Family-friendly vacation rentals in Lake County

This place was wonderful and perfectly suited for our stay! The directions and check in instructions were very easy to follow and the place was conveniently located so close to the lift! We definitely recommend this place to any group or family looking for a convenient ski stay in Breck!

Christine’s place was great for our group of six skiing for the week - kitchen with all you need, washer and dryer, heated pool, great location to both mountain and town. It made for a comfortable and easy stay. Thanks!

The house was everything we needed and the setting was beautiful! It was even decorated for Christmas. It also had a nice fenced in area for our dogs.

Fantastic hosts, very responsive, and helpful. Unit was extremely spacious, great layout, and fantastic kitchen. Only issue was the shuttle to the resort was unreliable. I’m guessing the holiday traffic combined with extra crowds due to Park City’s issues contributed to that. I can’t fault the owners for that. This place is great with wonderful hosts!

I completely fell in love with this cabin, the views where amazing, me and my family felt like home so peaceful and relaxed. We thought it would be a long ride to other towns like Breckenridge and Frisco but everything is close, plus we enjoyed the views on the road every single day. Definitely would love to go back!

This was our 3rd year staying at Mary and Alan’s place. Wonderful condo that is spacious, bright and near the slopes. We were comfortable and utilized the additional amenities right across from the building - hot tub, heater pool, and sauna. The kids used the sleds to slide behind the condo, which was an additional plus, as I was able to monitor them directly from the windows.

We had a fantastic Christmas at Jeremy’s place in Breckenridge. The apartment was even nicer than the photos, with a great location and a wonderfully cozy atmosphere. The kitchen exceeded our expectations, so we ended up using it more than anticipated. The layout was perfect for a family with teenagers, and the hot tub was a big hit with them!

Jimmy was an excellent host. He was very helpful and accommodating. The place was perfect and actually has now become my preferred area/place to stay. It’s literally a 5min walk to peak 9. Less lines than peak 8 and skipping the gondola line. The hot tub is about 75 yards away. Lots of people in it, but the 5 of us found a spot every time. The condo is 3 levels with the top level sleeping 3. That top bunk is next to a rafter so choose wisely but it did the job. No one felt cramped, and we all are thankful for the host and experience. I left something in the condo and he was nice enough to send it to me. I will for a fact use this place again.

Stayed here during a cold snap and our hosts were super helpful with the negative degree weather! We loved our stay and were thankful for the advice!

This charming, historic space can't be beat for location & convenience! We like to cook, and they had great pans, plenty of silverware, plates , and bowls (thanks for the French press too!) It is warm, petite, and cozy for two people for a short stay (complete with a great movie night!) and we would definitely come back.

Looked exactly like the pictures! We had a wonderful time in this space, everything was super clean too- we especially enjoyed the heated floors in the bathroom haha. Super close to downtown Leadville and there was more than enough space for the two of us. :)

We really enjoyed our stay in this charming house. While we were only a group of 4, we had local family and friends over multiple nights. The well equipped and spacious kitchen easily accommodated our needs as we cooked meals for 8-10 people. Homes in this neighborhood are spread out, so we never were bothered by neighbors. Short drive into downtown and less than 30 minutes to Copper mountain.

loved our stay in this little trailer! great option If you have dogs. Angelina left the trailer in a very quiet area that was close to turquoise lake. we spend most of our time away from the trailer or around the fire & would definitely reccomend this place to anyone who wants an excellent camping experience without the hassle.

The place was definitely cozy and I'd consider it for 1 or 2 people. Maybe 3 for summer activities. The yard is fenced in and this is an ideal place if you are travelling with a dog. I liked that the parking space was steps away from the front door.

This was one of the nicest stays I’ve ever had. I was at Dan’s cabin for 4.5 weeks, and it was just heavenly. I arrived when the Aspen were just budding and got to see them fully bloom. The cabin was fantastic. It was just my cat and me, so we had more than enough space. The bed was incredibly comfortable (I was grateful for that since I was staying so long). The bathrooms were great and the kitchen was SO well-equipped. My favorite part was all the windows. They were all huge and open—no coverings—so it felt like you were part of the outside with beautiful sights to see. The location was perfect for me—easy to do a number of day trips, but fantastic to come back to with privacy and serenity. Dan was always super-responsive! He had to come one night to move a huge Aspen tree from blocking the driveway to the cabin. He was always on call for questions. I feel so fortunate that Dan allowed me to stay. I hope to again next summer. It was the nicest time I’ve had in a long time.

Great access to Leadville, hiking, lakes, the train, the Mineral Belt trail etc. Genuine Victorian period home with all the charm and quirks that go along with that. Friendly host. We loved being there.

Everything about the house was exactly as described and had no hiccups. The house had an immense amount of furnishings and kitchenware to do anything you needed in the house.

We stayed at the place as a group of 4 friends for 6 days. Brian provided clear instructions and did everything possible to ensure we had best possible experience. There were a few issues in the condo (missing salt, scratched pans, not working cooking surface light, malfunctioning electric kettle), but once communicated to Brian, we got new pans and salt next morning. These things happen and what’s important is that the host does everything to fix it very quickly. Would stay there again!

Fantastic location for a Breck ski trip! The place was very clean and had everything we could have possibly needed. Super convenient, just a short 5 min walk in the mornings to the lift and you’re on the slopes! In the evenings, just another short 5 min walk and you are in dt breck. No complaints from anyone in our group, we all had a blast and would definitely stay again!

Great location in a quiet area that made it easy to relax. Very well stocked kitchen with pots and pans that were clean and not scratched. Garage parking was great during the subzero temperatures. Super convenient to Breck and all that Frisco has to offer. Would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable for our large group and Andrew has thought of everything for things you might need in hand! Great stay!

Daniel was super friendly and responsive. His home was cozy and welcoming. We loved to clubhouse with gym, hot tub, and pool. The shower in the bathroom attached to the master bedroom was wonderful. Would definitely come stay again!

I had an incredible time staying at Brandi’s place for a ski trip. It is literally a 5 min walk to Peak9s quicksilver chair. The space is small and cozy, but more than comfortable enough for 2-3 folks. The place included everything you would need to cook. Brandi was an incredible host, was easy to communicate without, and went out of her way to accommodate us in anyway. Would stay here again!

Our second time staying here and we loved it again. Sunny, views of the lake, close to the conference center and easy to get to the hills! Thanks!
