We really enjoyed our stay! House was spotless and kitchen was very well stocked! It felt private and the balcony/bbq were perfect for relaxing! Walking distance to the beach and takeaway shop. Not a negative but the only thing we didn’t find were beach/swimming towels, so chuck one if you plan on swimming. We’ll def book again when we head over next!

We loved our couple of days here! A highlight was lighting the fireplace at night and chilling with a good book. His property is awesome with lots of birdsong and the sound of water. Very affordable and a great location, we visited the gorge and Waihi Beach during our stay.

Excellent. So much living space for a one bedroom house. Exotic living space at the back, felt sub-tropical. Very well equipped for self-catering. Very comfortable. 1 minute walk to Seabird Shoreline. Packed with birds, mainly oystercatchers. Welcoming and friendly hosts.

Howard’s place was lovely! We were a groups of adults so for each couple to have their own en-suite and a large living area it was perfect! Howard was quick to respond to messages and requests. The kitchen had everything you needed and a lovely outside area - would definitely recommend and use his house again!

We stayed here for our babymoon, and it was absolutely perfect! The incredible views were breathtaking and made our trip so relaxing and memorable. We kept thinking to ourselves how fortunate we were to have the view! Waiheke is awesome and waking up to such stunning scenery each morning so restful. The hosts were so warm and friendly—they went above and beyond to make sure our stay was special. Their communication was excellent from the start, making check-in and planning seamless. They made us feel so welcome and cared for throughout our visit. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with amazing views and wonderful hosts, this is the place to be! We can’t recommend it enough. Thank you for making our babymoon unforgettable!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The tennis court and pool were well used. Lots of space to play other lawn games. The pizza oven and smoker were fantastic. Water pressure was great. Far enough away from town for some peace, but close enough to travel to get the essentials. The only downside was a little bit of road noise at certain times of the day.
