Private suite vacation rentals in Lake Como

The place was very clean, charming and as per description. We only spent 1 night there, the beds were comfortable, the breakfast kindly prepared by Anna was very nice. There is also a place to chill out outside. Anna and her husband are very kind. Would definitely recommend it.

We had a wonderful holiday here. The village is picturesquely located in the mountains, where you can hike in many directions from the house in the plant-rich nature. Unfortunately, however, you need the car for the nearest villages on the lake – also to the beach in Cannero or for shopping. Cycling is almost not possible From the (cool) balcony you look directly at the lake. The kitchen is😊 also well equipped; however, we have brought a few things (e.g. cutting boards) ourselves. Elena is a warm host who even invited us to her home and with whom you can arrange everything easily. (We have always communicated in Italian.😉) Also the neighbors are great and very helpful; they gave us vegetables from their garden... It is recommended to pack earropax and something againstbeaks (sting) that are extremely active around the lake in summer... The sliding doors are very audible and squeak partly. 😉 Otherwise, we loved it. The brochures and the like on site are also helpful for excursions and the like in the region.

What can I say about our trip to Varenna!!! This was one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited. It was January and the weather was perfect with sunny skies and spectacular views. We first booked Erika’s place in this listing however she got back to us immediately and said it was not available but offered us another room in the same location. We were not disappointed! Her husband brought us to the room and it was so amazing my husband even hugged and thanked him, lol!! Amazing hosts! Very clean and bed was so comfortable. Did not run out of hot water and had plenty of coffee for us each day. I will definitely book here again. The best food in the town was at their restaurant l’ Orso Cafe’ hostania. Best pasta! I know Varenna is not an Island but I felt that I was staying on one and kept saying how amazing this island was 🤦🏼‍♀️ Do not hesitate to book with Erika!

Milena's place was a great stay. I got familiar with the place due to staying for over 2 months. I am a 22 year old student and stayed here to commute to work in Switzerland. The location is absolutely fantastic and has a beautiful walk against the lake. The place itself has everything you need if your an easy traveler. There is no kitchen but I figured out ways to make meals. You have a mini fridge and a microwave! The place is cozy and the bed is very comfortable, the bathroom is very clean and convenient. The only inconvenience I would mention is the stairs might be difficult for some people and there is a beam by the bed so watch your head. Overall- Milena is so sweet and comes to your every aid. Easy to talk to and get along with. Hope in the future to reconnect with her or recommend her to friends/family traveling to stay for work or amusement :) Grazie Mille Milena :)

The little alleys of Ghiffa, overlooking Lake Maggiore, are already charming in themselves but we were also lucky enough to be able to access Michela's garden and it's a truly extraordinary place, with a view to delighting the heart. Otherwise, everything is clean and bright in the accommodation itself, which is therefore located below this garden and Michela's home and overlooks the alley. The whole area is interesting and the host will give you some great tips.

Anna's apartment met our expectations. We liked it very much, although we weren't at home due to the weather.

Very welcoming place with everything you need, clean and tidy. Great communication with Angela, a good starting point for various activities in the area.

Anna was very helpful and friendly. Accommodation was close to restaurants and the train station!

We stayed at Anna’s for one night before an early flight out of Malpensa. The location was unbeatable, 10min train from airport and a short walk to the train station. The space was very clean and modern. Anna was very friendly and thoughtful, even bringing croissants early in the morning. Following Anna’s recommendations we had a delicious dinner and enjoyed exploring the town :) Grazie Anna!

Anna was so sweet. She was amazing with helping me figure out how to get to her place from lake Como. The place was really nice. You can tell her and her husband have put a lot of time in creating this space. The common space outside was really nice and cute. It is a great place to relax. The area is really quiet which is amazing since I'm a light sleeper. It is also really spacious which i didn't expect. I would stay at this place again.

This is my second time staying with Eleonora and if I come back to the area I will not hesitate to contact her again. Everything is perfect and highly recommended 👍

A spectacular little cottage in the mountains, Leo was amazingly friendly and greeted us by the local restaurant with a glass of regional wine! Bring groceries- it is well-equipped with everything one might need for a humble mountain existence, but the last supermarket is a good 45 mins drive away. Loved the view, the remoteness and the genuine warmth with which we were welcomed to Tessin. Keep an eye out for the cycling trophies adorning the low exposed timber beamed ceilings - they belong to Leo's glory days!

Had a great stay at Cleto's! The place is extremely nice, we always had our meals in the garden. Everything is very easily accessible by car, and Cleto was super helpful and nice. Glad to come back!

Very nice stay in this apartment on the second floor of a beautiful mansion with its green island, located on the outskirts of an activity area and very close to the Gorgonzola metro station (a few minutes' walk). Apartment in good condition, tastefully renovated and quality materials, very well equipped (kitchen, bedding etc.). All comforts, and particularly appreciable air conditioning (heatwave and 38 degrees this August). Our 3 older teens slept well in the child's room, each with their own bed. The location is easier to reach by car, but we enjoyed taking the subway to get to the city. The station is frequently served, the metro oars are new and clean. Supermarkets close to the accommodation.

I really enjoyed staying at Guiliano's place. The location is great and the check in was easy and uncomplicated. I felt well taken care of, and Lula made me feel at home. Great view, great accommodation, individual and traditional and surrounded by greenery. Glad to come back!
