Great weekend away for Valentine’s Day, close to Durham for a day out and very relaxing to come back and spend time in the hot tub, overall a great experience :)

A lovely lodge and wonderful dark skies… unfortunately we stayed during a snow storm and experienced a power cut which made things a bit tricky (lodge is entirely electric with no log burner or gas). Sara was really helpful and very communicative. I look forward to coming back at some point.

Really amazing place would highly recommend this place if anyone’s wanting a weekend away extremely private and really amazing views with the river right underneath the pods had a really amazing time on our stay 10/10

We stayed there Friday to Sunday and we actually booked it on the day (late decision!). The place was very clean and felt like at home. There were 2 bedrooms but we only used one. Very nice shower with hot water and hot tub didn't disappoint either! Mhari replied to my messaged within minutes and we had a really lovely stay! Only downside was that my partner is 6'4 and banged his head a few times while going to the bathroom 🙈 Other than that it was exactly what we needed and we would 100% come back! Thabk you!

Amazing break over Xmas. Nice little tree up and some lights. Very cosy. Great Xmas walk only 10 mins from the lodge. To Blake fell. Very picturesque. Very quiet with soothing sounds from the stream behind. Hot tub was nice after a day of walks.

Me and my partner had a wonderful stay at Pete’s cabin. It was lovely and peaceful. The hot tub was amazing. Pete was always on hand to help re heat the hot tub. The fresh eggs from the hens were a great addition and were very tasty! Overall it was an amazing stay and would highly recommend Pete’s cabin to anyone wanting a lovely peaceful get away!

Beautiful place, calm and well equipped. Perfect for a weekend away especially with children. I stayed here with a toddler and a baby on my own and it worked very well

It was a great location close to the A1. Very comfortable and relaxing lodge with lots of paths to walk the dog.

What an amazing place to stay So peaceful and quiet Within driving distance of shops What a lovely time we had for New Year Cracking log burner kept us warm, place was very clean and was like being at home Great WiFi for watching TV and gaming Rachel was lovely and their of we needed her. Highly recommended and will come again in the future Well worth the 4 hour drive from North Wales Even got some snow ❤️

My family and I had a great few nights staying here. The place is beautiful and my kids absolutely loved sleeping on the mezzanine. The lodge was immaculate and way more spacious than I anticipated. The views were amazing and the kids loved visiting the sheep and horses every morning. There was plenty to do close by too. Lucy provided us with information on places the visit in the area, along with a few restaurants that we went to and they were all great! We will definitely be returning with family in the summer. We had the best time!!

Fantastic, exactly as described. Lovely and toasty in the comfy bed (it was -1 outside). Very close to a great pub for tea and a kiosk (coffee and bacon butty) for breakfast. A great place to stay when doing the Cumbria Way.

Our stay was excellent. We loved every second of it. It was so peaceful and cozy. The area was beautiful and the walks were very relaxing. Our host was very kind and helpful. Is very dog friendly and our fur baby loved the garden and the space. We also had some gifts waiting for us which was very sweet. Will definitely be back!

We had a fantastic 3 nights here, despite the awful weather. The accommodation was superb, as was Sarah, the host. The place was spotless and had everything you might need. The park was lovely and quiet and great for morning walks with the dog. Sarah went above and beyond as a host, you could not ask for anything more. Overall thoroughly recommend here.

Two day break over New Year avoiding fireworks for the dog - this place is amazing - the huts are well situated and thoughtfully kitted out - the views are phenomenal - if your aim is to get back to nature - this is the place. On New Years Day the Dark Skies were amazing with both a myriad of stars as well as Northern Lights. Most importantly for us was the communication with the hosts - very helpful and very proactive - good practical advice and recommendations. Would highly recommend.

Had a wonderful stay as a returning guest at this Airbnb. The location is fantastic, with easy access to local attractions. The amenities provided were great, and the place was spotless clean upon arrival. Highly recommend!

A wonderful weekend away. Extremely peaceful and cosy. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and the log fire. A lovely little touch from our hosts to pre light the hot tub so it was warm on our arrival. Highly recommend this little patch of paradise. Many thanks for having us xx

Had a great peaceful stay at Highside Farm after a long trek. It was clean, had all amenities, and very welcoming. Sadly, we couldn’t do the barbecue we had planned due to high winds. Otherwise, we enjoyed the stay and the scenery.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was clean and well-equipped. The location has a beautiful view and was very quiet, yet close to both Innerleithen and Peebles. We would definitely stay again!
