Vacation rentals in Lawrence County

This as our second time staying at Marilyn’s Cottage. We were in the Bedford area for a funeral. Space allowed for the extended family to have a place to gather after the service. Everything was perfect. The setting is secluded, peaceful and very well appointed.

We felt such a connection with the river we had to come back. This place is perfect for my husband and I to disconnect from life and focus on nature and each other. Lisa is the best and we look forward to staying with her again soon!

What a great time in Avoca. The size worked great for our big family. Amanda was a great host. They reached out to make sure we had what we needed and was comfortable. The charm of the house was so fun to stay in. It is worth noting the traffic in the morning as people are headed to work can be loud. However we became accustomed to it in short order. Thanks for a great house.

Tammy was an amazing host! We had a girls trip and our stay at a cozy cabin was exactly what we were looking for! Plus with the cabin being pet friendly, it made less to worry about getting to share our space/trip with the floofs! She was such a gracious host, if we had any questions or concerns Tammy and her husband resolved any issues immediately! The cabin was so peaceful and cozy! Definitely recommend checking out her stay!

This place is definitely a hidden gem in Bedford, a short trip to multiple caves. Very quiet and secluded with beautiful views out of every window. The gas fireplace was definitely a plus.

We loved JJ's cabin! Her decor was charming and inviting. The beds and linens were very comfortable. We've had good experiences with cleanliness in Airbnbs, but this was perfection! I've never seen such a clean refrigerator in my life! One thing to be aware of is that the bathroom and bedroom doors do not have locks due to their nature as sliding barn doors. We visited in early February, and the cabin did not seem well-insulated. But, the cabin has thermostats you can adjust, an artificial fireplace that can expell heat, and 2 space heaters. If you make use of these multiple heating devices, you will be comfortable! We would definitely recommend staying here!

Very quiet and comfortable. The house was very clean and well kept.

We really enjoyed our stay! House was exceptionally clean and had everything that we needed! Carrie was very easy to work with and we felt right at home! Thanks again for making our stay so enjoyable!
