house and remaining time at the carriage house next door. Both were comfortable and homely. Mary Betty could not have been a more helpful and accommodating host and we had a great stay at her farm. Hopefully we'll be back again later this year.

Anthony is such a wonderful host! My family and I were in town for a soccer tournament and it felt as if we were back at home. It was so nice spending our down time here between games. The board games and hot chocolate were a hit with our kids. Everything listed and shown in photos is 100% accurate. Anthony was also very quick to answer any questions we had. We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay 😁

Very cute place! It was a great late valentine getaway for me and my boyfriend! You’re secluded in a little cabin surrounded by forest and next to a little pond with a boat to use! The place itself was very clean and neat. Loved our time there and making plans to revisit and explore the trails! since the snow kept us in this time. Mason was a great host very responsive and accommodating!

I stay in Airbnbs year round. Danielle’s place is absolutely spotless. She responds to any questions that I had. It is close to the hospital where I work which was fantastic. I loved this place so much I extended my contract and the rental on this Airbnb.

I've been renting the place for the past 3 years and will definitely rent again. The place was very clean and comfortable. The host was very accommodating and had quick responses to our needs. Thank you for always being helpful. If anyone is looking for a place to rent while in town I will definitely recommend this place.

Patricia was an awesome host, she would respond quickly and was willing to help us find things to do in the area. Even when there was a tornado that touched down she messaged to see how everyone was doing! First experience for my family and I to use airbnb and it was a pleasant experience 🙂

We had a nice stay. The house is small, but it was comfortable. It was nice to have a fenced yard so my dogs could run around. The neighborhood was quiet, even on New Year’s Eve.

My husband and I had a lovely time staying at Matthew’s place. It was extremely pet friendly, and the place was clean and cozy. The property is really quiet and peaceful, and we really did see a black bear, which I loved but my hound dog did NOT appreciate. 10/10 would absolutely stay again.

If you are looking for a five-star hotel/stay this is not for you. However, it was clean and comfortable. Bianca and Megan were very flexible, helpful, and responded to our questions right away. If you are traveling with pets, this is a great property. The property is completely fenced in and has a big back and front yard for your pet to run free. While Kinston is a transition community, we felt safe in this neighborhood and encountered no issues. The neighbors were friendly. If you are traveling to Kinston and need a place to stay, I highly recommend this place or the other one that Biance has listed down the road. Thanks for your flexibility with checking in and out!!!!
