Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Kalahari Desert

Corna was extremely hospitable and responsive. It was a delight for us to stay by the ocean and hear the ocean, which is one of the best things in the world for me. The children enjoyed playing in the sea, and I enjoyed being able to wake early and sit by the water, while my sister enjoyed sitting by the seaside and watching the sun set. We regret not staying longer. The housekeeper was also very pleasant and wellmannered.

Great location and place. If you have a large group this spot has plenty of space without feeling crowded. Highly recommend.

Stayed here for two nights and it was absolutely amazing. The place is 10min from town if you need anything..and a beautiful spot to just relax!

We enjoyed our stay enormously. The manager of the house went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The host, Wilmarize knew we liked special coffees and had the manager purchase a coffee machine for us which we thought was extremely thoughtful. There were only 2 of us for most of the 6 weeks we were there and the house as listed is large and big enough for many more guests. The view is magnificent and we enjoyed our long walks on the beach. I would recommend upgrading the kitchen cabinets. Once again I have to thank Mirna (the manager) who went out of her way to ensure we were happy.

We had an amazing stay at Sampie’s place, it was beautiful and very well maintained. It exceeded our expectations and I will certainly stay there over and over. Highly recommend!

I was very drawn by the appearance of the place when I was browsing through the options in Swakopmund. The place is stunning, Venetia did her own interior and both my partner and I were very impressed. We felt at peace spending the weekend there, and the place felt super cozy. Venetia lives on the property and we felt we had privacy throughout our stay. I definitely recommend this place and would go back for sure. Super friendly and welcoming, and twice told us if we need anything we can just knock and we will be assisted. Thanks again Venetia - your place is wonderful!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Felsenblick! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at home. The location is fantastic—nestled against the rocks with stunning views over Windhoek, making it the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. The accommodation itself is beautifully designed and well-equipped with everything you need. The attention to detail and the cozy atmosphere made my stay extra special. I especially enjoyed sitting on the terrace, taking in the lovely view. The hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating, always ready to help with recommendations and making sure I had everything I needed. Their hospitality truly made a difference! If you're looking for a comfortable, scenic, and relaxing place to stay in Windhoek, Felsenblick is the perfect choice. I highly recommend it and would love to come back again!

Our stay in Katchina's house far exceeded our expectations! The house is really spacious, clean, and inviting, and the garden/pool area is amazing. We loved the indoor and outdoor space for meals and relaxation. Excellent wi-fi connection and conveniently situated. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and given a thorough tour of the property. Katchina was excellent at communicating and checking in. We highly recommend this property and would love to visit again!

This house was absolutely fabulous. I recommend staying here. The location is fantastic, right on the beach, beautiful sunsets....you can hear and smell the sea. My dream location. The house itself is very well equipped and felt very homely. We were with a group of 7 and everyone had enough space to move about comfortably. If you are looking for a fantastic place to stay in Swakopmund, this is a true gem.

The house is amazing and offers gorgeous views. We could see seals playing in the water every day. The house has all the amenities one could think of. We truly enjoyed our stay with our extended family—everyone had their own large space, and we spent quality time together in the cozy dining and living areas with stunning sea views. The host was very accommodating and provided plenty of useful information about restaurants and local attractions. She even helped us find a doctor for our toddler on a Sunday. Thank you so much!
