Vacation rentals with a kayak in Lake Sammamish

This is our third reservation. Jia was a fantastic host. She went out of her way to assure that we had a very pleasant and relaxing time! We would highly recommend staying here.

Grateful for another pleasant stay at Joan’s… always seasonally and tastefully decorated, with ample space & sleep options. Living area on one floor is very accommodating to our needs. Water & mountain views nearby make it a desirable location for us. Flexibility with check-in is very much appreciated. We look forward to our next visit!

Absolutely beautiful views from this waterfront home. Plenty of room for our family of 5 plus Nana to spread out enjoying indoor/outdoor living. Well appointed including fun water toys ie paddle boards and kayaks. My husband commented this home being the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. Excellent communication from Mike and Eva. Definitely would stay here again.

The Groovy Lagoon house was a fabulous place to stay. We took advantage of how close it is to Gig Harbor and went there for several delicious restaurant visits. We had beautiful weather for March and enjoyed the views and a quick kayak outing. It was very comfortable and cozy, so it was the perfect place to relax. We hope to stay again!

We had a nice stay at Michael’s place, we enjoyed the river and garden and how much he put into his outdoor space. The home was clean and well kept. He had lots of recommendations for the river area and we appreciated that.

The location is unmatched! The house feels like a home, with everything you could need! Highly recommend!

This house has been remodelled by those with excellent taste! It was all perfect and as pictured. The one drawback with the space is the smallish common area but if the weather had been warmer, we would’ve transitioned outside. Fun mugs for coffee!! We ate on Friday at Island Nosh; DO NOT MISS IT if you are there Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, 2-7pm. Oh and there are eagles in a tree aways down the beach!

Beautiful location and nicely updated home! Our trip was for attending a celebration of life. This home was peaceful, serene, private and provided a comfortable place to clock out for each day and relax. Early morning coffee was much enjoyed while watching the sunrise through the many windows and unblocked views of the water. I’m a huge fan of natural light, and this was IT! The sky lights, many windows, beautiful. Would definitely book this place again.

Very beautiful cottage on the lake. Loved the view and peaceful surroundings. Stayed 5 nights and we enjoyed every minute. Thanks so much for letting us spend our Christmas at such a wonderful place.

Cozy private place to escape. Serene views of the bay. Erica’s instructions were clear concise and complete. We wanted for nothing. Valentine’s Day dinner was easily prepared with the well equipped and stocked kitchen. We will return in the summer.

We had a wonderful stay on the lake and would love to come back any time! We were so delighted by our first few nights that we inquired about extending our stay. A beautiful spot to unplug and unwind.

Very peaceful cottage to relax and enjoy everything the PNW has to offer. With beautiful views of the Puget Sound and ferries coming and going all day, the cottage was exactly as deceived and depicted on the listing. Although small, Stephen and Kelsey take full advantage of the entire space. The only negative I would say is you have to park up the hill and walk down to the cottage, but there is a little pullout to park and drop your stuff before you do that. Otherwise, I would highly recommend to anyone needing a little getaway from the bustle of real life.

This was one of those rare places where the photos did a great job showing what you get, AND it was even better than what I expected. Every inch of space was clean, light, and cozy. The decor wasn’t just superficial for photos but created a restful atmosphere with lots of functional touches. We enjoyed the fireplace, the very well stocked kitchen, and the hot tub, which was already hot and ready for use. Other details like the multiple spray heads in the shower, and super soft linens on an incredibly comfortable mattress ensured restful nights. The studio was a real bonus as a fun place to work on a sewing project. Best of all was the view! We spent hours watching birds and boats pass by (and one curious seal who poked his head up a few times). We woke up and fell asleep to the constant shifting beauty of this view and never tired of it. This was the perfect cozy getaway for midwinter break, and I hope we can return to enjoy this spot again in the summer!

Jennifer’s cottage was incredible! Located in a very peaceful neighborhood, it was quiet and serene. The view of the lake was wonderful to wake up to. We had everything we needed for full comfort, including the grill and hot tub! I stayed here in February and enjoyed it very much with the light snow. I will definitely be looking to stay again when the weather gets warm. Jennifer was super responsive and clear about instructions, too. This cabin has everything you need 😊

We enjoyed our stay. It was peaceful and perfect. The house was well appointed with anything we could need. Melissa also thoughtfully decorated for the season. It felt welcoming and warm from the moment we arrived. We enjoyed exploring the local area but really enjoyed coming back to the home. Looking forward to renting this place again.

So cute! Great to hang out it! The upstairs bunk bed is small on the top but works out find for my shorter friend. The stairs are narrow and tricky and I would avoid them with little kids. For older kids and adults it’s super cute and picturesque. Super cute vibe. 5/5 on the coffee situation with a grinder, great machine and Olympia Coffee provided! Would love to come back!

This is probably my favorite Airbnb of all time. The cabins were pristine and luxurious, and the lake was so calming. We enjoyed visiting with the chickens, picking fresh apples, kayaking, and lounging on the porch. So good to get away and relax! Communication with Aaron was easy and friendly. I am definitely bookmarking this wonderful place and will return in the future.

Perfect for our Multigenerational group! Space to spread out but also room to be together. There was a generous amount of things like towels, cozy throw blankets, and dishes. Well stocked kitchen and lots of games. It’s clear this is a family house, not a sterile air BNB. We loved it. I recommend bringing slippers as the game room floor was cold and they ask you not to wear shoes. Maybe slides for going out to the hot tub. And I did wish for binoculars because there were lots of waterfowl on the lake but it was fun to watch them anyway. The train is loud and close, but it wasn’t a big deal and it was super quiet otherwise.

Our family of three loved this place. It was the perfect place to stay for our Thanksgiving Holiday. The "cabin" was so cozy. It had a wood burning stove which we took full advantage and beautiful lake views from the living room and primary room. Also, (and a must for me), the house is as photographed and described - completely renovated - with an open and airy layout. As noted by another reviewer, the kitchen is small but mighty, well stocked and has separate zones for cooking and coffee. For example, it had a rolling pin, which was perfect for making Christmas cookies. The location was also perfect for us. It was close to the ferry and to many beautiful parks. I would definitely recommend staying here and we would stay here again.

Beautiful spot at water's edge (depending on the tides!) Wonderful hot tub placement for views and bird/wildlife watching! We enjoyed it even in pouring rain with our cap hats on! Samah promptly answered any questions. Just a 5 minute drive to Penrose point State Park where we got a few miles walking the trails but otherwise stayed put at the place reading, talking, enjoying hot tub and views. Really appreciate they made the deck work for the gorgeous huge tree. Fabulous kitchen and nice coffee station with high end appliances. Loved the round window! And didn't use fireplace but it's pretty to look at. Note that if people will be sleeping in living room they'll want eye masks- no window coverings (and that couch is the biggest seating - we were glad we fit into bedrooms), and everyone might want ear plugs-- the wooden spiral staircase is really beautiful but also pretty noisy. Be sure to read info sheet on wall near bottom of stairs as you come in! Would stay again.

My son, daughter-in-law, and their 3 & 1 year old kiddos loved it so much they hoped to add another night to their stay, but (no surprise) this gem was already booked. They will definitely stay here again. Highlights were the comfort & coziness of the cabin and the beautiful surroundings. The also appreciated how responsive the host was with any questions.

We loved staying at Ferry Cove and hope to book the house again in the future. Brooke has clearly put in lots of love, time, and energy into making her home very special. It’s clear that every detail was carefully considered and selected. You feel like you are in a very loved home that has brought many families joy and sweet memories. Whether it’s a sunny day out on the beach or a rainy day spent in the ferry basement, or you’re up early with a baby and just get to enjoy watching the ferries come and go, there’s lots of fun to have without even getting in the car. We also walked to the small park at the end of the road and walked up to Madrona Supply. There’s also several restaurants, coffee establishments, and a market that are walking distance. The house is a short drive from multiple playgrounds and other towns, so we easily popped around Southern Whidbey while navigating nap schedules for young kiddos (ages ranged from 5mo - 4yo in our group). 110% recommend!!
