I loved staying with Sumit, Sasha and the kids! I felt really welcome and it was just the break I needed after a long flight. I chose to pay to eat meals with them which I would really recommend, such delicious food and they're masala chai is supreme! I joined Sasha for a pottery session which I loved and would highly recommend!! All in all I had a lovely experience, and I will return soon ☺️ xxx

Host - Vinaya aunty and her family are so friendly and welcoming. She really helped my family as we were travelling with an infant so we needed to use the kitchen a lot and she gave us all the equipment we required. Aunty helped us and accommodated literally all of our requests very patiently. Location - Extremely beautiful ❤️ place. The beach nearby is very walkable. It is very clean and the surroundings are quiet. A beautiful getaway from the hustling city life. Truly relaxing. Food - many restaurants available on the highway. Grocery and vegetable shops are also closeby. Vinaya aunty also has contacts who can provide home cooked food for very reasonable prices. The food was very good too. Highly recommend the stay!

Very remote and un touristic a magical place. The beach house is sandwiched between a seemingly endless golden sand beach 35kms long and the calm of the backwater. Bicycles rides and boat trips recommended. Doc’s sense of intrinsic beauty and craftsmanship is evident in the 4 homes on the island that he has restored with an artists eye for detail. He was very welcoming and helpful with planning and organisation. We also had great conversations. Theyyam rituals are a must. We were lucky to see the dancing with fire. Otherwise my favorite things were evening Kayaking at sunset to the mangroves and early morning swimming & bird watching in the back water. It’s worth also checking the peacock house on the backwater side, it sleeps 4. Had the best stay experience at Chethan’a villa. Smooth check in, cozy atmosphere, barbecue set up, privacy and security - everything put together it was an absolute blast. Recommended for family and friends.

Beautiful home stay amidst lovely surroundings. Mr. Ashok and Mala the cook are very responsive and responsible. Special mention is the lovely view from the deck. You don't get tire of it. The house and bathrooms are very well maintained with lovely antique wooden furniture. Amazing place 10/10.

We recently stayed at Notting Hill Homestay in Madikeri for three nights and had a wonderful experience. The heritage property, with its well-maintained three-bedroom setup, provided a comfortable and charming stay. The location was excellent, offering a peaceful retreat while being conveniently accessible. The caretakers were hospitable and ensured our needs were met, enhancing the overall experience. The food served was delicious, adding to the homely atmosphere. The hospitality and upkeep of the property were commendable, making our vacation in Coorg truly enjoyable.

We had such a lovely stay at Pranalika’s place in Coorg! The home was exactly as shown in the pictures—beautiful, clean, and peaceful. The food was absolutely amazing, and Pranalika was incredibly helpful and always available with great recommendations that made our trip even better. Highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a cozy and well-hosted experience in Coorg!

It is good for family stay but not luxury stay. Kitchen is also there
