Vacation rentals with a pool in Lamothe-Fénelon

Fantastic property in a great location. We loved how private it felt whilst still only being a short hop to breath taking locations. The pool is outstanding and everything is clean and catered for. If you want to visit a beautiful place, receive a wonderful warm welcome and be sad to leave then this is the place for you!

One week stay during the Toussaint 2024 holidays with 2 adults + 3 children. Old house with 4 bedrooms + 1 bathroom and toilet upstairs (+billiards and foosball!), and on the living room ground floor +kitchen+1 other bathroom/wc. For 5 very comfortable with lots of space and just what you need in terms of furnishings. The house was very clean. The kitchen is well equipped and functional. Didn't get a chance at this time to go into the garden or use the pool. Possibility to park the car (minivan 7pl) in the small courtyard in front of the house. Possibility to walk to town from the house + with the car quite a few sites to visit within 45 minutes. José is very proactive in making sure everything goes smoothly.

Firstly the hosts were responsive from the moment we booked to right through to check out. It helps they live on-site so when we had questions/issued Tas was with us instantly. The house has an incredible wow factor, and the heated pool and outside setting was to die for. Perfect for a general pool party / bbq party. What we especially liked as 3 couples with babies and toddlers, Tas has a “just like home approach” meaning we were not at all worried about the kids. The house is well equipped and had 3 high chairs and cots (with matresses). The bedrooms are wonderful and beds very comfortable, for an old house even the shower pressure was good. This region is rural so with water nearby do expect the usual flies/bugs/mozzie. That said, I was not biten all week and there were ample citronella aids (raid) left in kitchen for us along with a welcome hamper. Hosts are English and cater for a UK audience very well. Noise was never a problem and we felt at ease al week.

We had a wonderful stay at Florence's in her beautiful rural house located in the splendid Dordogne Valley. Florence was an exemplary host, always available, very kind and full of good tips for discovering this rich region. The house was impeccably clean, very quiet, perfect for resting and enjoying nature. In the evening, we were able to admire an incredible starry sky thanks to the low light pollution, which made our experience even more magical. Thanks to Florence for an unforgettable stay!

Quiet stay with magnificent views of the village of Cavagnac. Dominique welcomed us very well and perfectly informed us about the beautiful villages to visit and walks to do. We followed all his recommendations and had a lovely week. Thank you Dominique.

Accommodation in a very peaceful and quiet environment. The house has a lot of charm, and the heated pool without vis-à-vis is very nice. The house was very clean as well as linens. Self check-in and checkout, which went very well. If you have any questions, Emmanuel is very responsive. Only small downside, for a house intended for 6 people alone 3 glasses on foot and the room in the living room is not intended for 6 people. Otherwise, the rest is perfect!

Great week at Anne-Marie's who takes great care of her tenants! What kindness and availability! We really enjoyed the cottage with a beautiful pool and a superb view of the valley! We will never thank Anne-Marie enough for her good tips and ideas for visits!

A great location, shops and historic city center 5 minutes walk along the Dordogne. Very well located modern residence, cozy and very functional rental, well represented by the photos of the listing. My parents booked a night they were just delighted. Quality of accommodation, services, warm welcome, very good meal. They often come to visit me in Brittany and make a short one-night stop on their way they will come back for sure. we are very satisfied with our stay , except that we had to leave a day earlier notifying the owners because I had health problems and I had to come back soon to see my doctor in the seine maritime. carol and gerard were sorry for us but I had no choice. we hope one day go back but we will warn friends who could go there one day. thank you again to the very friendly owners. didier and bernadette
