Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Kerr County

Beautiful property and location! The pictures don’t do it justice. Absolutely recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful, romantic, private getaway. The outdoor living space is exceptional!! The home is well-appointed for a comfortable staycation. Charming local wineries/cafes/shops with easy driving access to bigger cities and state parks. A must visit (and early in your stay) is the Calming Waters Winery. They have a beautiful space, AMAZING wine and live music on weekends.

Tim’s place (Rio Bajo) was very delightful! We enjoyed sun bathing by the river, watching Tim’s bird feeder attract many cardinals and all sorts of beautiful birds, hot tub time, star glazing and so much more! Thank you Tim for sharing your beautiful place with us!🙂

The property is beautiful with panoramic views of the hills and canyons of the Edward’s Plateau. The driveway has a low water crossing across the Sabinal River, which was great for wading. Our trip was in January, so only the dog chose to swim. We got a light dusting of snow overnight, which was just beautiful on the hills. We made the short drive to Lost Maples for hiking. The house is charming and spacious. The living room had amazing views, as did the deck. My favorite part was the bird life. In the mornings and evenings the feeders were visited by a dozen cardinals and chickadees. We saw Mexican Jays, Black-capped Vireo, and even a couple types of Woodpeckers.

We really enjoyed our weekend getaway. The house was bigger than I expected. Kristen and her husband were super helpful when we ran into a little issue. But overall we had a great experience.

The house was the perfect size for our group of 9 and it looked exactly as pictured. The area itself was quiet and private with beautiful scenery away from the main part of town. I look forward to returning and highly recommend it 👌🏽

We had a great girls trip at Howell and Debbie’s beautiful homes on the river! We enjoyed the resort-style pool and hot tub. At night it’s pure magic when the lights come on! It was wonderful being able to escape for a few days and enjoy the beautiful scenery and amenities. Thank you for hosting us!

Our stay at cielo vista was amazing. House is beautiful just like the pictures with all the amenities one may need. Kitchen is stocked with anything you may need to cook any meal you may want. Rooms were beautifully decorated and beds were comfortable. Pool was clean and fun for our weekend stay. Note: 2 bedrooms are separated on the lower level with their own kitchen and living room which was ideal for privacy for multiple family stays. Views were beautiful and location was quiet yet convenient to grocery stores and restaurants no more than 10th a away . Would 100% recommend cielo vista.

This wonderful cabin truly delivered the perfect blend of rural tranquility and urban accessibility. When my aunt flew into town from Irvine for bluebonnet season, I wanted to find accommodations that would showcase the beauty of the area while still offering comfort and convenience - and this cabin exceeded all expectations. She loved it! The cats were precious and not in the way at all, perfect touch. Thank you very much Melissa for all your help! I’ll be back

I felt safe here. The sunset, nature, peace made up for any stress I had earlier that week. I felt so relaxed and homey. It was fantastic. Thank you.

I booked this place for my boyfriends birthday in Fredericksburg. The Airbnb was perfect and secluded. The views were amazing and the cabin was spacious. Jean gave us lots of local recommendations too. We will definitely be back as we felt our trip was too short 💕💕

Our family had a wonderful spring break at this beautiful home, located next to the Pedernales river. My kids caught loads of fish and enjoyed being out in nature. The home was clean and modern. Bring your white noise machines, because the highway is very loud. Other than that, it was perfection! The night skies were clear and starry, there is an HEB nearby, and it is a short 30 minutes to Enchanted Rock, with wineries even closer. We really enjoyed the pickleball court, too.

It’s a great secluded, peaceful, place! The had everything set up for you to use. The place was very clean and picturesque…definitely would stay there again. 10/10 highly recommend!

Live oak cabins were great but Ashley was perfect! She is very responsive to messages and was very kind to work with. The cabin was just what we were looking for, peaceful, clean, and relaxing! We will definitely stay again! And being able to walk right up the hill to The Top was the icing on the cake!

Absolutely gorgeous house, it’s simple but very comfortable. Beautiful views all day long from the porch or even just looking through the huge windows! So much wildlife and very private even with some houses around.

Such a great property, and our cabin was so comfortable, and had everything we needed. Living and kitchen area is spacious and open, very nice bathroom (awesome water pressure on the showerhead), and the bed was comfortable. Despite the outside temps having reached freezing during our stay, the bedroom kept nice and warm, the main area didn’t keep as warm though. The hot tub, perfect…and the view of the stars, amazing. We hadn’t seen this many stars at other parts of Texas that we have stayed at, and this was such a treat. We didn’t cook at the cabin, but the kitchen is spacious and comfortable for cooking for anyone who plans to. Overall, we couldn’t have picked a better property for the type of relaxing and outdoorsy getaway than Basecamp. We plan on coming back and checking out the other cabins and/or tents! Thank you all for sharing these gems! The property has an awesome lake for kayaking, a walking trail and other walking areas.
