Christian’s house is in a beautiful place not far from Oslo that you can reach easily by boat shuttle. It’s a very pleasant place very peaceful and quiet. It’s not a professionnal rental so you will feel like a real norvegian in a real house living. Christian was a perfect guest…very attentive and easily reachable by text. Nice stay

Sjusjøen probably has the best cross-country skiing in the entire World. I cannot say for sure - but if you are a Nordic enthusiast - it will be very difficult to beat this place. The reason that I chose it is because it is near the outer limit of Sjusjøen’s enormous trail network - and it is possible to ski up onto Hitfjellet quite easily from Aksjøen. The house itself is entirely free of clutter - and is adorable. It has a one person “library” room with a single chair and 4 windows - beautiful. Martin was always quick to respond to my questions - and was even fun to communicate with. Last thing - I spent 6 weeks here in the depth of winter - and I would be thrilled to return. It is too bad we cannot share photographs here!

Great stay with a great host who responded quickly and was flexible!

We stayed in this apartment for around 6 months during 2024 whilst working in Oslo for some time. The apartment is very nice and had everything we needed. The large balcony with sea view was definitely a special feature, especially during the longer summer evenings. Located in a very nice suburban neighbourhood of the city, close to public transport connections to the city centre, and shops, local town centre. Morten and Metere are excellent hosts, very friendly and more than happy to help us with everything we asked for!

Beautiful new house in beautiful surroundings. Everything was as described and the host was very helpful and responsive. It was a great place especially for cross country skiing as track was basically by house and ski bus stop is also close for slopes.

What a beautiful home. Marcus made us feel so welcome and he was the perfect host. The only thing that had us worried was the hill up to the property; if there was a lot of snow we would have had trouble. BUT we would definitely stay there again in the fall & spring months.

The cabin is very well-maintained and neat. Living room/kitchen is very spacious with plenty of space. Everything is well-functioning and Gøran is very quick to respond. The cabin is great for cross country skiing. The trail is very close and from there there is no road to the shovel track Sjusjøen-Nordseter (for the famous) and from here the whole area is just to walk to. In addition, there is a lube shop, where you can skate skis. We would love to come again.
