Kid-friendly vacation rentals in L'Aquila

We did our annual meeting with old friends and it was the perfect location! There was a large living room to stay together, fully equipped kitchen! Extreme peace of mind and breathtaking scenery ! The kittens around the house are so sweet. The lady was then so kind that upon our arrival, knowing we were winemakers, she left us 4 bottles to taste in the area ! Thank you !

The place is beautiful, intimate and immersed in the woods. Fabrizio is a very helpful person and a great connoisseur of the area. We had a great time and recommend it.

Everything was perfect. Tina and her parents were extremely friendly with us! They even lit the fireplace to create a magical and romantic atmosphere! Beautiful views of the mountains and a peace we could not find in a long time!

Our stay (with 2 very young children) in this beautiful cottage was a real relief. Located in an idyllic setting, the location exudes tranquility and nature. The house itself was brand clean and taken care of to the last detail. Lamberto's hospitality was top - from the moment of arrival to departure, we felt more than welcome. The house was also equipped with every comfort, even toys for the children were thought of. The village itself is very quiet, almost deserted, but precisely because of that you will experience an unprecedented silence and relaxation here. It is a great base for all kinds of beautiful excursions in the area. Finally, there is a charming, authentic restaurant in the village (Parkkeller). The food is delicious and the atmosphere cozy, perfect for a cozy dinner after a day of adventure.

Our stay at Angelo‘s was absolutely incredible! Nestled in a stunning mountain location, this property offers breathtaking views and a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The house itself was immaculate, beautifully maintained, and equipped with everything we needed to feel comfortable. The host was exceptional—so friendly, responsive, and helpful, making sure every aspect of our stay was perfect. From the moment we booked, they were attentive and quick to answer any questions, adding a personal touch to the experience. We traveled with family, and this getaway proved to be the ideal space for bonding and relaxation. Whether it was enjoying morning coffee with the mountain view, exploring the surroundings, or simply unwinding in the cozy atmosphere, we cherished every moment. It was wonderful to experience the beautiful town of Capestrano. The home was charming, cozy and comfortable and so romantic! Easy drives to Sulmona, L'aquila and Pescara.

This was a beautiful part of Abruzzo to stay. It was close to everything and each day we saw something new. Daniel’s father, Gino was onsite twice a day to ensure the pool was in tip top shape. The highlight was being invited to share lunch with Gino & Theresa on our last day. An interesting event with neither of us speaking any of each other’s language. (Google translate prevailed) it was a beautiful lunch together.

We stayed in three families with 6 kids in tow and everything was perfect. The house is very large, clean and well maintained - among other things, it is equipped with everything you need. The host was very friendly and helpful, including the location within walking distance of downtown. The other couples were also very happy with the place, in short, I recommend it for all the reasons mentioned above without reservations.

If you want to experience comfortable and modern accommodations in the heart of a crumbling, centuries-old village in one of the less touristed parts of Italy, then this is a perfect location. The apartment is on the lower level, so there is less natural light, but it is clean and full of modern amenities. It is small but easily accommodated two couples. The apartment is a minute or two walk from the local bar. There are not really any shops or restaurants in the village, but a 15 minute walk to the base of the town, down a street lined with tall cypress trees will bring you to the village bakery which also stocks a few other food items. Ofena was significantly damaged in the 2009 earthquake that devastated the nearby city of L’Aquila, so many of the buildings are damaged and a considerable amount of restoration is underway resulting in some areas being closed off and a fair bit of noisy construction when we were there.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Melarancino with our 5-month-old dog Nala. The house has everything you need as well as a great outdoor space for the dog. Alessio was a very kind and helpful host: he allowed us to arrive before the standard check-in time and to stay even after the checkout time. The house is also very close to L'Aquila and Campo Felice.

Very positive visit. The heating is a bit noisy, but no problem with the bedroom door closed. The shower is quite small for normally built people. The apartment is lovingly decorated, well located and definitely worth a visit!

Beautifully kept apartment space with lots of room, bright windows and a very nice terrace. Mid century furniture and fixtures made it very interesting to look around in each room. This place is very well cared for and in super neat and clean condition. Roberta was very nice and welcoming the whole time.

Our stay at il Gufo Azzurro was great! The apartment was comfortable and had absolutely EVERYTHING one might need, including plenty of welcome gifts to get started (plenty for many breakfasts and also a dinner!). Such a convenient location - so close to the Centro Storico to walk to everything in town, but with a garage for our rental car for our adventures further afield. Lovely view over the town from the balcony. Some street noise on the balcony, but hardly noticed any noise when inside. Franca and Nello were very quick to respond with any questions we had, as well as for arranging check-in. We'll stay here again!

Exactly as described, Lucia's accommodation is perfect both in summer and winter, a stone's throw from the services of Pian De' Valli and the facilities. We found everything tidy and very clean.

Alessandra was helpful and very kind. The house is very nice and well organized; it is located in the center and it is easy to get around on foot to visit L'Aquila. The floor is heated and there was a nice warmth entering the house after the long laps in the cold eagle. Excellent experience I recommend it.

Lisa and Paul are nice and very kind managers, they welcomed us warmly and the house was really nice, spacious and well furnished. The rooms were spacious and the beds comfortable. Our two kids also had a great time. Recommended for everyone.

Being at Giorgio's place is like being at home, but with the possibility of a breathtaking view and a fireplace that would warm all hearts. Giorgio is an impeccable and super helpful host. We'll definitely be back.

rustic apartment, equipped with everything and very comfortable in a quiet area of Cappadocia (350 meters from the center). The apartment on the second floor can be easily reached with external stairs and is wonderful, impeccable cleanliness, equipped with everything and also equipped to accommodate small dogs like ours. Check-in remotely, we immediately felt at home. Perfect to spend a delicious we or even for longer periods. Fantastic!
