One of the best places we've ever stayed on vacation! The house was beautiful and kept very clean. So much character and history. Peter and Darlene were gracious hosts, very welcoming and helpful with local recommendations. Would absolutely stay there again!

5 of my best friends enjoyed a 50th birthday getaway to The Sheldon Manor immensely! The manor is breathtakingly decorated and any possible needed amenity is there. We enjoyed dips in the hot tub and loads of giggles in the sunroom. The manor is perfectly located a short drive to either Perth OR Newboro & Westport for a little girl's shopping and or wineing and dining. All the ladies want to come back in the summer to enjoy the swimming pool. I cannot recommend The Sheldon Manor enough for your next to stay!

Our stay was delightful! The location was perfect, and the decor made it feel cozy while being away from home. The host was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond. The wifi was spotty, but they were also very accommodating with our holiday stay.

Kirsten was so gracious in letting us book same-day after we had a bit of a renovation crisis at our home and needed somewhere nearby to escape the noise and chaos. The accomodations were cozy and charming, and so thoughtfully appointed that we fell in love with it immediately. It was just what we needed - welcoming and restful, great water pressure, a large comfortable bed, even farm-fresh eggs and cream waiting for us in the fridge! Such a special place. I was visiting my family for Thanksgiving and wanted to find a cottage that would accommodate a family of 5. By a stroke of luck I was able to book Kevin and Melissa’s place. (Due to a last minute cancellation). There was a full weekend of thanksgiving events. They went ALL out!! The trailer was so beautiful and comfortable. And the view from all the windows and deck are breathtaking. Wonderful place and wonderful people. Will definitely be back!

Both Melissa and Kevin were pleasant and always available to assist in any way possible. Loved our stay at the Cozy Cottage for the Easter long weekend. The decor , Easter egg hunt, and the cookie decorating kits were a beautiful touch for our kids to enjoy. They especially loved the ride even if they felt there too big . Will definitely be referring friends and family to stay at Serenity Bay Resort. Can't wait to book another stay.

I am a returning customer and my group and I agree every year that Wayne's place is always perfect for what we need. it is well stocked, the game closet is perfect for a group or kids, and the property is great for hosting and/relaxing. We love enjoying time on the deck and gazebo watching the beautiful birds, playing pool while watching TV and entertaining in the basement, and being so close to town if necessary. The house has so much space for any need and really has everything you may need and more. We will be back again next year!

We spent an unforgettable Thanksgiving weekend at Robert’s house. This house is more than just an accommodation, its a whole experience of slow countryside living at its best. The house is beautiful, filled with light and books. It is well lived in and has everything that you might need. We were happy to find the fully operational kitchen as we needed to cook the Thanksgiving dinner. Even though we brought a lot of cooking supplies with us, we could totally skip it - the kitchen has everything that you might need. The heating works well, we only needed to turn it on for couple hours in the evening. Robert was proactive and left us very detailed instructions. So if you hesitate whether you should book this place or not, let this review be a sign for you. Come stay at the Bell house and let your dream of a cottage in the woods cme true. Eddy’s house was absolutely beautiful. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with dishes, serving utensils, small appliances, etc. which made cooking a breeze. The bedrooms were very comfortable and we had more than enough towels and linens for our stay. This spacious home and quiet neighbourhood was perfect for our family’s relaxing stay. I highly recommend this property!!

We had a nice stay at Onefeather's home. The street is quiet, no noise whatsoever. The house was very well supplied with everything you need and more. The air conditioner was needed for a couple of days and that worked well. I would definitely stay again when visiting the area. Thank you for our great stay. Nova Scotia girls.

A nice comfortable place in a rural setting

Manuela’s home is incredibly spacious and very well suited to accommodate families and multiple couples. The home is located in close proximity to Perth, its parks, and a kayak/paddle board outfitters on the Tay River. The home is very sunny generally and it includes a lovely kitchen eating area as well as a large dining room for guests. The 2.5 bathrooms were well appointed and the kitchen was well equipped. The home was well cared for and very clean. Manuela is a helpful host who responded to our questions promptly.

Our 3 generation group came from the southern US to experience a white Canadian Christmas. Riley made the whole experience magical! Hot mulled cider welcomed us. A fire crackled in the fireplace. A massive, real, and exquisitely decorated, 16 foot Christmas tree glistened in the comfortable and tasteful great room. The gorgeous kitchen was well stocked with basics and treats. Riley took time to orient us to the immaculate house, amenities and beautiful natural surroundings. Five stars are inadequate to rate Riley. He is exceptionally kind & personable and went well above and beyond excellent! In our world-wide travels with many Airbnb stays, Riley would rate as the best host we have ever experienced. Ten very deserved stars**********!

Shayne’s place was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated! It’s in a quiet neighbourhood, walkable to shops and restaurants if you dont mind walking a few blocks to the main street. Shayne was quick to respond, a great host! It was the perfect spot for our girls weekend. Highly recommend his place ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We loved this house and it’s serenity. Our visit was in winter and we had an inconvenient and delayed in checking out of the place due to weather conditions and host was very understanding of the situation and very cooperative at all times. We were 11 family members in total and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Our stay was absolutely magical! The cottage was impeccably maintained, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The cozy fireplace quickly became our favorite spot to relax, especially with the festive charm of the beautiful Christmas decorations. It truly felt like a home away from home. Very nice and cozy place to stay with your family. We stayed there for three months and felt like home. Location is also perfect and its walkable to all the local shops and restaurants. Looking forward for another stay at this historic building.

Once again we had a wonderful time. The place is beautiful, the grounds are well kept and this year since the river was running high we spent a lot of time swimming. We’ll be back!
