Cottage vacation rentals in Kilmun

Flew in from Toronto, Canada to this beautiful home away from home. Barbara, Graeme (and Rosie) were extremely hospitable and welcoming hosts. The cottage has everything you need. Lovely, comfortable linens and beds, clean and modern bathrooms, fully stocked kitchen, and great and private hot tub. The location is very rural, but easy to find with google maps. The town of Kilburnie is close by with a grocery store, gas station and pharmacy among other amenities.

Lovely house, great location. Perfect for a short getaway. Hot tub was a nice extra, although at this time of year it takes a while to heat up. Also ate at Mhor84 which was close by - great food. In all a fab break. Thanks.

Booked this last minute for my friends birthday and we are so glad we did!. Place was spotless and the host is so friendly she made us feel at home☺️ will definitely be back this is my second time here . Love it

We enjoyed our stay and would be pleased to go back. Handy location for popping into Glasgow and for Loch Lomond. The games hall was an extra we weren’t expecting

Gorgeous time away with family for New Year. Cottage very spacious as well as cosy and the views are spectacular.

Absolutely amazing place to stay. We made use of the hot tub on the evenings while the pooch roamed the enclosed garden. We enjoyed our stay so much and felt right at home - lots of extra touches for my partners birthday that made it so great. Ross also got back to me with food recommendations before we got there so I could book a meal. We would love to come back and see more castles 🏰

The accommodation was absolutely perfect for our needs. The house was beautiful and so well equipped. For our party of eight there was space for everyone and there was unanimous praise for the comfort of the beds in all the rooms. The location is amazing, being out in the countryside and yet so close to Glasgow's west end. Gordon was an impeccable host and so helpful when we accidentally locked the keys in the house.

Mitsubishi Heating System was interesting. The toilet seat needs to be adjusted for gentlemen having a pee. The bathroom door just clips the bath as it opens and needs a little shaving off the door. Just a few little things that I noticed being an Airbnb host myself. I am not being critical but trying to be helpful to mine host.

Perfect stay - so friendly and welcoming, went the extra mile and let me daughter see the animals on the farm. Nothing was too much Trouble. Will Definitely be going back in the summer.

Great little comfy and cosy cottage within walking distance of everything in and near Brodick. Ample living room space and nice kitchen / dining room. Ideal having the enclosed space out the back for our dog too. Would definitely recommend for your stay in Arran. Lorna was very helpful throughout.

We had a lovely week in Furnace. The cottage is very comfortable with stunning views across Loch Fyne and an extremely well-equipped kitchen. We enjoyed the pool table in the games room and the slate painting. We had some good walks in Crarae Woodland gardens and did the Leacainn Walk in Furnace. Caitlin was very helpful and communicative.

Have just spent a few days at Ashburn cottage & it was lovely. The cottage was very comfortable with everything you could need & had fabulous views of the loch & mountains. The weather was cold, crisp & sunny so was stunning, we did have a wee flurry of snow. Loved the log burner, so cosy!! Had a lovely meal at the Goil Inn & The Boat Shed cafe a definite for a visit! Will hope to be back again soon 👍

I had a fantastic stay at the wee cottage! It’s a beautiful location with stunning views. The cottage itself was cozy and comfortable and felt like home away from home.

We felt very much at home in this cosy, lovingly decorated cottage. Every practical need was taken care of, the heating system worked perfectly. We liked our meals at the big kitchen table and the quaint staircase leading up to the bedroom and bathroom. Personally, I found it hard to sleep because the mattress was worn out and very uncomfortable

Altquhur Byre was a perfectly charming little cottage. The kitchen was modern, spacious and well equipped. The living area was warm and cosy, especially with the fire going. My daughters slept on the sofa bed and found it very comfy. Bedroom was warm with a comfy bed. The bathroom had a powerful shower. The location was very peaceful and there are plenty of walks in the area. I would recommend a stay here and may even be back myself.

Comfiest, coziest, and friendliest stay in Scotland! The space is warm and inviting, especially with the wood burning stove crackling! It’s also one of the few places in Scotland we stayed at with a full kitchen, full bath, and a separate spacious living room. The community is charming and eclectic, we enjoyed the community garden and the short walk to town. The local pubs and butcher shop made us feel like we got a true taste of small town Scottish life. But the best part about our stay was Shona. She met us when we arrived with big hugs and a warm smile. She was very thorough, gives plenty of advice and options about everything local, and best of all she really cared about us and made us feel most welcome. Next time we’re staying here the whole trip!

Beautiful cottage which has been really thoughtfully designed. For a family of four it was perfect and the scenery is beyond breathtaking.

Our stay at Karibu cottage was everything we hope it would be. The cottage was clean, cozy and it had everything you could need and didn’t even think you needed. We have stayed in various Airbnbs and cottages and Karibu was the first self-catering accommodation to include everything you could need. We usually carry te, coffee (both instant and ground!), salt, pepper, oil because these are things we sometimes don’t find (and don’t expect to find) in our accommodation. But we were happily surprised to find them at Karibu. Jane has paid close attention to the small details. Like the little hand held lanterns in each bedroom, tissue boxes, plenty of hangers, I could go on. Travelling with a child, these little touches made our stay so much more comfortable. This Airbnb is one of our favorites. The location is great. You can drive up to multiple Lochs, sights, as well as being in the heart of a glen and surrounded by Scottish beauty. There is a fabulous back garden with chairs, there are sheep, deer and wilderness all around and it is great for hiking. The amenities are all working, well managed and explained, there is lots to do and many ideas are given by the host as well. The rooms are cosy with magnificent views, kitchen well equipped. Billy was fast to respond, flexible ( we inquired about an extra hour due to a zoom call we needed to take and he responded immediately with options) and it is clear that this Airbnb is well cared for. We will recommend and return. Thank you.

Lovely stay in an outstanding cottage. Beautiful and stylish though cosy with a great view and a great kitchen which has everything you need. Very clean and spacious. We were unlucky with the weather but sitting next to the fireplace warmed us up nicely. We were welcomed very friendly and helpfull. We had a delicous dinner in Killberry and a beautifull hike near Ardpatrick. Would love to come back with friends!

We really enjoyed our stay . The wood burning stove was a bonus and we loved how cozy the house was. Recommend buying additional logs - Heather has a supply there and a couple of extra bags kept us going. It is a beautiful part of the world and well worth a visit. We will be back

What a beautiful place and a lovely comfortable cottage. We stayed a week at the Garden Cottage. A great place to make all kind of day trips in the area. The cottage was very clean and well equipped. The 2 bedrooms each had a bathroom, perfect. Carola and James were incredibly friendly and super hosts. Information on nearby points of interest available and also books & DVDs. Definitely a place to recommend and go back to for another visit.
