The location was super beautiful overlooking the Chester River like the opening scenes from the Dead Poet Society, which was filmed not too far away. We really enjoyed the facility and land, river as it provided a wintry rustic feel. I loved the hickory smokiness smell of the open fireplaces upon walking in. On the side, my wife not as much since she had to dry clean some items. Ina was amazingly responsive on all our questions and requests, even on her birthday! She even had needed house supplies delivered while we were there. This made our stay so much more comfortable. It was a wonderful stay, even though it was raining much of our time. A great rainy day stay location!

A beautiful location and well decorated AirBnB, in a great area of the country. We stayed in November -- a peaceful and quiet time, with several great restaurants around.

This was our 2nd year at Peaceful Waters. It is indeed just that! Peaceful! Perfect and beautiful location. Everything needed is there to assure a wonderful carefree stay. The place is well stocked, clean and is just as it reads and appears! My group of 16 loved the place AGAIN this year. Hopefully, planning to go back next year. Matthew and Rose are great to work with! ❤️

Me and my girlfriends had an amazing time at Denise’s place. We were welcome with blueberry muffins and wine, which was so thoughtful. The place matched the description and everything was extremely clean and organized. The views are great, it’s private, peaceful, just like home. Totally recommend!

the only reason I gave a 3star for cleanliness is bc of bugs but I want travelers to know these are only country bugs...crickets in the basement...stink bugs everywhere...tis the season, etc. We were fine with it but might be concerning for some. Despite, we LOVED our stay!! The photos do not do justice...hard to capture magic in photos ;) The nearby town of Chestertown is historical and darling and nice if you want to shop, go to a restaurant or sightsee. We cooked all of our meals in the well stocked kitchen with fresh produce, eggs and cheese from local farms and fresh herbs from the yard!We kayaked/canoed, built fires, played games, fished and hiked around property. Truly a lovely time at a special place.

Cannot say enough about the view - beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We all enjoyed our stay and found it very relaxing. It is convenient to town which made it easy to purchase our groceries and other sundries. All in all a nice spot to hold our annual family gathering.

We've been twice now and love Dorothy's place. The kids can run around outside and we can grill and relax. A great escape from the city. About 15 mins drive to groceries or whatever you need, 20 mins to Chestertown. Easy drives.

This was our second time at Leone's beautiful spot on the Chester River and it did not disappoint! It's such a beautiful place and beautiful location -- we absolutely love it!! Thank you Leone!!!

Mac and Rabia were very very responsive to an immediate need we had when checking in. They went 110 percent above and beyond to resolve our issue. I can’t say enough about how much they cared about our stay. The home is very clean and in a very quiet neighborhood. The view is spectacular of the water. If we find ourselves back in the area I am sure we will stay again! Thanks for the wonderful Christmas Gift guys!
