The location was great, walking distance to trains and trams to get to the heart of Amsterdam. Far enough away to be quiet for nights in. Nancy was very communicative even though she was on holiday. Easy parking if you drive in and plenty of space for 5, especially if someone doesn’t mind the couch. Would be great for 3 couples. Amazing showers 😁

This is such a special place! We absolutely loved our stay - it was the perfect place to unwind, slow down and be still. Rob was a great host and made us feel really at home . I highly recommend staying in Robs house and we’re keen to return!!

Fred and Kelly were very kind and responsive throughout our check in and throughout our stay as well. The place is located in a quite and peaceful neighborhood so it was ideal for me. The place itself is beautiful and makes you feel right at home [away from home]. They had an amazing amount of books, pamphlets, etc full of information to help guide you around. The instructions in how to use the amenities were super clear so we did not struggle with anything. It truly was such a lovely place and I feel very lucky to have found such a gem for our trip to Amsterdam!! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to explore the Netherlands.

We had a fantastic stay! The accommodation was top: clean, comfortable and equipped with every comfort. The metro was about a 20-minute walk away, but we could also borrow bikes, which made it even easier to get out quickly. Sheniva is a super friendly and welcoming host, always willing to help and give good tips. The breakfast was great, really a lovely start to the day. And the bathroom? BLISSFUL! In short, a top location that we definitely recommend and where we would love to come back!

We had a great weekend at the beach with our two dogs! House was clean and cozy. We felt very comfortable right away. We were in the dunes in 10 minutes on foot and in 25 minutes by the sea. The way there is worth a walk, great views over the dunes! Highly recommend!

Wonderfull house. Supermarkets close by (5 minutes by car). Well equipped kitchen great living room and bedrooms. We used the sunny terrace a lot for breakfast and dinner. We would definitely rent the house again.

The perfect place to escape from Amsterdam for a weekend in a very atypical farm! Patries and Mike were very welcoming and warm, they gave us a lot of recommendations on things to do/see in the surroundings. They made us feel at home. Our 2 year old son particularly liked being able to go see the horses whenever he wanted. The house was very clean and very cozy! I highly recommend, thank you again!

Booked for our technicians working away and they were very happy with everything about the accommodation giving it all 5/5, with specific mention to good supplies for cooking. We stayed for a couple of days while visiting Amsterdam and Leiden - it was fantastic for the train and a real quiet cosy little place Kitty was a lovely host, she sent the most comprehensive directions I’ve ever gotten to find the place from the station and was super speedy to respond. I felt wonderfully at home in this cozy cottage with beautiful views of the reed land. It is clean and cozily furnished. The house is well located if you want to visit both Rotterdam or surrounding cities or if you want to walk or cycle into nature. Tip: rent a public transport bike if you have a public transport ticket in your name, then you can easily cycle from the station to the dike house (still 1.8 km) and into nature. I was able to enjoy it to the fullest, because Willem was very flexible with arrival and departure times. He always responds quickly, even in the evening (when fire/CO2 alarm started to beep irritatingly, he immediately fixed it.)

We enjoyed the holiday very much, very friendly hostess and great accommodation. Beach, downtown, restaurants and shopping are easily accessible.

Countryside accommodation with its charm and spacious stay, countryside location, but highway accessible very quickly to get to Amsterdam located 25-30 minutes away. Parking space provided inside the courtyard. Great welcome, flexible check-in times and prompt response from the host by message. Advise without hesitation.

We had a lovely stay at Maycke's during the Wijk Aan Zee chess tournament. The house is comfortable, clean and very well equipped. And we were able to enjoy the very nice weather for beautiful walks on the beach nearby! Thanks to Maycke who was a very responsive and efficient host. We'll be happy to go back!

Our stay at Marcels cottage was brilliant! He welcomed us upon arrival, introduced us to his family, showed us around the cottage, explained how to unlock the electric gates and swimming pool cover. The cottage is within the grounds of Marcels house but provided enough privacy for both of us. Marcel is a very easy going person, friendly and accommodating. He was always there when we needed him but never impinged upon our privacy. We were on a cycling holiday on our own road bikes and not once did we fear our bikes would be stolen from the garden. Vicky my wife is a keen swimmer and there was never a time when it was a problem for her to use the pool. We loved the accommodation and the atmosphere Marcel provided. Of all the Airbnb we have stayed at this is by far the best. Thoroughly recommend. We will definitely come back 😀

Marcel's place is a little gem.... perfect for 3 people, plenty of room. The bus 382 which is about 2 minutes walk up the road takes you to Sloterjik Station where you jump on a train, and head to Amsterdam Central in 5 mins, in total the travel time is around 25mins... Marcel was very kind and friendly and had everything we needed in the property... Perfect place for exploring Amsterdam but coming away from the hustle and bustle. The surroundings are peaceful, just what we like after a day in the city.

Everything went well. We had a very nice time in Amsterdam. The boat is in a very beautiful and peaceful neighborhood. Everything was as expected.

Magdalena is a great hostess and I was already her guest in 2022, this time I unfortunately had to leave the trip to other guests because I couldn't travel. The exchange worked smoothly, Magdalena always responded very quickly and the place is simply fantastic. Great location, beautiful home, and great hosts. 5 stars plus. Looking forward to being able to travel here again.

My husband and I went on vacation during our 14-day stay, but also partly worked. The work worked really well with the Wi-Fi, also a desk was available in the third bedroom. But the house was also very suitable for the holiday. Everything was very well equipped, there was nothing missing. Beds are very comfortable and bathrooms modernly equipped. In the evening we turned on the fireplace more often, very comfortable. To the stone you could walk well and also make great excursions in the area with the bikes. Elvi was easily accessible and very helpful. The place is really recommended, with or without children.

Everything about our stay was great, it's proximity to the event centre was great bonus. The restaurants locally were very good, never had a disappointing meal and the all you can eat Japanese close by was amazing. The houseboat was comfy and clean, no issues with the place itself. The log burner was simple to get going and was needed on one of the colder nights, it was great watching the bikes and rowers go by the canal from the cosy sofa. Light sleepers might find the mopeds on the bike road across the water annoying in the night (bring earplugs if so) and setup of the projector wasn't the easiest (not really a stable place to mount it) but was ok once going. Otherwise it was a fantastic week, host was very attentive and we were very happy 😁.
