Family-friendly vacation rentals in Johnson County

this was the perfect night away. we were able to go to dinner and the movies all within 10 minutes of the area and then came home to relax in the hot tub. hosts were extremely helpful/responsive.

What a treat this stay was. The house is beautifully landscaped and we enjoyed sitting on the front and back patios. At the front porch, a special treat was to see hummingbirds enjoying the feeders. The house features many fun and quirky touches. We made use of the hot tub most nights and appreciated the towels for afterwards. A+++++ rating.

We were a group of 4 old friends and our younger kids. Everything about this place was perfect for our get away. There are essentially two sides of the house with 2 kitchens. So when some of the kids wanted to be wild, the others could retreat to the other side of the house for more peace and quiet. The hot tub was amazing for everyone. The swing is all it's cracked up to be - a must try. We LOVED the beds - I am very particular with beds and these were wonderful. They are not too firm, but firm enough with what felt like a bamboo foam topper - perfect. Kitchens were perfectly stocked with all the supplies we needed. This really is the best place to go if you want to unwind and relax with friends and family. Remote enough to feel like an escape, but not too far removed that it's hard to find. The only thing we regret is not staying longer! We will definitely be back. Thank you Ken!!

The place was absolutely beautiful. Me and my husband enjoyed Kelly’s place, especially the hot tub. Great place for much needed downtime

What a great place to stay! Cute, convenient, everything we needed for a short stay. The photos do not do it justice. Just wish we could have stayed longer. The hot tub had an amazing view and was so good that I didn't get to use the claw foot bath tub. The downstairs games room is fantastic for a cold winters day. The host was super responsive when we had a small problem with the light over the pool table.

We loved the house, location and Mike was a great host. We only wished we had a few more days to be able to stay. This is absolutely a location we plan on returning to this next summer just to have time to get away and relax.

Host was wonderful with any questions we had. You really can't beat this location when needing to be in downtown. And the skywalk was just an added bonus.

We had a great stay at Josie and Rob's. We loved being able to walk to several great restaurants, cafes, and breweries. Place was spotless and cozy during some snowy weather as well. We brought our pup with us, and it was a very dog friendly neighborhood. We would gladly stay here again next time we are in Indianapolis.

A great place for any kind of stay! Hosts were responsive and friendly. Location was great and the house had everything you could ask for. Will definitely stay here again anytime!

Adam’s home was very nice for our 6 adults and 2 babies. It was comfortable and clean. Adam was quick to respond to our questions. It is also an easy walk to Mass Ave shops and restaurants. We had a great time!

Deborah’s place was amazing, so cozy for a couple of nights with my mom and I in Broad Ripple. Location was very easily drivable to lots of restaurants and shopping. Deborah was super communicative and it’s clear she puts a lot of thought into furnishing the space to make it comfortable

We had a wonderful stay at Aimee's place. Foremost, she was an excellent host- proactive, kind, & responsive to any questions I had. Her home is in a peaceful, walkable location close to everything we needed for our trip (we were in town for the Indy Monumental Half Marathon & a visit to the Children's Museum - both were conveniently located nearby). Her home itself is cozy & fun, with every amenity we could need. She was thoughtful enough to even leave out toys & bracelet making supplies knowing we were traveling with our kids. We had a wonderful stay & would recommend it to anyone visiting Indianapolis.

We didn't see the clipboard upon arrival and weren't sure where, exactly, to go in and we walked around to the back of the house and Andrew personally came out to greet us and showed us the clipboard and how to get in to the airbnb. It was close to where we were going and there are plenty of restaurants and stores around if you want to go out to eat/shop. We would definitely book again with Andrew if we go back to Indianapolis for next years event, or anything close to his proximity.

Immediately, you can tell Mike works hard to keep the place in great shape. It’s a nice change to stay somewhere not run by a corporation and you can tell he works hard to keep it that way. Super friendly host, really responsive. Arrived to a spotless place. Zero complaints. Comfy, peaceful, cute, and affordable! Also, Mike is an animal guy and was really flexible with our reactive dog. He totally gets it and that was so reassuring. Great to work with and super nice guy in general!

Very clean little house in a superb location. Dave was very attentive and communicated well.

In his place was exactly as it says on the listing. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the home is spotless. The kitchen is well-stocked and the character of the home is great. The house is on a busy street, but inside the home it’s surprisingly quiet. We all slept great and had a great time while visiting Indianapolis.

We had a wonderful time at the Allison house. We visited for a long weekend getaway for my parents and family. The home was very cozy and had all the amenities that you could ask for. We enjoy just lounging around the house, playing games and sitting by the fire. Tons of room for sleeping for our family of 10. Great location right in the heart of Nashville. Tons of shopping and restaurants to walk to. You will not find a better host. Danny was awesome and came by to check on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommended! We will definitely be back to stay at this property

This was our second time at John’s place and it was another great stay! Very clean, easy to access and perfect for a short overnight stay in Indy.

We’ve stayed at this location a couple times now and will definitely stay here again. Super easy to walk to any events at the Old National Center. Carol is very attentive and responsive. The flats are well kept and comfy.

My son and I enjoyed staying at Cheryl’s place. It was perfect for our weekend getaway to visit family. Very cozy and close to lots of coffee shops and restaurants.

We felt relaxed as soon as we entered this space. It's so tucked away and beautiful. Brian was an excellent host. We hope to be back!
