Absolutely perfect for our party of 7 with two small children. The gite was clean with decent sized rooms, four bedrooms, three bathroooms, kitchen, dining room, dining terrace. Kitchen was very well equipped. Outside was a dining terrace for 9 with BBQ. The shared pool was excellent with sun loungers for everyone on the site. The large garden had children's swings/slides, bikes, table tennis, football and badminton. There were so many toys and games available (indoor and outdoor) that our children were never bored. Isabelle and Sebastien were very friendly, helpful and even gifted us a good bottle of wine on arrival. The gite is out in the countryside and 3 miles from Mortagne-sur-Gironde which had a great boulangerie, small coop and a pizza restaurant. Big supermarkets are 13-15 minutes away. Beaches at Messchers (15 minutes) and St Georges du Didonne (20 minutes) . The gite terraces are side by side with thin separating hedges, so a quiet time can't be absolutely guaranteed.

We spent 15 days in a lovely house and a beautiful garden. Thanks to Marie Noelle for hosting us and for being available. Only small downside for us the passage of cars early in the morning but this is related to a deviation for construction. Very good location to discover the region towards the sea or the Seudre. We recommend this lovely place to rent.

We had a lovely short stay in Port d 'Envaux. Stéph welcomed us warmly. This small place is perfectly equipped and clean. Stéph's tips for visits were welcome. I recommend it. Thank you for your welcome:)

We had a very relaxing stay at Jane and David's place. The setting is very warm: an English cottage feel in the middle of the Dordogne! The accommodation, besides being tastefully decorated, is very clean. We loved that the fact that it was crossing, overlooking a very nice garden or the surrounding countryside. Jane is welcoming and responsive. We recommend the evening meals cooked by them. A great experience!

Large family house very well equipped inside and out. We were 11 adults, lots of space, very good bedding, cooking utensils and very many dishes. Everything is made to make you feel good, books, games, bikes, foosball, ping pong, large swimming pool and above all a perfect bocce court😉. A welcome gift that we enjoyed very much....a very good weekend with friends, was only missing the nice weather for it to be perfect ☀️
