Vacation rentals with a firepit in Lake Lanier

My friends and I have stayed at Glenn’s twice a year for the last 5 years. We keep coming back because it is perfect for our needs. There plenty of bedrooms and beds, it is well furnished, it is easy driving distance to restaurants and attractions and there is plenty of space for 4 or 5 (or more) of us. It was really cold all week so we really did not want to get out. We stayed warm and comfortable in the house and we had everything we needed to prepare meals there. We plan to be back in the summer. Glenn is super easy to work with.

Normally I don’t leave reviews. I’m usually tired from the trip and am focusing on unpacking and resting but I wanted to take the time to say how beautiful the views are, how prime the location is- it’s close enough to Helen to go if you want but far enough away to be away from all the traffic in and out of Helen- especially at Christmas. If we needed our host he always responded and luckily we got to meet him and our entire family adored him. The deer we were able to see from the house were beautiful, our family enjoyed the pool table and the hot tub but mostly the atmosphere. We felt like we were home. We like to stay at different locations everywhere we go and with a host this amazing- we will be booking all of his other locations when we travel- one by one because he prides himself on making sure that everything is up to your standards and that you get the best experience. I highly recommend you stay here. It was our 1st Christmas with family away from home and couldn’t be happier.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! We loved it so much, this was our 2nd stay. Group of 13 friends just hanging out for the weekend. Things that stand out include the absolutely pristine bathrooms and the fully stocked kitchen. All the pans, utensils, cutting boards, baking pans, etc. you need. Lots of places I've been to don't have things like measuring cups but they have everything. When we had questions, response was fast. Nice common area for everyone to hang out in. Just a great place.

Beautiful home to stay in. Our hosts were so friendly and even messaged the morning of our arrival to say we could check in anytime. That was so appreciated! Directions were great, getting into the home was a breeze. No issues at all. The home was so clean and had everything we needed for our short stay. Wonderful area and so close to Piedmont College. We were actually able to walk back and forth from the softball field. The bed was so comfortable. Great water pressure in the shower. An absolute beautiful fire pit area out back, I wish our stay was longer so we could have enjoyed a bonfire one evening. We would definitely come back here and would highly recommend Ally and Brads place! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Josh's place is beautiful and very spacious. We had way more room than what we needed but took advantage of the extra space. Can't get any better than having a fire in the fire pit going while listening to the creek run behind us. It feels secluded but so close to town. We will definitely keep this place as a must rent when we visit again.

The house was amazing! My family loved it and it truly felt like home, it was clean when we arrived and all the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The downstairs area was enjoyed by the entire family, especially the video game! Very Beautiful home and Tan was quick to respond and assist. Definitely recommend! ☺️

Very responsive host, amazing spacious house with gorgeous views! Kitchen had all appliances we needed. Outside patio had plenty of chairs and gas heater was a game changer!

What a great experience everything was very nice and in order…me and my kids felt right at home it was very comfortable and gave relaxation….will definitely be booking again…..

We enjoyed our stay very much! Loved staying on an active farm, with all the animals running about. Meghan and kids were a delight. They made sure we were comfortable and gave us good recommendations for local eats/drinks. Also loved that we were able to make coffee and eggs in the morning on the stove. I didn't quite realize that the full bathroom was outside, down the stairs. Perhaps I missed reading that? It's a cold walk in the dead of winter! (Bathroom itself was warmed well by a space heater.) Overall lovely place!

This is our second stay at Tom and Christine’s place. They are great hosts and we will define back!

Very nice, and knowledgeable. Loved the eggs, and the fresh coffee. Worked outside on patio with my dogs, without any problem

My husband likes to explore and we couldn't have chosen a better spot for his birthday. We had plans to drive around to various nearby waterfalls (we made it to a couple) but the mill offered so much to discover, we didn't want to leave. We loved the waterfalls, history, and trails around the site. The bed was super comfy. It's definitely quirky, we were glad to not have a TV, etc. Groceries were close by as well as parks.

While it was a quick weekend getaway, this place made us wish our stay was longer. Super clean, had tons of amenities and was stocked full of all the household necessities, just like staying at a hotel. We got in late and were still able to find our way inside. The property was beautiful and the animals were darlings! The space is a great size as well. It was quiet, comfortable, and wasn’t too bad of a drive to/ from Atlanta and the surrounding areas. We very much enjoyed this stay and would recommend it again and to other couples.

We had a great weekend getaway! It was very quiet, yet not far from downtown (8 miles of I remember). There were two places to eat within 1/2 a mile. There was also a waterfall within g 4 miles from the cabin. Scott was very friendly!

This was one of my fav bnb’s the location is everything walkable, great restaurants, we drove once on our stay. Rose is the most amazing host. Responsive, accommodating, friendly, just a joy. Comfortable bed and surroundings.

This property is beautiful! It is the perfect getaway to relax and unwind.

John was very responsive and proactive with sending plenty of information before you arrive, making me feel at ease. The location is beautiful and the house is amazing. 10/10 would recommend to visit, even if it’s just for the weekend

The place was very cozy and quiet. I would have loved a more comfy couch and maybe some fresh scent when you walk into the cabin. It was overall a nice stay for a quiet getaway!

We loved our stay! A great cabin with a beautiful view and sound of the water. Cabin was clean and cozy and Sandy had such cute touches. She thought of everything!

This was the most serene vacation I have ever taken, even in the cold this cabin was so cozy and inviting. I could not stop staring at the view and loved going on walks through the neighborhood. I loved it so much I would go back in the summer time to float down the creek!

My husband and I had a wonderful time at the cabin, we went for a relaxing getaway, and we definitely had it. It’s well decorated, and very cozy. The hot tub was perfect with the cold weather. We used it multiple times. Karen and Bryan were very responsive and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable.
