Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Kansas

We were pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and the space of this home. She was easy to communicate with and I have informed her that I will be coming back!

the house was so nice! the kitchen was very equipped, lots of spices, and decaf and reg coffee. the silverware is perfect! I hate cheap silverware and they have perfectly beautiful silverware. the house was great, i wish we had more time to enjoy the house and backyard for my kids! they loved the Playset! thank you for such a comfortable beautiful home!

This was a great experience for me and my family. It was the perfect house for relatives meeting up who hadn’t seen one another in a long time. The host has thought through how people are going to use the location. The furniture is simple and comfortable. The technology (TVs, WiFi, coffee maker, check-in pad) is all easy to understand. There were dog beds, there was everything we needed to BBQ some chicken, bathrooms were stocked with soap and towels. We used the games that were provided, used firewood that was provided, used the local recommendations that were provided. Rarely have I seen an Air BnB that is so well-thought out for HOW folks might use it! The yard is nicer and more spacious than it appears in the pics. There was even a swing for the little kids. The privacy fence has been well maintained. This was a case where we chose to come to Salina BECAUSE of the accommodations. We needed a halfway point to meet and this house drew us in. Host even had holiday decorations!

This is the second time we have stayed here. We love staying here and would recommend to anyone looking for a warm and cozy home!

Christy's place was perfect for our stay! It is a typical older home in Kansas and as such shows its age, but it was very clean and beautifully decorated with furniture and decore that fit the style of the home. Christy communicated well and made sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend booking this place if you need a comfortable place to stay where you can make yourself at home.

This unique accommodation is as fun and funky as the photos, so you'll enjoy exploring it, as we did! The kitchen (well stocked) is really the only updated space, and the rest of the house is on the shopworn side, but the decor definitely makes up for it, and there's so much room to spread out. The beds are in fine shape, which is something that matters a lot to us. You may want to know that the second bathroom with the shower is not en suite, which was a little bit of a surprise. It's at the opposite end of the house (past the kitchen) from the three main-floor bedrooms. But the location actually made it easier for our party -- two couples -- to share the shower since the other bath has only a tub. The location can't be beat. It's such a beautiful and walkable neighborhood! I also should add that both the property manager and owner are extremely responsive. We discovered the home's hairdryer had gone missing, and we were most grateful that they acted quickly to replace it.

Great place. Neighborhood isn’t great and there is an apartment above so sometimes it could get noisy but overall a fantastic experience. Tania was a great host. Very private. Easy access in and out of the residence. Highly recommend!!

I've stayed at Linda's place twice now and enjoyed it both times. Passing through on a road trip, Linda's spacious apartment was a perfect place to relax, have a couple meals, take a walk in the neighborhood, and get a good night's sleep. I liked the time-warp of the retro decor, everything was in working order and very clean. the rooms are huge! The neighborhood was a perfect place to walk my dogs as well. I'd stay here again.

Young was very friendly and responsive. The rental is in a great location for anything K-State related. Young has made sure that a wide variety of amenities are available for guests and has done a fantastic job utilizing the space to accommodate such. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a great place to stay to access the Prairie Spirit and Flint Hills trails. Ottawa is a very picturesque town to visit. The space is comfortable and clean. would stay again!

This place was exactly as described and a great stay for me. There is a coffee shop just a short walk away and it's in a very nice neighborhood. I would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay.

Beautiful apartment! Lots of places to walk to for great food, drinks, and shopping. We had a great time in Humboldt!

Julie's basement apartment has daylight windows and is impeccable. it is nice to stay in a place that is clean and comfortable.

Omg, the place was amazing. Booked for my fiancé for out of home work purpose. The condo was very & modern. This condo came with everything you’ll need and more.

This place was absolutely perfect for our stay in Lawrence, Kansas. The place is decorated so cute and had everything we needed for our stay. The backyard is large and fully fenced and worked very well for our two dogs. It is a shared back yard, but that was not an issue at all. We just made sure there weren't other people or dogs in the yard before we went outside with ours. Tess was very quick to respond to any questions we had. We will definitely book this place again.

Location was VERY clean and well thought out for guests. Even had a washer & dryer. Although we didn’t need it this trip we thought that was very nice to have accessible to guests. Bed’s were super nice and surprisingly very comfortable! Coffee bar was a great addition and had more towels than we could have ever asked for! Had an amazing stay and would definitely stay again!

Aaron and Thad were fantastic! They were communicative and respectful. Dropped by hand soap for the kitchen without a single disturbance to us. You will need to bring your own fire wood and if you plan on cooking your own food there you may want to bring a few of your own spices. Other than that, fantastic space. Great to unwind and relax for a few days. We will gladly return!
