Hotel vacation rentals in Kutchan, Abuta District

I had such an amazing time staying here! The staff (Chet, Sakura, Kyle, and Margarita) were so great they made me feel like family. The location is amazing, a five minute walk to the Annupuri ski lifts (Annupuri is a great place to stay, you can reach the other areas to ski them, but is a lot more relaxed). The blend of private room and shared common areas makes for a good balance of down time but hanging out with the other guests if you feel like it, and the other guests when I were staying were super cool I feel like I made some great friends and am looking forward to seeing them again next year hopefully! The lodge is really clean, looks very cool, and it's also comfortable and well thought out. The skiing is also amazing, as expected! I would love to come back again one day!

This is a beautiful lodge. Was having a moment looking out from the window with snow falling. Truly a winter wonderland. The breakfast is good and staffs are very helpful. Great place to stay for ski lovers. Unfortunately, I came with my father and my baby. So, cannot ski.

Kazu is a very nice host and very timely reply, the room is quite affordable, and the traffic to city centre is also convenient. However without having a AC, you have to keep the ventilator on during the summer night, which is a bit of noisy .

An absolutely phenomenonal stay was had. The twin room had amazing views of the moiwa ski slope, was very cozy and clean. Dirk was a legend and very helpful in assisting us and also driving the free lodge shuttle back and forth. Lodge had fantastic facilities for its price, with the included breakfast, upstairs bar + pool table, and ski drying rooms. A very memorable trip - highly recommended!

I can't say enough great things about Lodge 401 without people thinking I am on Rhys' payroll. This is the perfect spot for a comfortable, convenient, and mellow vacation. Complimentary hot and cold breakfast cooked fresh every morning by a professional chef? Check. Close proximity to the hill? Check. 50 yard walk to Annupuri base/shuttle access. Onsen 5 minutes away? Cool bar with draft Japanese beer and nice liquor selection? Apres ski with interesting people from around the world? Check. Check. Check. They also have a heated gear room and super hot water with great water pressure. These things matter. I really enjoyed the down-home feel. Can't wait to go back. Lodge 401 was the perfect place to stay in Annupuri. The location was perfect for ski on/off and the team was so helpful in setting us up with rentals, transportation, ski passes, and findings spots for dinner. Would definitely stay here again!

Such a lovely lodge, right next to the Annupuri Ski Resort. We loved it and would absolutely stay again.

The host, Hiroko-san, is the kindest and most hands-on airbnb host I’ve ever met. She personally fetched us from the bus stop and brought us back to the bus stop during our departure date. She’s VERY accommodating and will really help you with all your needs and answer all your questions. She even brought us in front of her house to go snow sliding which made our experience more memorable. My mom and I are forever grateful to the kindness and effort that Hiroko-san has poured into everything. She went above and beyond of what we usually expect from an airbnb host. I had an amazing stay. The bus station is just next to the Hostel, very practical, and you can also walk towar the center. The Onsen is so nice and the hostel space too.
