Vacation rentals with breakfast in Leeward Islands

We loved this place! If you are looking for a quiet and very private getaway, this is perfect. Being out in the open air for the majority of the time is quite different. Amazing food was provided twice a day by Anne. She set our table and served us before sneaking off to give us privacy. Ken was so helpful getting us to and from the airport, and also to the mainland for a day on the town. On the way, he took us on a little tour of the lagoon where we saw stingrays. We also saw sharks and an assortment of beautiful fish during our stay. If we get to do it again, and we hope we do, we'd take heavy duty bug spray (for those that get bitten bad). The hosts provided citronella spray, but it didn't work for me. My husband didn't have any issues with mosquitos, so it worked for him. However, this would not stop me from going again. Vincent, thank you so much for sharing your slice of heaven with us. Your team, Anne and Ken, did a great job and were so welcoming, kind and wonderful.

Alban picked us up by boat at our hotel and we did a 3 night cruise exploring the island of Bora Bora. The only way to really experience Bora Bora is by boat, so highly encourage this! Alban is an experienced sailor, who sailed here from France, crossing both the Atlantic and half the Pacific. He’s also worked as a cruise captain and knows how to host — just started on AirBnB: jump on this before he gets too popular with great reviews! We felt very welcome. Alban adapted our tour to our interest, knew all the beautiful places to snorkel and swim with sharks and rays. Food was excellent: local and French cuisine and deserts prepared fresh every time (restaurant level quality), sometimes prepared with the help of his daughters who were also on board during our stay. You get all the best views of Bora Bora from the boat that you’d be laying down $3-6k per night for at a resort. Plus a sense of freedom and adventure.

Jenny and Bruno offered to organize A/R transport from Raiatea airport to reach their pension, (2 taxis and 1 boat), it simplifies life! Good welcome, good places, good stay, thank you!

A reasonable place to stay if you want to be close to Fare. It’s a 10 minute walk into town and beach access is just a few minutes away. You aren’t getting many views at this place so we didn’t really use the outdoor spaces. Having AC in both rooms was appreciated and the unit was comfortable, clean and functional. You could manage without a vehicle at this accommodation which could be a cost savings (though renting a vehicle of some sort for at least one day is highly recommended to see the island - riding e-bikes is great as the roads are interesting, quiet and the entire loop is achievable in a day).

The accommodation is located with your feet in the water, with beautiful sunrises Jean Paul showed exceptional hospitality. Every morning, the local breakfast, prepared by Jean Paul, was a real treat, and these tips on the island were very rich. We particularly appreciated the kayak loan towards the motu Ofetaro as well as the exploration of the only river, navigable it was a memorable experience with Jean Paul's family, followed by the visit to the Botanical Garden... To all future visitors, feel free to talk with Jean-Paul about his passions and his island, it's truly enriching and great! Finally, a real Airbnb in direct contact with the owner and not a lockbox. Once again, thank you for everything...

Wow, what a place to stay! The views were unbelievable. You stay in a private bungalow that feels like you are in a tree house. You wake up every morning and get to look at a most amazing view of the ocean and see the sunrise. The amount of sea life we saw hanging out on the pontoon was unreal. The best thing about the place though is Tama and his family. They would give us suggestions of places to see, things todo and places to eat and every suggestion was great. When you stay here you don’t feel like a customer but part of their family. Tama and his family are the kindest people you will meet. I feel very lucky to have been able to stay at Tama’s place and experience Taha’a like I did. An unforgettable special vacation! We can’t wait for our next time here!

Vetea, Stellio and Maeva were outstanding hosts, very welcoming and friendly. They went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Location is perfect. Would highly recommend and will stay here again in the future.
