Fantastic, cozy and comfortable. Easy drive to Starved Rock, but also close to great restaurants in downtown Ottawa. Impeccably clean, with a great kitchen. And a large backyard for your kids to blow off steam! Jennifer was easy to work with and responsive. A great stay!

Perfect place to stay while visiting state parks. Two adults but can comfortably fit 4. Located on a quiet street. Private driveway that can fit two cars. Large dining room for meals or to play games. Large kitchen. Comfortable sofas. Large bedrooms and one good sized bathroom. Host was responsive to questions and messages. Close to Ottawa, Utica, and state parks. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay. The house is beautiful and immaculately kept. The kitchen was well stocked and there were tons of towels in each room. The beds were cozy and the heat adjusted quickly. The two highlights were (1) the beautiful deck overlooking the river, where we saw a bald eagle and sandhill cranes migrating and (2) the game room, where we enjoyed family games of pool and poker. The house was 15 minutes from Starved Rock and 2 minutes from a grocery store, so the location was super convenient as well.

Clean, clutter free, all three kids slept all night. That's a win. Thanks

Our fur baby enjoyed our mini get away for his birthday. He enjoyed the big back yard, and the ton of space in the home. We will definitely come back! 🩷🐶🐾

We always stay at The Baldwin House when we visit family in Streator. We feel right at home and most everything is a short walk away. The park, Walgreens, a delicious bakery, coffee shops, fabulous restaurants, and unique shopping. I highly recommend Toni's Airbnb and the restaurants, Good Morning, Good Day and Gaetano's Vault. We sleep and eat well in Streator. 💛😊

Great place, definitely worth the money! Very happy with my stay here. Things to note: The train tracks are pretty active, seemed to be a train going by every 2-3 hours. I liked it, but I could see it being a negative for others. My only real complaint was that some of the kitchen items had noticeable food residue. Not enough that I needed to reach out to Debra or anything, but enough that I felt the need to rewash a handful of things. Lastly, the floors are mostly well carpeted but parts are painted concrete foundation. Again, I liked it, and it seemed to be a stylistic choice, but if you're highly prone to chilly feet you may want to bring some thick socks or slippers.

Very clean and close to plenty of restaurants down town. I will gladly stay there again when I am in town for work. This was way better than staying at a hotel and the owners were very accommodating.

Loft was as described. Worked well for our extended family. The loft is spacious and kitchen amenities were more than adequate. The patio was under renovation during our stay, so not available.

My dog and I had a short but lovely stay at Lisa's place. It was easy to find and the instructions on how to get in were accurate and helpful. I didn't anticipate how much my dog would bark if there was any noise upstairs but it was very quiet overall and he barks more at home when he sees people walk by throughout the day. The backyard was very large and there were cute cows next door. Everything was clean and Lisa was super responsive to any questions and made sure to let me know when her dogs were in the yard. Everything was very convenient and while it good to anticipate a bit of a drive to Starved Rock and Matthiessen (20-ish minutes), there were a surprising number of restaurants and shops in any direction so you could also pick up food or souvenirs on the way. The folder of menus Lisa provided was very helpful to narrow down the options. The kitchen had plenty of supplies if you want to cook. The space isn't huge but has everything you need to have a comfortable stay. Thanks!

We enjoyed our stay! It was extremely clean, well kept, cute decor, and steps from the main strip. We had a mini fridge, sink, and coffee maker in our room which was a nice touch. The bed was soooo comfortable I didn’t want to leave it! Would definitely book here again.

What a lovely , cozy and unique place to stay! We had all needed amenities and was walking distance to great restaurants and shops. The overall feel of this place was modern yet cozy and extremely comfortable. Amazing character as opposed to a sterile feeling hotel! 10 out of 10!
