Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Lawrence County

We felt quite at home and comfortable at the cottage. It was very clean which really impressed us! It smelled fresh and that’s saying something for a pet friendly place. There were little thoughtful things that meant a lot. There was dog kibble under the sink, soap at the bathroom sink, dish soap and dish detergent, extra trash bags, even paper towels and toilet tissue. These things are always items I’ve had to provide in the past and the reason I’ll be booking here again if I stay in the area again. We absolutely enjoyed it. So a big thank you to Blake and his team!!!

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay! The home and grounds were beautiful. We felt right at home. Our weekend away was peaceful and everything we needed! We had fun fishing in the pond, swinging around the firepit, and lounging in the hammock. Thank you for a fabulous time!

Great place will stay here again

Another wonderful visit to Magnolia House!! This is our pick of the places when we return to Florence to see friends and family, and we do so often due to being a travel family. Our 2 year old loves this home as much as we do and refers to it as “my home” when we pull up. She even remembered there being a Christmas tree there from our last visit which goes to show you it is truly the little things that make this place the place to stay. We, of course, will be staying again!! Definitely recommend!!

Andrea was very responsive. There were a couple of minor issues out of her control that she handled and took care of immediately! Will definitely stay here in the future! Very positive experience!

Great location. Beautiful home. It had everything we needed. very clean.

Unfortunately, a tornado damaged the house during our stay. There was widespread damage in downtown Tuscumbia. Jamey answered his phone immediately and came to check on us. It was in the middle of the night. Streets were blocked with downed trees and power lines. He had to walk a ways in the rain, but he was there. He offered to take us to his own house with his family. We declined, we were okay, and our car wasn’t damaged…but we couldn’t have asked for a nicer host. We hope the house can be repaired. It is absolutely beautiful.

Our stay at the pool house was absolutely wonderful. Dana is one of the best hosts we’ve ever had. She was communicative, proactive, friendly, and very aware of what we might need and how she could help us. I would go back in a flash. This was a great Airbnb experience

Kellie’s place is better than pictures! It was so quiet and peaceful. We loved tying our boat at the dock. Fish weren’t biting but we had fun out in the water. We had my husbands service animal( who loves to swim and all things water) and our pet dachshunds Mattie and Willow. Loved having the deck gated with a ramp. Finley loved jumping off the dock for his beloved frisbee. The only difficulty we had was swimming back he had to have us haul him out of the water. She left a great goodie basket and starter stuff such as trash bag, laundry detergent,dishwasher & dish detergent, toilet paper , ect…. we would definitely return. I especially appreciated how clean it was.

The location of the cabin was amazing. It was very clean inside & out. The kitchen was very well stocked with eating and cooking utensils. Plenty of linens were available. We enjoyed the outdoor amenities which included the screened in porch, cement patio, fire pit , hammock and kayaks. The welcome basket was a special touch and very much appreciated.

Highly recommend this place to stay if you’re ever in Florence. Stacy is super helpful, and we loved the pool! We stayed for a girl’s trip, and it was so relaxing. All restaurants, fast food, and shopping are super close by!

The cabin was impeccably clean. I really appreciated not having to find any random hairs, unclean dishes, etc. The layout was perfect for our needs. My parents stayed in the downstairs bedroom with nicely updated bathroom and accessible shower and I stayed upstairs with the children and the Jack and Jill type bathroom worked well for us. There are great views from the screened porch and it was easy to walk down to the private pier to fish. We drove to wheeler park for an outing and purchased bait and a cane pole. The kids loved fishing from the pier and seeing the wildlife. We left the cane pole at the cabin, so hopefully future guests will enjoy using it. We knew there was a pool on the property, but there are also basketball and tennis courts and a playground to use. Sunsets were beautiful from the pier. The beds are very comfortable, but high, so keep this in mind if you have people with limited mobility or young children. Overall, it was a great and peaceful stay!

Place was absolutely beautiful! The cabin was better than pictures and was extremely clean! Had such a wonderful time of rest!

We love the Doublehead area! Lori and David’s house was clean, with nice, comfortable furnishings inside and outside! It was as pictured. We would recommend it as a place to stay, and would stay there again!

This cabin is a jewel tucked into some of the most beautiful country there is. My family has rented the cabin and retreat house for the past 3 years and will hopefully continue to rent until we buy our own property.

My wife and I stayed here for a couple nights and had a great time! Our hosts were incredibly welcoming. The house was comfortable and clean. They allowed us to walk all around the property through the pasture and to a swimming hole. The horses are beautiful and friendly, we were able to pet and take a few pictures of them. The stream next to the house and the rooster were nice to listen to. It reminded me of when I was kid running around in the woods with my buddies. This place is close to our home and I'm sure we will be back soon. We had a very good time!

This was a cozy, welcoming cabin tucked away in a serene, peaceful setting. We loved relaxing here for an evening after a long day of driving. We wish we could have stayed longer to walk around the beautiful setting. It was fun seeing cows grazing out in the pasture in the morning. What a idillic place to recharge!

This was our 3rd year in a row staying there for the week of Thanksgiving. Our family feels right at home, from the kids to our pup- they all love running and playing in the abundance of leaves. The home is always spotless and very accessible.

The cabin is peaceful and the property is beautiful. There is a covered porch, pavilion creek side, and the creek is something our dogs loved! Would definitely stay there again if we’re in the area.

Wonderful cottage and conveniently located. It was super clean and very accommodating with a fenced in yard for our fur baby. the master bed and linens were very comfy. I highly recommend staying Herr and will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our Valentine’s weekend at this cabin! The view was beautiful and it had everything we needed to enjoy the weekend in. Cooked a lot of meals in the kitchen and found it well-stocked and clean. Small but never felt cramped. Our pup had a blast as well. We would love to return in the summertime!
