Lake house vacation rentals in Lake Anna

We stayed at Bethany's house with 10 adults/teens + kids for Thanksgiving. The house was very comfortable for that size. We were there for Thanksgiving and generally had what we needed for cooking (only three wine glasses though) and grocery only 10 minutes away. We loved having two spaces to hang out and the pool table was a hit. The bedrooms had decent curtains to sneak in some afternoon naps. The house is well furnished, the beds were comfortable and Bethany was super helpful with any questions.

We enjoyed our stay. House was clean and updated. The view of the lake from the house was beautiful and we enjoyed quiet mornings, having coffee on the dock.

Great place, lots of rooms, amazing view of the water. We loved sitting on the gazebo dock and watching the sunset!

A group of us stayed at Kate and Zack’s lovely house on Lake Anna this weekend as we had a nearby trail race. Beautiful house!! So spacious, so comfortable, gorgeous views, loved the fully-screened porch, even in the winter! We finished one of the puzzles PLUS one we brought (left it for future guests!) Loved our stay - thank you so much!!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb for our family Christmas get together. The home was super cozy, clean, and spacious, providing the perfect setting for our family to eat, play games, relax, and create memories. It was easy to feel right at home, and there was plenty of room for everyone to enjoy each other's company. The living rooms were comfortable, and the kitchen was perfect for preparing and serving our large meals. Even though it’s winter time, the backyard and lake were still a beautiful setting for group photos. We can’t wait to come back in the summer to fully enjoy it! Andy was also very communicative and provided clear guidance. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate Christmas with our loved ones! Highly recommend for family gatherings.

Tracy was very welcoming, informative and accommodating. She was very available if we had any concerns. We were planning a boat trip on the lake and she helped coordinate a boat rental that led to a lovely day on the water. Her mom is cozy and tidy and we felt very comfortable there.

Great place for a fall get away girls weekend! Beautiful location with views of the lake from every room! We enjoyed the screened in porch in the morning and the fire pit in the evening. Ashley was quick to respond to me and offered suggestions when I inquired. House is well equipped, they've thought of everything!

The home was exceptionally easy to access and the location on the lake was beautiful. Chad was an excellent host. The home is away from hustle and bustle of Fredericksburg but close enough to get out and enjoy plenty of restaurants and shopping

We live locally but had family coming from out of state and needed more space to accommodate. This offered everything we needed and was much more spacious than expected. The deck set up is great as we had rain some of the trip so could still enjoy outside in the covered section without having to get soaked. Will definitely consider booking again when family visits!

I would rate this house a 5 out of 5. The house looked just like the pictures . It was very clean . The host was very responsive, she was great. My family enjoyed the fire place located on the side of the house . There appeared to be a spider issue in the house . We saw a couple and had to kill them. The shower in the basement was very small. Besides that my family and I had a great blended thanksgiving and would definitely rent again . Thank you for everything Angela !!!

Joie and Mike have thought of everything a family could need while vacationing at Lake Anna. We had a great time there! It’s rare to find an AirBNB with 2 king bedrooms and this helped us easily accommodate our large family. We were even able to include our dogs who also really enjoyed their vacation! Highly recommend a stay here!

Nice cabin in private neighborhood, great Host

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at the Dog Days house for a long weekend. We brought two dogs with us and it was perfectly set up to accommodate dogs. The dogs especially enjoyed the large fenced-in yard in which to run around. The neighborhood was quiet and perfect for a chill weekend. The house was super cute and felt like a home away from home. The hosts were great with communication from the time of booking, always giving us all the information we needed with plenty of time and making sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend checking this one out if you are in the area.

The property was very welcoming and perfectly cleaned. The house was furnished with everything we needed for a weekend with friends. Kitchen had all of the needed equipment and tools. There were more than enough linens for us all. The supplied toiletries and kitchen products were much appreciated. We appreciated the thought that went into setting up this home for guests. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The next door neighbors were friendly as were their dogs. It’s hard to believe a home this clean is pet friendly, but we were appreciative to be able to bring our pets along for the trip. The owner communicated to us well in advance all of the instructions needed to access the home, door locks and WiFi. We would definitely stay here again!

Was a perfect place to host Thanksgiving for my kids, grands, and our pups! We had a fun and peaceful holiday. The grands enjoyed the yard games, roasting marshmallows, the hot tub, and seeing the many deer that frequently visited. Our pups enjoyed being included and appreciated all the toys and beds for them. We hope to return in the spring to enjoy the water! Communication, check in, and check out was a breeze. 5 star stay for sure!

I had a great stay, very peaceful, great views of the lake, the dock and outdoor areas were great. The house is very spacious and has every amenity you would need.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful property on Lake Anna. We had 4 young children and 3 adults for our trip. We had plenty of space in the home, and the beach area was perfect for our children to swim. In addition to swimming off the beach, we enjoyed boating, tubing, kayaking, and paddle boarding. It was so nice to have kayaks and paddle boards included on the property. When we weren’t outside we spent a lot of time on the screened-in porch. Evenings were spent down on the dock with a drink watching the sun go down on comfortable chairs. We enjoyed exploring the surrounding area as well. We ate at four different restaurants. Had no problem stocking up groceries at Food Lion and grabbing a few things when needed from Dollar General. The surrounding wildlife was big plus. We saw some cool birds and saw deer going across the property at dusk. It was our first trip to Lake Anna but won’t be our last.

Derek & Nathan are super hosts! Both hosts are extremely communicative, accommodating, proactive, flexible, professional, and understanding. Our group of 8 was worried of the possibility the snowy weather would affect our travel dates but our hosts took the time out to shovel clearing the exterior prior to our arrival and even providing us with snow materials such as shovels, salt, etc. just in case we needed it. The images didn’t do the interior enough justice either! The home was beautiful, peaceful, quiet, cozy and extremely spacious. For shopping I would recommend doing it early since there is only Food Lion & Dollar General as grocery options but there is an ABC store close by as well if you are into spirits. We will 100% return if our group ever prepares to stay in Mineral again. Thank you both once again.

We had a great stay at the Blue House and can’t recommend it enough for your next trip to Lake Anna! The house was well-equipped, clean, and the host was flexible and accommodating with our check-in/out times. The property has beautiful, waterfront views and is located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. We would definitely stay again!

I visited Lake Anna with a group of friends for a relaxing weekend and that’s exactly what we got! The house was beautiful and spotless and just a few minutes walk from the Lake. My group had so much fun playing foosball and cooking in the kitchen. I would highly recommend and will hopefully be returning soon!

What a wonderful and spacious home! We had an amazing time over New Years with all the games (especially the Nintendo arcade) and the time by the water. We can’t wait to come back again in the summer!

The house was the perfect size for our larger group. We could all spend time together or have time apart without disturbing each other. There were plenty of bathrooms that were very clean. The bedrooms were comfortable. We really enjoyed the karaoke machine, large projector screen, and the kayaks. The open kitchen and bar was great for us all to hang out while cooking dinner. The kitchen was also well stocked with spices, a coffee maker, and plenty of pots, pans, and knives. We will definitely be back next year!
