Private double bed- Alweibdeh Vintage Guest House

Where do I begin… not only did Mustafa welcome me with open arms and host me in a beautiful guest house, he introduced me to so many incredible people that quickly became my family. He took me out local restaurants, invited me to parties and was always available to answer any questions and help me with whatever I needed. As a woman travelling solo, I never once felt alone with social gatherings, activities and all the vibrancy of Amman to explore. My stay in Mustafa’s guest house was so magnificent I also extended my stay for 3 extra days! Which Mustafa was extremely flexible with! Please please please 🙏🏼 everyone thinking of travelling to Amman, Stay in Mustafa’s guest house and you’ll never want to leave!

Panorama Guest House - Petra Backdoor Entrance

MadelineRating, 5 stars6 months ago
This is a good launch pad for more adventurous travelers to explore Petra and learn more about Bedouin culture. Abdallah is a very responsive host and a Petra guide himself, so he had many helpful suggestions for our group. This is perhaps best described as a family stay, as you will have your own room on the upper floor but frequently meet members of his family who live on the ground floor beneath the unit, who were all very kind and welcoming. At the time of our stay, it was possible to arrange breakfast or dinner prepared by Abdallah's mother for an additional fee, but note there is no kitchen on the upper floor for making/storing your own meals. Also note that the neighborhood is home to many animals, so I recommend that lighter sleepers bring earplugs, etc.
