Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Lagos

Wonderful place, like feeling at home , the apartments are equipped with everything , even the first basic things to cook , upon our arrival they made us find water and cheese cookies and made us taste the homemade bread by them , they have a garden where we could collect fresh tomatoes and figs directly from the tree , also available umbrella and small beach chairs for the beach . Great tips from Carla for visiting beaches and great recommended restaurants.

Villa Algarve is very nice and spacious: from a great coffee machine, sharp knives and sweet toys to very comfortable beds, it was equipped with everything your heart desires, and the walk to the beautiful beach was only a few minutes away, so we felt very comfortable as an extended family with 4 generations. Many thanks to Jana and Vitek, who welcomed us very warmly and were incredibly accommodating and helpful with all our questions and solved problems immediately. It was a really nice time in your house, we will be happy to come back.

We were welcomed by Anna. She was very friendly and full of information that was helpful to us. The villa is clean and beautiful and was a great home base for our traveling family of 5 adults. We all had plenty of room and were comfortable. The beach and points of interest were nearby. The pool is a great spot to hang out and refresh yourself. We loved it and would definitely recommend it.

The villa is truly exceptional—no words can fully capture how impressive it is. Traveling with three kids, we found it incredibly convenient thanks to the abundance of space, multiple bathrooms, private pool, and private parking. The villa is impeccably equipped with everything you could possibly need, all of the highest quality. It was spotlessly clean upon arrival. The property’s location is ideal, being close to beaches, minimarkets, and the center of Lagos. The host was highly responsive and provided us with a detailed guide before our stay, including comprehensive instructions and a thorough description of the house. Thank you so much!

The house was just as described, and felt comfortable and welcoming. There was plenty of space for the three of us, and the courtyard at the back of the house was a real bonus. The location was excellent, being just a five minute walk into the old town. The ensuite bathroom for the second bedroom worked really well, and all things needed were provided.

We really enjoyed our stay, the place was perfectly situated near Lagos and Luz, with great access to the N125/A22 to easily explore the western/eastern Algarve. I can concur with the listing information that a car is required, the home has off street parking, with plenty of space for four cars. The facilities were good, pool large, covered and well maintained . Chris, Gaby & Co were kind, and made us feel welcome.

We enjoyed our stay in Lagos together with our son and daughter and their partners (young people in the age range 19 to 24 years). A perfect location in the old center of Lagos. Thanks to the three keys, everyone could go out and make it as late as they wanted. Great restaurants and nightlife within a 5 minute walk. We were mainly found at the Garden bar, Bon Vivant/ Rooftop cocktails and Karaokebar de Shaker. We made great use of our roof terrace and we felt free to move a lounge bed and some furniture from the inside out during our stay. We cooked a lot of fresh soup after Joseph (at our request) purchased a blender. There is also a huge fridge/ freezer combination in the kitchen. The catamaran - kayak tour of Discovery Tour (departure from the port) is a great excursion. You go with the kayaks in various caves and afterwards you can still swim and dive off the Catamaran. One of the best Airbnb’s we’ve ever stayed at! This apartment is absolutely perfect for a family, couple, or even a solo traveller. My boyfriend and I took our moms on a trip and this Airbnb was the highlight of our time in Portugal. We actually looked forward to coming back to the apartment, cooking, watching movies, and relaxing. The beds are soo cozy, the shower water is super hot (we also never ran out), and the couches felt like clouds. If you see this apartment and don’t book it, you will be missing out! If we ever find ourselves back in the area we won’t hesitate to book this apartment. Susanna was so sweet and incredibly helpful, and Joao was very responsive and sent lots of local recommendations our way. We can’t say enough good things about this apartment! We try to book airbnbs owned and operated by locals and not big companies because we would rather support locals and not big conglomerates. Joao and Susanna deserve every single penny and five star review! Thank you so much

Inês & Jorge's apartment exceeded our expectations. Very cozy and well furnished by furnishings and utensils. Comfortable bed. Shower with great water flow. The condominium is also excellent for walks and with a swimming pool that in the summer will be something else. The garage in the basement of good size and with access to the apartment by elevator. Anyway, a great place to spend a few or many days.

We stayed with Elmar and Danny in mid-September 24. We liked the newly renovated accommodation very much, to highlight the location. The apartment is located just outside of Lagos, which makes it relatively quiet and yet you can still get to the old town very quickly, for example. A door on the terrace leads to a staircase and a path within max. 5 minutes to beautiful beach with a small beach bar and restaurant. Elmar and Danny were very likeable to us right away and provided us with tips for the region. With Danny we were in the neighboring village for snorkeling, it was just great. All in all, we felt super comfortable, we would come back at any time and can fully recommend the accommodation!

We had the most amazing month-long stay at this peaceful gem. The location is incredibly serene, perfect for anyone looking to relax and unwind, yet everything is easily accessible by car. Lagos is just a 13-minute drive away, which made exploring the area so convenient. And Luz.. It’s the coziest and most beautiful little town we’ve visited in Portugal. The home itself was perfect and had everything we needed for a long stay. The kitchen is fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals at home. Our house was cleaned every week, which was such a nice touch, and there was plenty of storage space throughout, so we always felt organized and comfortable. The beds are huge and pretty comfy, making it easy to rest after a day of exploring. Wifi was good, so a big plus for remote workers like us. One of the highlights was the outdoor space and swimming poool. The terrace is fantastic for lounging, and we used the grill several times for BBQs. Peaceful atmosphere, combined with friendly dog

Lovely properly conveniently located to our needs. Well equipped kitchen and very large balcony to enjoy the mid afternoon sun. Building is newer and modern. Lots of storage in this one!

Such a wonderful apartment. What a dream space, and location. 5 min walk to local supermarket & the beach .

The apartment itself is so lovely, very clean and great amenities. We were very comfortable and enjoyed the space. The host was also very helpful with recommendations and very prompt when answering our messages. It’s about a 15 min walk to the closest grocery store and 30 min walk into town. But very close to the beach, where there are 2 restaurants. It’s easy to get an uber if you didn’t want to walk into town. Overall we had a wonderful time and would stay here again!

Very spacious apartment with beautiful view of the pool and ocean. Was just a bit far from the city centre about 30 mins walking. I’d say location is 10/10 if you have a car! Walking I would stay in old town but the apartment itself was nice very comfortable bed

Excellent and well equipped. A few meters from the beach. It has free parking. We do not use the pool but it is very clean and with beautiful ocean views. Direct access to a very nice beach

We had a lovely time staying at the property. The apartment is modernly furnished and very clean. We didn't lack anything. Various popular beaches is within walking distance. The surrounding area is very quiet. It is advisable to have a car for activities.

Loved staying at this apartment. It was clean, walkable to the beach, cafes, local restaurants , and within a 10-20 minute drive to all the more hidden less touristy beaches. It was a perfect landing spot. To give A little context : we had to leave two Airbnbs prior to this because of terrible mold /dampness issues and it was a nice respite to finally find a healthy home. Thank you!
