Killeavy Cottage

AmieleeRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We stayed here for my partners Birthday and it was just perfect. The cottage was very well decorated and had the most cosy feeling ever. The place itself had everything you need for a great stay and is in a scenic and quiet location, particularly for nature lovers. Any questions I had prior to and during my stay were answered quickly and efficiently by the host which is much appreciated. Glenn provided us with recommendations on places to go / eat alongside local taxis. We ended up going to slieve gullion which was absolutely beautiful. The small added details to the property just made it even better. Thank you so much for the beautiful stay, we will be back!!

Modern one bedroom country cottage with jacuzzi

GreggRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
As a host Vince is top drawer, responsive to messages, greets you upon arrival, provides you with a history of the place and is genuinely welcoming and friendly with a keen interest on you enjoying your stay. Despite the cottage being beside his main residence it couldn’t feel more private, the hot tub was great and luckily we had a clear night and managed to star gaze while the fire crackled away keeping us warm. Inside the cottage was warm, everything was clean and the bed was comfy and a great place to relax with the tv in the room. Perfect for our night away but would be equally perfect for those who want to make use of the surrounding area and take a few trips up the mournes or into Newcastle for the day.

Owenie's Cottage - Enjoy Our Private Hot Tub

JanelleRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A Perfect Retreat at Owenies Cottage Our stay at Owenies Cottage in Ireland was truly amazing. The highlight for us was the hot tub and cozy living room, which provided a wonderful way to unwind while taking in the stunning surroundings. The host went above and beyond by leaving us some delightful treats, and fridge stocked to make breakfast; which added a nice personal touch to our experience. The views from the cottage were breathtaking, and we were fortunate enough to witness some incredible sunrises and sunsets during our stay. It truly made our time there feel special. We found Owenies Cottage to be the perfect stop for our two-night getaway during our 8 day Ireland trip, offering us a peaceful place to relax and recharge. Overall, it was a lovely experience, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy retreat in Ireland. Liz is definitely an amazing host!!

Mc Courts Cottage, Mourne Mountains

JoanneRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Absolutely beautiful cottage in very peaceful surroundings. The cottage itself is quaint and has everything that you would need for a great stay. Helpful hints would be to bring some extra firewood and boardgames for the kids. Annette went above and beyond and put up banners for my daughter and niece to celebrate their Confirmation which was a lovely surprise when we arrived. I would most certainly recommend. Sitting in the hottub watching the stars was the perfect family get away. Thank you Annette for such a lovely stay.

If I could give Audrey 6 stars I would! The cottage was cosy, clean and we had everything we needed. Audrey was welcoming and spent time explaining things, telling us about the surrounding area and ensuring that we were comfortable. I hope to visit Riverstown and Audrey's cottage again one day.

No.37 - Cottage in the heart of St. Davids

EmmaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This is a beautiful little cottage. Perfect for 4 people. It is as described and the pictures are spot on. The owner Matt let us clock in early and leave a little late. Communication was easy and friendly. It was the perfect location for my 50th Birthday. The cathedral is just down the road. Plenty of amenities. So much nicer to visit StDavids in the spring if you don't like crowds. I highly recommend this house and would love to come back.

Converted Old Stone Barn near the HOOK peninsula.

JimRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a great weekend with grown-up family at Helen's place. It was very comfortable and very well equipped for cooking. The outdoor area was nice in the sunshine. Helen's communications were great. There was plenty to do within a short drive. We did the Hook Head Lighthouse tour and walked the coast to Slade. We also visited the JFK Arboretum. We would definitely return.

Peaceful Country Cottage

AlRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Well you can't get much more peaceful, the cottage is perfectly described in the name. it's a beautiful cottage, a decent size and has literally everything you'll need for your stay. We had an amazingly relaxing few nights, chilling in front of tge fire and enjoying the place. ten minutes drive by taxi your in gorgeous Drumshambo, few tasty pints in Conways and a taxi home in no time, the locals were so friendly and it was such fun. Next morning we were fishing for pike in the beautiful Lough Allen, only minutes away again, no luck this time unfortunately. Everything was arranged easily with Margaret and we got some great advice from her colleague Gerry. We will definitely return soon. Thanks Mags x

Contemporary cottage on the Wild Atlantic Way

ClaireRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We were so delighted when a booking became available for here. The house is situated in a stunning area of Sligo. Sitting by the window and taking in the views or reading a book with a cup of tea was just perfect. There was plenty for us to explore in the surrounding areas (Benbulbin forest walk, Gleniff Horseshoe, Mullaghmore beach and the lovely sauna on the pier, Streedagh beach, Queen Maeve’s cairn). After a day of seeing the sights the cottage was a great place to rest and relax. Kate has thought of everything and she was a super host to communicate with. My children loved the bunk beds and having space to run around outside while saying hello to the neighbouring sheep.

Fuchsia Lane Farm Stables Cottage

BethanyRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Niall and Inez were wonderful hosts. The farm was beautiful and very peaceful. We stayed for 10 days and got to enjoy all the beautiful aspects of the farm; walking trails, petting the horses and enjoying the peacefulness. The cottage was perfect! Very comfortable and felt like home. We enjoyed making a fire in the evenings and cooking breakfast in the mornings. We even made blackberry jam with blackberries from the farm and Inez’s recipe. The cottage we stayed in slept four; we had one couple and one single person and it was plenty of room. We felt very safe while staying on the farm. We utilized the laundry and that was very convenient. We rented a car to get around and enjoyed many local restaurants, coffee shops and castles. Niall was very responsive when we had questions or needed anything. When we arrived he gave us a quick tour of the farm grounds and cottage pointing out where things were. The farm is a must stay if looking for a peaceful place to stay.

Heron Coastal Cottage in Thatched Village on beach

RhonaRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Thank you Riana for 5 wonderful nights at the beautiful Heron Cottage. We were absolutyely thrilled with everything. It was the most exquisite place to stay for a short break with my 90 year old mother, immaculately clean and incredibly comfortable. We loved the gorgeous decor and it was equipped with everything you could wish for. Everything is so easy to work, with super instructions readily available. The private steps to the beach make for a magical journey over to the harbour where we feasted on fish and chips and the outdoor seating was just perfect to relax with a glass of wine. The location is superb for touring around. We were blown away by the beauty of the place and it's fascinating history. Heron cottage is a very special place and Riana is the most welcoming, most generous host as was her lovely daughter who greeted us on arrival. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to enjoy a holiday here. To be honest we didn't want to leave and we hope to return.

Luxury Rural Retreat

KarenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We are just back from a lovely couple of days stay at the cottage. It's quaint, cosy and in a peaceful location. The kitchen/living area with log burner were spotless as were the bedroom and bathroom both of which are a good size. The bath was very welcoming after a long days hike and the shower had great water pressure. Francis's directions were spot and so were her recommendations. We booked the Yellow Heifer for the first night, good food and atmosphere and went back the next day after a hike for the must have chicken wings and Guinness. Strandfield also great for vegetarian food and shop. I can definitely recommend Francis's cottage and hope to be back again.
