Celebrating New Year's Eve here, far from the banging of the fireworks and with a plot where the dogs can run free, is like stepping into a quiet and cozy bubble. The crackling sound from the fireplace, the crackling heat after a long walk, and the endlessly beautiful starry sky – all this makes the experience absolutely unforgettable. So if you want to replace glitter and glamour with nature and proximity, this is the place for you. It's not perfection, but it's real – and that's exactly what makes it perfect.

Feels line home - a place to return to.

Josefine has a very nice and comfortable home. We felt directly comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped so great meals can be prepared. Also we can highly recommend the grill. We were most in the kitchen and in this beautiful conservatory. From the conservatory, you have a breathtaking view of the river connecting the two lakes. We were also able to use the garden or jetty on sunny days, as we unpacked our SUPs directly here. Our cat particularly enjoyed the quiet surroundings. According to his GPS, he explored almost all Nälden in our short stay - that really speaks for the tranquil surroundings. We were really comfortable and regret that we had to leave so quickly. If we were to be around again and the beautiful house on the river was free, we would love to come back. Thanks for the wonderful stay. Janine&Dennis

An absolutely amazing property! The pictures do not do it justice. Quiet and comfortable at the same time as it is not far into Östersund! Highly recommended!

Simple and straightforward. It was finished heated when we arrived. Used the cabin for hunting. Nice for its use and cheap

We spent 5 nights at Elin's home and we had a nice time. The annex at the back is inviting and you can sit there to play, draw or eat a game, for example. There are 4 bedrooms with all double beds. Two bedrooms are located downstairs, where there is also an extra bathroom and toilet. Also here are the washing machine and dryer. The kitchen has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The house is clean, tidy and super cozily furnished. We'll be happy to come back.

We had a great stay! Everything was as described and we took firewood with us so we could use the sauna which was also great. Only possible problem is that the beds were very squeaky, so could be difficult to sleep well but we only stayed one night and was not a problem for us. Thanks for the nice stay!😊

Top notch! No host has made us feel such a strong welcome! Really felt at home., they were very keen for us to have the best possible time. Super fresh and clean. I was a little late booking but they quickly arranged for us to come the next day. PLUS PLUS PLUS, Helena's guy is a chef and when we arrived they had filled the fridge with such good lunch boxes that patches on the wounds for not being able to check in the day before! Could have moved in today! Thanks to you guys! 🙏☺️

A really beautiful lodge with all comforts right by the lake and lots of possibilities for oudoor activities in summer and winter.

It is the second time we have the privilege to stay in Bettina's nice cabin. It's a magic place that gives peace of mind. Sitting in the cabin and reading and burning in the fireplace is incredibly cozy. Then getting to eat Bettina's dinner and breakfast is better than any 5 star restaurant. Everything is cooked and served with love and warmth. It is easily worth a little detour to drive to this gem if you are around. We'll be more than happy to come again🙏🏼❤️

For us it was great place to stay while "on the road". private, quiet and very peaceful. Fredrik was fast to reply and We could come in even he wasnt home. nice place to relax and have a good sleep. Would stay again for sure.

Great cottage in a magical location

Very nice stay. Old log cabin with a lot of charm in a meadow and views. Good value for money. What you should remember is that you need to bring your bed linen, otherwise it is available for rent on site.

Great location, great place to stay! Christer responded immediately and provided a solution when we had problems with the slippery hiking trails! Definitely recommended for anyone who wants to sit nicely and quietly. Absolutely worth it!!

Wonderful place, with wonderful hosts! I really felt at home, was well taken care of. It was like coming to a beautiful fairyland, with the coziest cottage. I'll be back here again for sure! (Already longing)

We had a wonderful time at Mats's place. The house has exceeded our expectations and the location is stunning. We were lucky enough to see the aurora lights directly from the dock and above the house. It was so nice and cold and the snow was perfect. Shopping is right in the village or 15 minutes away. There you get everything that is needed. Here we were able to spend super relaxed and without a cheeky New Year's Eve. The sauna has a fantastic view over the lake, like a painting. We'll be back for sure. Maybe even in summer or fall. Thanks to Mats and his family and all the best for 2025!

We had an amazing Easter holiday break in Marinca's cottage. They welcomed us in the home warmly, suggested local touristic activities. The house is simply beautiful kitchenware was quite complete for anything. There were too much snow at this time of the year, so hottub and sauna were so much fun! They work with wood fire; costing more effort to run but quite enjoying as it gives the old style feeling!

We had the perfect winter vacation at Frank and Monis place. Lots of snow! Frank and Moni are super nice and friendly :-)

A clean, spacious house with a well supplied kitchen. Beautiful view toward the river. We really appreciate that Jennifer was very responsive even when she had a major family crisis at home.

It was one of the most beautiful vacations we've ever had and it's the sweetest passion hosts we've ever had. A great place to stay, well maintained, nicely decorated, everything you need. We were there in winter and the fireplace warmed up, easy to use. Everything was well prepared for us. The cabin is in a beautiful environment, is super quiet, we were able to take beautiful walks in the winter landscape and on the frozen lake. You can do and enjoy a lot, such as snowmobiling, dog sledding, snowshoeing and other winter outdoor activities. We were also able to experience sauna, hot tub and, how wonderful, the reindeer cuddling and feeding. Highly recommended. Unfortunately, we were only there for a few days.
