Charming Garden Cottage in Karen

ShailjaRating, 5 stars75 months ago
Loved the many trees in the compound, and the privacy of the cottage. Peter was an excellent host, responding promptly to all my requests and concerns. Onsite manager, Helima, did a great job welcoming me, keeping the cottage clean and well-stocked, and being available for any problems. Be prepared for the neighbourhood noise, day and night - traffic, low-flying planes, jua kali workshops, amplified church services on Sundays.

Coastal Cottage

MaxRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This cottage was the most beautiful place to stay of our 5 week Kenya vacation. And in its entirety, the most beautiful thing I've ever been able to live in on my travels. The entire complex is spacious and very tastefully green. This creates a pleasant climate, even though it is usually very hot in Watamu. And there are plenty of cozy seating and lounging options. The staff is super. Overall, it's even nicer than on the pictures because the flair just fits. Unfortunately, we received another accommodation due to a double booking and it was right next to the parking spaces. Some Tuktuk drivers like to run the engine longer than necessary - and so there was occasional odor and noise nuisance. Overall, however, this is negligible and we felt super comfortable and would check back in at any time. The local diving school is also highly recommended - competent and friendly and the underwater world fantastic. Asante Sana

I stayed at Jürgen's AirBnB for two and a half months, and I really enjoyed my time there! Jürgen is a very friendly and helpful host, the place is located in a calm and secure neighborhood, and is very well equipped for both short- and long-term stays. I will be back for sure!

Murera Cottage Lake Elementaita.

Christine XiaowenRating, 5 stars22 months ago
David's place is amazing and the staffs are helpful and friendly. The location of the cottages is wonderful in that there's an open area right next to the lake and you can easily observe flamingos and storks easily. But please be sure that you're arriving with a great SUV car because the way to the place wasn't easy.

TaiMashambani

BarbaraRating, 5 stars8 months ago
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The house is so charming and thoughtfully built. It matched the photos and description given. It was also very clean and easy to find. Sam is responsive and was happy to help us. He adjusted his timings to accommodate our check in which was earlier than we had anticipated. The house manager is very warm and hospitable. It was lovely, to say the least!

Glass House - eye candy

CaterinaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We loved our time at Glass house. Absolutely beautiful, so creative but also so well though through and functional! The house has all you need, even books, and the kitchen cupboards are usefully stocked with pots, pans, and other cooking tools. The location is amazing. A true getaway and not far aware from town at all. I highly recommend.

Family & business cottage w/ maid & free parking

MarkRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We spent a long weekend at Pam’s place in Karen, Nairobi. It was perfect for our needs to enjoy some down time in a quiet location, yet near some wonderful restaurants and malls. Would definitely recommend and, if back in Karen again, this will be our first port of call.

Nestled perfectly where the city meets the countryside, this beautifully constructed A-frame house offers an idyllic retreat. The location is private, secure, and exudes tranquility. I was so captivated by the serene surroundings that we extended our stay to immerse myself in nature a bit longer.

Stone Cottage Living|Forest Stay|Near Ndunda Falls

JackyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Amazing stay. Rustic, beautifully furnished and the landscaping as well was top tier. Bed linen and towels were top quality, the coffee machine and blender were a pleasant surprise. Fast wifi, stable electricity, the cottage is secure and easy to access. Clean, fresh air with an amazing team at your service. Joyce is an amazing host and Debbie was truly hospitable and made the breakfast including really good smoothies. Will definitely be booking again.

Cosy & Airy Studio with Balcony WI-FI and Netflix

FatimaRating, 5 stars15 months ago
Cosy Tiny Living is exactly that, a repurposed container that holds everything you need in a small space, including a reliable Wi-fi connection for those who need to work from home. Catherine and Jay are super responsive, friendly and accommodating hosts who don't hesitate to make an already homely experience even cosier. The friendly neighborhood is lined with local shops and restaurants providing your daily needs. For those looking for more "westernised" goods, Mountain View mall is at a walking distance and you are a short Uber ride away from Westgate Mall. I loved my stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place that feels like home in Nairobi.

Loft in a Serene Location

MichelleRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The Stay at Bella's was fantastic! I was rather sad to leave the forest view. I was lucky to see the Sykes monkey and quite rarely a snake (which slithered away harmlessly as it is also their habitat). Bella's place is a breath of fresh air and she is a lovely and attentive host while giving you privacy, I will miss her gentle presence.

Amboseli Trails A-frame

MajaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
this is the perfect place to admire Kilimanjaro and Mawenzi. A real spectacle, every day in a different look. The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Daily cleaning is provided. Lee is an extremely attentive and committed host. The place is new, refined all the time. Lee listens and advises. My only comment is for the bugs in the cottage in the evening. The cottage is not tight, so there are all kinds of bugs that may not suit everyone.

Jua Cottage with Pool in Karen Nairobi

BelindaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Ol Losowan proved to be a very peaceful place to spend our final few days in Kenya before flying back to the U. K. Within walking distance of the Giraffe Centre, we took in that experience and then cooled off in the beautiful saline pool and read beneath the trees and umbrellas. Spacious rooms and comfortable beds made for restful nights, and we made the most of the kitchen and bbq facilities to prepare most of our meals on site to the sound of the tree hyraxes and bush babies. Thank you for hosting us Julie and your team. Our only disappointment was that we never got to meet you in person!

The Ol Kalou Retreat

JayRating, 5 stars4 months ago
I was needed of a quiet-get away from NBO, when I get to this retreat, I couldn’t ask for more. Jacqueline, the host has been responsive and attentive to your questions and needs. She also has her full team including Arnold, and the caretaker on ground, Simon who will make sure you’re taken care of. The cabin is so cute, lovely, clean and environmental friendly. Not only you will reconnect to the beautiful nature but you will reconnect with your soul through the cold fresh-clean air, the sounds of nature and warm charcoals provided. The morning coffee is my favorite moment, so does a small walk to the stream just by the house. If you like outdoor & camping you’ll know what to prepare. Not about sleeping in a tent (as beds are provided & hot-shower) but more of the self-catering preparation and personal warm-clothes. If you are short on things, there’s Jamaa supermarket 15 mins drive-away to Ol Kalou town. So, take off your shoes, enjoy & feel the green yard! It’s one beautiful one.
