Clare was very friendly, helpful & always quickly responded to my messages. Great location : we ( inc dogs ) loved the morning & evening beach walk. When visiting Nelson Bay we will stay again at Clair’s ☺️

We had a lovely stay, the place is so clean and tidy, exactly how it looked in the photos. Lynn made sure we are comfortable during our stay. Location is perfect, near the town proper. Our fur baby 🦮enjoyed his walks too. Highly recommended. Thanks Lynn, we had a great time ☺️

Beautiful place, great location and walking distance to the shops and the beach. Very responsive and accommodating - especially with 2 young children.

The house is stunning, welcoming and comfortable, plenty of room for the family to spend a couple quality days together.

Really lovely home and absolutely dog friendly! So grateful for the fully enclosed backyard and even front yard. It gave me a lot of peace of mind. We had the loviest visit there and appreciated so much all the extras in the kitchen - we were right at home!

Had a lovely long weekend in Cessnock for my birthday. The house was perfect for the 6 of us; great garden, everything you need in the kitchen, spacious bedrooms. Mark and Perry were responsive and helpful, letting us check in earlier. Great spot to check out some of the vineyards

Wild Woods cabin amongst the trees and birds is a quiet and comfortable weekend escape. Perfect position away from the traffic yet close to the vineyards. We’ll be back!

Cute pool house cabana set in tropical Balinese hideaway. The plants and ferns are stunning! Great garden shower available to rinse off the beach before entering. Comfortable bed. Take own hair towels if you wear it long. Breakfast, milk, wine and beer generously provided. Fabulous location and pet friendly, lovely neighbourhood. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay at Jay and Rod’s property. The location is perfect, such easy access to the best parts of the Nelson Bay/Shoal Bay area. The townhouse is very comfortable and spacious. We really loved the private pool in the community area. We highly recommend this property.

What a beautiful home. Beautifully furnished and presented. Kitchen had plenty of utensils and china. Lovely and clean. We had breakfast on the verandah and listened to the birds. It was very peaceful. Enjoyed the pool which was well maintained and the pool table was fun. Highly recommend.

Victoria‘s place was perfect for a girls weekend out of town. Lovely balcony with a view of the water. A bedroom each. A well appointed kitchen and very comfortable lounge room. Very close to all the restaurants and cafes at Ettalong and Umina.

Our stay at Sascha’s Retreat was fantastic! An absolutely amazing property with so much to do that you don’t ever need to leave. It is in a beautiful and private location with views as far as the eye can see, and has everything you need for an action-packed weekend or a peaceful getaway. Stephen was a brilliant host, extremely responsive to any queries, super friendly and helpful. We will most definitely be returning and highly recommend Sascha’s Retreat.

Vanessa place was paradise. The grounds are gorgeous, the pool and hot tub are relaxing. The house it self is beautiful inside and out. It is very comfortable. Vanessa is the hostess with the mostess. Our family of 4 adults and 6 kids could spread out comfortably and have some adult time. The pool area as a great BBQ, & there is great under cover parking. We would recommend Vanessa place to the who are looking for that extra special getaway. We loved it! ….and Vanessa. :)

Our stay at Karen's property was fabulous, just the right peaceful mini break that we so needed. The whole property is beautiful, peaceful, and well looked after, you can even have a few shots of golf. We all loved the pool such a nice added Bonus, we were there every day after going to the beach (or even before some days haha), it's lovely at night with the lights. The guest house is exactly as per the photos in the ad, actually, it feels a bigger space than the photos. The kitchen is well stocked to do some cooking if needed. Our 8 yo boy loved spending time with Zoey (their dog), who is just gorgeous and has such a lovely nature, he also really enjoyed being in charge of feeding the chickens and checking for eggs :-). Karen and Richard are lovely hosts, super accommodating and friendly but also respectful of your privacy, the perfect balance. It was a lovely stay and we hope we can be back soon, our son has already asked when we can go back. Thanks again Karen and Richard :-)

Roger’s place was in a prime location. Nice and quite but never more than a 10min drive to anything you’d want to do or check out in the area. Home was private, very clean and to the brim with amenities. Kitchen was well stocked as well as the fridge, bathroom was clean with all the toiletries. Beds were clean and fresh and the A/C was very nice on the hot days. Definitely would recommend to stay here.

My stay at this property was nothing short of incredible! The house itself is beautifully designed, immaculately clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The highlight without a doubt, was the pool. Crystal clear with pool noodles provided and the outdoor area was spacious with loungers and a BBQ. Inside, the house was tastefully decorated. The kitchen was fully stocked making it easy to prepare meals and the living space is comfortable and relaxing. The water pressure in the shower is strong and heats up quickly. The beds are comfortable and the towels provided were huge and fluffy and there was lots of them. The location was fantastic—peaceful, private & close to beaches. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed. They had a wonderful welcome pack in the fridge with awesome jams, chocolates and sparkling water. If you're looking for a dream getaway this is the place to be. Thank you Jess and Jonas

Another wonderful week of holiday relaxation at this Hawks Nest property. Our family of 4 plus dog have been back a number of times, and the property never disappoints. It’s a great spot, walkable to shops and beaches, yet secluded and private. The pool makes it a rare find.

Great spot for kids, we fed the horses, spent few hours on the trampoline. And highlight was the pool and the slide!

I just loved my stay at Yantra's place. I arrived there at the end of a long and busy trip, and it felt like I stepped into the most calm and tranquil space - which was just what I needed. I was also welcomed by kookaburras :) The house is cosy, welcoming, clean, and comfortable, and the gardens are gorgeous. I spent 1/2 a day just reading books Yantra's fantastic library, and equal time at the beach which is just a 5 minute walk. I've never been to Avoca before and its a real haven - lots of bush and wildlife, and a relaxed vibe. It doesn't feel at all like a lot of the other surrounding areas. I couldn't recommend Yantra's highly enough and look forward to going back.

A stunning tiny home with so many small thoughtful touches that made this experience unforgettable. The home is well equipped with everything you could possibly need and the towels and furnishings are of high quality and made us feel lush as we enjoyed the bush landscape. The home could have been brand new as the cleanliness was exceptional. The bed was fantastic (it’s an Emma/koala style) and we loved the windows with fly screens!!! The outside bath is a lot of fun and we gave it a go despite the rain we experienced our entire stay. Even though the rain kept us inside, we still managed the bush experience due to numerous windows and we didn’t feel ‘boxed in’ at all. Thank you for sharing your space with us, we can’t wait to come back!

Stayed over with my 2 toddlers. the unit is very spacious: they could almost run in the living room. Brian & Kris catered for a breakie, which saved me from having to take the car early in the morning. the place was very clean. As a host myself I know how challenging it can be, and it's a rating well deserved. They allowed for late check-out, which also saved the morning.
