Beautiful, authentic Latvian property. Just across the street from a wonderful woodland walk, short distance drive from the town. Cosy and warm.

We had a great stay at Mareks’s place with our three (small) kids. It’s very spatious and practical and in a great location to explore the western coast area. Mareks is respectful of his guest’s privacy, but always nearby and very helpful. Highly recommended!

We had a great short holiday of four days, and Jelena's apartment was a great place to relax and explore Ventspils. Large bathroom, fast hot water. The living room is not particularly large, but well equipped, with dishwasher, kitchen equipment, large modern TV. For eating and drinking tea, the owners have provided a gazebo in the courtyard, which is much nicer than spending time in the apartment. The location is excellent, in the city centre. Everything is accessible by car and bicycle. We recommend renting this apartment for a holiday.

We loved our stay in this beautiful old Latvian property. The cottage is full of character and must have an amazing history. I love that Marcis leaves the keys to other historical buildings on the grounds. My son loved exploring the veranda, barn and drying barn. We also loved the proximity to the river swimming spot (5 mins walk, take insect repellent in the summer). This is a unique way to experience Latvian living of yonder year, but with the necessary mod cons (hot shower, fridge freezer, electric hobs). We also found the bed extremely comfortable. Do not expect luxury, but do expect lots and lots of charm and character.

Excellent place if you wish simply get away from the City or have a big birthday party. Huge garden, toys and activities for children. Very friendly and responsive host, beautiful place and easy get to.

Great place to stay! Near sea, parks and few of places to see in Ventspils. Place is tidy and nice for stay with friends, family and pets. Garden is great for picnics, pets and children will have a lot to do there. Host is wonderful and will contact you beforehand to confirm all the details and ensure that your stay is as smooth as possible.

Lienes place is very quiet, very clean, with a nice style and cozy. The living room is spacious with a big couch. The bed is very comfortable and we slept very well. The kitchen had everything we needed. The view goes far over green fields and woods. We felt very welcomed by Lienes mother. Velga gave us a lot of good tips. She and her husband were awesome. We would definitely like to come back and can absolutely recommend his place. Thank you very much Liene for sharing your place and thank you Velga for your warm welcome.

Akmeni Resort was amazing! It was very clean and cozy. Kitchen had all equipment for cooking and a big bonus was coffee machine, as we are big coffee lovers. Beds were big and very comfortable with extra pillows. Outside there was a BBQ and with extra cost we could use jacuzzi or sauna. Grownups had also comfy robes that were perfect after a jacuzzi. The place was perfect with kids, as all they did was having fun in pool or in jacuzzi, or if they had a break from swimming, they could play in the playground or just watch local squirrels play and eat in their cage. Even though there are three other rentals on the spot, it was quite peaceful and we could enjoy sound of crickets in the evening. We really loved this place!
