We really enjoyed our stay here. This was exactly what we were looking for. Our grandfather doesn’t get around well and we needed a place that was accessible. The walk in showers and open space were perfect for him. We are very thankful for our host’s hospitality.

This was our first time staying at Helen’s home. It was a last minute trip to Mountain City. Her home was clean and comfortable and was exactly as it was pictured and described. We will definitely stay here again.

The home was cozy and pet friendly. Loved the cottage furnishings. Theresa was a gracious host who checked on us when we got there to let us know if we needed anything to call her. Check in and out was simple and easy. Will definitely stay again.

Wonderful beautiful place but very hard to find! Needs better signage. You have to enter a road that’s closed and go down a sketchy private drive. Don’t attempt this at night.

The house was beautiful, so clean, well stocked, and exactly as described. The location was perfect for visiting with my son in college at Appalachian State in Boone, Nc. We enjoyed chillin at the house watching it snow, playing games, and movies/football. The communication was fantastic as well.

We had a great stay. The house was exactly as described in the listing clean, comfortable, and cozy. The area is quiet, which made for a relaxing visit. Communication with the host was great, they were responsive and helpful throughout my stay.

Great stay within walking distance of Beech Mountain Ski! The condo was very clean and cozy. Check-in and check-out were made easy with clear instructions from the hosts. I would stay again!

We stayed for a long weekend of skiing. The location is great and pretty convenient to get to whatever mountain you want. We went to both Sugar and Beech. There’s a Food Lion right down the way, and a small little town as well. The cabin felt very cozy and really gave the illusion of a hidden little tree house in the mountains.

Beautiful private lodging. Lance's instructions were easy to interpret and there's a lot to do around the home.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about this place. Tammy was always making sure I had what I needed when I would message her, but she had it so well prepped I didn’t need to! The area is so relaxing and the animals are SO sweet. I had a very hard time leaving but I’m looking forward to going back if Tim and Tammy will have me!

We had a great trip! Peter was quick to respond when at last minute we wanted to come a day early and got everything ready and even allowed us a late checkout!

Kelly's house was super clean and perfect for my family. We enjoyed use of the hot tub. Kelly was very easy to communicate with and responds very quickly. Thank you for a great time!

We stayed at Deer Run during a trip to bike the Virginia Creeper. The house was convenient to so many wonderful attractions. The layout of the home provides provided privacy to each of the four bedrooms. Such a lovely home to enjoy with friends.

Awesome place with nice hose. Clean and has everything you need. Nice view, jost love it.

Tample was so delightful to communicate with... she even extended our checkout time to make sure the roads were safe. My grandsom had an incident and we needed her assistance and she was thoughtful, understanding and considerate. Her home was warm and cozy. We had a bast. Loved the wrap around porch.

We absolutely loved this place as a get away for a couples’ weekend so much so that we are planning to return with our children this summer. It’s very homey and has everything you need to disconnect from things and relax. We can’t wait to return!

Great place to stay if you are in the area!

Chris's cabin and property are beautiful! We loved having the river right behind us to play in with our puppy. Everything with the cabin was great, comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen, plenty of wood for the firepit, charcoal for the grills, and an amazing view of the river and surroundings. Very private and very remote, I would strongly recommend having an SUV/all-wheel drive vehicle. We saw two black bears as we were driving back to the property which was fun to see (but glad they weren't any closer or on the property). Chris is very helpful with instructions for getting to the place, and was very responsive when we had questions. We definitely hope to go back and highly recommend this property!
