Beachfront vacation rentals in Kalmar County

What an amazing night we have spent in the tent! The environment is so peaceful and quiet, sleeping by the stars and listening to the (wild)life out there has been such a nice experience. The beds are super confortable and the tent is perfectly equipped. The kids (and grown ups) have really enjoyed it! It is also a very nice place to explore with lots of activities and great places to discover. Would highly recommend!

A wonderful swedish experience! Actually, one should keep this little paradise to oneself as a secret tip and share it only with very good friends :) The location of Magnus' small loft is a dream, situated with a slightly elevated terrace, overlooking the legendary landscape of the archipelago and finding oneself in the midst of nature. The grounds of the accommodation are like Bullerbü, with a beautiful stylish Swedish house attached and old fruit trees as well.There are paddle boats and canoes as well as bicycles, so you can move around perfectly to explore the islands. The loft is very cozy with typical Nordic charm, very comfortable, good beds, and a modern shower. A small kitchenette helps to self-cater occasionally. Magnus and his wife are very warm and welcoming hosts who always had good answers to all our wishes and questions. Magnus is an expert in giving tips about the surroundings and other parts of the country. Definitely a vacation that couldn't have been more beautiful.

We had a fantastic weekend in Västervik and enjoyed the surroundings and the cozy accommodation. We got to stay a few extra hours and enjoy the nice weather and we thank you so much for that! Can really recommend the accommodation and Grönö for those like us have a cozy and quiet weekend in a nice environment!

we had some lovely fall day. The house is just so beautiful right down to the water with lots of islands. The highlight was a ride in the rowboat. We could have easily stayed a few more days.

Very nice accommodation with private terrace, only a few meters to the water, city reachable on foot within 10 minutes. We felt very comfortable.

Super nice surroundings, very quiet, great paths for walking, the sea in front of the door. Host very nice and the place has everything you need (modern appliances, cozy seating and sleeping furniture)

Lovely stay for our small family “2 grown up+ six year old boy. The small cottage was as described in the pictures. Beautiful view out to the water and was what we needed for a small getaway from Copenhagen. We had some problems finding the cottage on arrival but Peter was quick in respond and help us finding the location. Overall just what we needed for our family. We went on some good walks and a hiking route that Peter also recommended for us. Can only highly recommend this place for other who needs a small cozy cottage house in beautiful surroundings.

This was definitely our best accommodation we had in 8 years in Köpingsvik! The fact that we are extremely satisfied is really no exaggeration and there is nothing negative at all to find about either the property or the host. Everything was TOP NOTCH and a welcome called goodbye!! Full marks for Maria and Jörgen!!

We have had a wonderful stay at the sea cabin Knösö. A pearl of a place directly on the waterfront. Spotlessly clean and new, everything you need in the cabin and friendly and helpful hosting. The surroundings, the view and the nature reserve are really great. Recommended!

The second time we rented and just as happy this time. A really good place for the family that is highly recommended!

The house was great for our family - in the morning, if it was still a little cooler, you could have breakfast in the conservatory, sit on the terrace next to the pool at noon and in the evening or use the super cozy garden furniture and barbecue. Location -100m from the sea- was perfect. Despite the adjacent campsite it was very quiet and the beaches were empty. We had a wonderful week at Peter's house, who responded to us super friendly within a few minutes if needed.

Spacious, wonderfully furnished, the new pool is a big plus, very friendly hosts, would recommend!

Our stay in Köpinsvik was above and beyond, proximity to the beach, Ica and restaurants, was more than what we expected. We rented a bike from nearby camping, so we could easily get into Borgholm. It took about 15 minutes to bike there. What we wished was that there was more than one parking. Jonas always responded when contacting him, however, we did not meet him in person without all communication was via message. Can highly recommend this home, as it was absolutely perfect!

We were two small families staying two nights. We enjoyed the value and the kids loved the pool. Perfect location to Astrid Lindgren's world and the pool house was in pure idyll! 🌸

Beautiful house decorated with an eye for design. Very well equipped and everything up to date. Nice quiet area where you can get down very well. Mario is a very friendly and helpful host! Our stay was perfect and we'd love to come back!

Lena's place is as excellent location for all activities around Kalmar. We stayed for the Ironman triathlon and it was a perfect base. The house is clean and well presented containing everything we needed for our time there. She was very kind and allowed my sister in law to park her mobile home in the front yard. Special note: watch your head as the doorways are low!!

We had a wonderful stay in Grönhögen. We were four adults and three infants and the house was perfect for our “baby holiday”. The host is super helpful and responsive. Nice little town and the house has a beautiful view over the ocean and perfect for watching the sunset

We spent a great week at Carl's beautiful house. The place is even nicer than in the pictures and equipped with everything you need. Carl was always available and helped us with all questions. Degrees with children you can spend a wonderful time in and around the house! We would come back anytime!

We had great days at the house that Camilla rented out. The house corresponds to the description and more. It has a great location with the beach just below and walking distance to grocery store. It is quiet and peaceful with a large plot of land on which my children played hide and seek. We especially enjoyed the proximity to the beach and being able to sit at sunset and gaze out to sea. Camilla is a great host and everything went very smoothly, from booking to checking in and checking out. We are very satisfied and would love to come back! Thank you Camilla for renting out this gem!

Had a great stay at Helge's house! It is very easy and free to get to the island from Karlskrona. The ferry goes about every 30 minutes. The few islanders were all very friendly and always greeted. The small supermarket is really very well sorted and has everything you need for weekly shopping. The house and location are at least as beautiful as on the pictures! You can only feel comfortable, unwind perfectly and forget about any stress. Helge is extremely kind and accommodating. A great host. He even has a newer boat than in the photo with more hp. I highly recommend having Helge give a briefing, as it is quite rocky under the water surface. I had a great time. Good for dropouts, couples or family who can also occupy themselves. Price/performance was excellent!

A great place to stay with a fantastic view of the fields. You can swim nearby and take beautiful walks. You have to go for shopping. Karin is really reliable and helpful. The house is clean and well appointed.

Anne-Li & Patrick were very friendly, helpful and pro-active. The place of the house is outstanding- direct on the sea with the opportunity to swim and kayak. Wonderful terrace with a great view into the archipelago. The house is brand- new with a first class equipped kitchen. All in all a great and relaxing experience.

Soheil is a super friendly and attentive host. The apartment is small, but everything is available and the landlord is always available if you need anything else. The location is just great, so close to the water. Downtown is easily accessible on foot. Soheil also takes care of bicycles if needed or lends a sup board.
