I was very happy with it. It was very spacious and I had a lot of amenities that we could use and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and I would tell anybody to stay there. It was a little pricey, but it was definitely worth it to me. Would probably go back I give them five stars all the way around.

Not sure where to begin.. we had an amazing time!!! Matthew is the absolute BEST host! The house is so clean and the sounds of the river were so relaxing. He took us out on the boat and even caught a 16lb catfish on the limb line. It was the perfect getaway for my husband and I on his birthday. We would go every weekend if we could. Oh and Carolina, the outside cat, is the sweetest! You can’t help but love her. We didn’t want to leave! We can’t wait to go back.

This cute little above-garage apartment was just what we were looking for in a weekend getaway to New Bern: well-equipped, comfortable, affordable, and close to Tryon Palace and downtown for good restaurants. The host was friendly and warmly greeted us on arrival, but then left us to ourselves for our comings and goings. The coffee and real creamers were a nice touch...we never even felt we needed to go find a grocery store. Ed provided lots of helpful hints regarding light switches, small things that just made settling in easier. And we really appreciated the early check-in on arrival day; we were able to drop off our bags and immediately head out to walk downtown unencumbered.

I really loved Bruce's cabin, it felt very home-y. He is a great host and was very proactive in communicating with us, even reached out to help us get a Kayak out. Bruce also had a lovely dog named River, who was a bundle of joy the entire time. His cats are friendly and adorable! Over all the stay was beyond amazing! He is a fantastic host and very friendly!

This house is absolutely beautiful!!! If you’re looking for somewhere to relax and come across this house, really consider it!!! I booked this house to have a little girls night in, super chill bachelorette sleepover with my girls and this place did not disappoint. Ainslie was super responsive the whole time and super helpful! The house is so clean and spacious. Definitely would love to book again. Thank you!
