Vacation rentals in Jo Daviess County

First time using Airbnb and it could not have gone better. got a message from the host earlier in the week with all the info I needed and more for check in and the amenities provided. 10 out of 10

I can’t say enough great things about this condo. It was perfect for my party of 5. The condo was meticulously decorated and homey. The couches and beds were extremely comfortable and we had plenty of linens and towels. The kitchen came with basic necessities and utensils but they were of high quality. The condo was very clean for being a little older. I gave it 4 stars mainly because there was a lot of dust under the bed in the master bedroom. Other than that we really enjoyed are stay. The condo came with 2 logs for the fire which was really nice and extra touches such as coffee creamer, condiments, coffee.. were really appreciated. Plum Cove is a winner!

Julie's place was absolutely beautiful, surrounded by stunning natural scenery. The property was impeccably clean, and Julie was incredibly responsive throughout our stay. The house club pools were a fantastic bonus that added to the overall experience. We will definitely come again!

I felt super confident in my booking right from the moment I booked it as Dan guided me the entire way and is super amazing at responding and communicating. It was super accomodating when I needed help and it was so reassuring to have a host so kind and responsible.

Our group had a great stay at Phil's place during a winter weekend getaway to Galena. The house was spacious and spotlessly clean, the kitchen was well stocked, and we enjoyed cozy mornings and evenings in front of the beautiful living room fireplace. We also had a great time working out at the owners' club, visiting shops in Galena, and relaxing in the hot tub surrounded by a quiet, peaceful winter wonderland. Robes in each bedroom were a nice touch, and we're so thankful that the driveway was cleared multiple times during our snowy stay so we had no trouble getting in and out despite the snowfall. Would definitely stay at Phil's place again!

Great place for groups with all ages. Game room was so fun! Multiple beds and bedrooms made for comfortable sleeping arrangements for our group of eight. Would love to come back in warmer weather to take advantage of the outdoor space.

This was our first Airbnb experience, and it was amazing. We absolutely loved it. It was so clean, looked exactly like the pictures and had everything you could need. It's a short drive to Main Street in Galena but well worth it for the private peaceful location. We will definitely be back.

We had a great stay! Town house was nice and cozy, just the right size for our family. Surrounded by nature and golf courses. We went hiking, visited Thunder Bay waterfalls, went to Galena restaurants, horseback riding at Shennandoah center… Owner’s Club pool…. pretty much explored everything that place had to offer :)))
