Beachfront vacation rentals in Jan Thiel Beach

Mylenka and her crew could not have been better. There were a few minor issues that were dealt with promptly and with grace. This is truly a beautiful house with views on three sides, great pool and well equipped kitchen and bbq. I have no hesitation in recommending it and Mylenka. Curacao is beautiful too, although the traffic is a little rough.

This is by far one of our favorite places to stay on vacation. To begin with, communications with the host was fluent and we were so impressed how friendly and kind Geert and Heidi were. The location was ideal in the Spanish Waters located in Jan Thiel, with the penthouse balcony overlooking the marina, gorgeous pool and spectacular landscaping. We felt very safe in the gated units. Heidi’s flair for decorating is obvious by how beautifully charming and warm all the rooms were. The kitchen was fully stocked with all your needs and the modern bathrooms were super (fabulous shower)! The apartment was spotless! Checking in and out was a breeze. We definitely will be back!

We spent almost a month at Britt”s Blue Bay villa and had an amazing stay. The apartment was absolutely pristine. It was spacious, spotless and offered all the amenities that a family needs for long term stays. Everything we needed was available upon arrival such as coffee, tea and other basic cooking and cleaning necessities. The location has a spacious balcony and is a few minutes walk to gorgeous blue bay beach. We visited many beaches whilst in Curaçao and ultimately we loved Blue Bay! The resort was perfect and we will be back. Britt and Marianne were so incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to help us with questions, suggestions and were available at all times. This was the best rental and I highly recommend Britt and this location!

This place is a jewel once you find out that you are in a great area where you can do so many things without even getting in your car you will understand security on site although there is no need for that I felt very safe walking at all hours the private beach is heavenly you need water shoes to come to curaçao very important,the pool was awesome the apartment is very comfortable there are a few spots nearby where you have to go tug boat beach a short walk and khan tiel beach and so much more! Thank you

Location close to Jan Thiel beach, shops and restaurants but you need a car to get around. Very private setting, quiet neighborhood. Suzy was very approachable and helpful. We enjoyed the stay.

We had a great experience in the Hosting, the hotel is close to the healing center. The hostess welcomed us very well and we helped with several tips about the region. The kitchen of our room served us very well to make our breakfast.

Andre’s place was fabulous - the kitchen and grill were great for our cooking style, and the master bedroom is full of light in the morning with great views and breezes. The pool is incredible and the whole terrace area is relaxing and comfortable - comfy seating, good lounge chairs, and a hammock as well as some pool floats and toys. Very safe, and very quiet - amazing eastern views over the undeveloped landscape, with parakeets tweeting in the valley - can see beautiful sunrises, clouds moving across the sky, great place for a morning coffee. Distant views of the western ocean from the terrace, also. Could have come here with another family - plenty of space to eat and relax and hang out, both inside and outside. My daughter fell in love with the cat and named her Kit Kat after the candy. Andre is a terrific host to give great local recommendations, especially about snorkeling and the local flamingoes. Gerrit and Hilde were also very nice, helpful, and responsive. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay! The location was nice, quite central. We rented a car with them too, so we could get around easily. We had access to the driver service upon arrival and departure from the airport. That was great! Air conditioning could be used in the bedroom at night only. During the day we will open the windows, as it was warmer. The accommodation was clean and it had everything we needed for the week: towel, dishes, etc. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We had a great time at Blue bay and this location had everything we needed. Waking distance to a great beach and resort restaurants and a pool only a few steps away. Place was spotless and fit our family of four perfectly. Any amenity we needed was provided. If you are a golfer they have a beautiful golf course. Tennis court access is included, all you need to do is rent rackets. Location was great relative to Willemstadt only 10-15 mins away. Catharina was a great host and was helpful anytime we reached out.

The location near Blue Bay was great for us as a family with a 5yo who loves the beach and pool. The pool is a 5 minute walk, and the beach is under 10. With the small waves, chairs and umbrellas just a few minutes from the house, it was great. It was a beach we’d have wanted to come back to multiple times if we weren’t staying there, so having full access to it was perfect. We make a lot of our own food, so having a bbq was essential and we used it nearly every day. Just be aware that like most places on Curacao, water and electricity is a luxury and you need to watch your usage or else will be charged extra. This just means knowing that while the huge deck gets a great breeze, it’ll still get very hot and muggy, and you can’t just escape inside to the living room/dining room since the AC is only found in the bedrooms. Great location and would stay there again.

wow, amazing 2 week stay with 4 of us sure appreciated the beach chairs the beautiful huge balcony, and what a wonderful pool deck with the ocean views. The gate guys were so super friendly a fabulous experience

My family and I had a wonderful time at this home! It is located in a beautiful development, and has the best of indoor-outdoor living. We enjoyed many dinners on the deck, after our busy days exploring the island, or just hanging out at the beach and pool at Blue Bay. We were also fortunate to experience New Year’s Eve with fireworks on the beach! We made some great memories throughout our week. Blue Bay has a great relaxed vibe to it. Many families, golfers and people enjoying the beautiful beach. The house is perfectly situated, with a nice 5-7 minute walk along a winding path to the beach, and less than 2 minutes to the pool! The house is well stocked with kitchen utensils for cooking (although the knives could be a bit sharper!) and has very comfy beds. The only drawback was that we were there at the end of the rainy season and so we all experienced a lot of bites from the “no-see-em” bugs. But it wouldn’t stop us from going back again to this wonderful home!

We stayed with a group of 5 in this beautiful villa. The reality exceeded expectations, everything was present. We were kindly welcomed by the host. The house was completely new, wonderful stay. The private pool was the icing on the cake. We also really thought it was a plus that it is a guarded area. We felt very safe. Mambo beach is within walking distance, ideal! All in all, highly recommended to stay. There was still construction on the property, but we did not experience any inconvenience from that at all!

We stayed at David’s place and enjoyed every moment. Check in was easy as David’s sisters met us at the condo and explained things and showed us around. Throughout our stay, whenever texted, David responded quickly. Great communication throughout our stay! The unit was lovely and as described. We really enjoyed the outdoor space very much. Kitchen was well pointed for our needs. Location was also convenient and we were able to walk to a couple restaurants for dinner. We would definitely rent from David again. He and his sisters made our first visit to Curacao very easy and memorable. We hope to return in the near future! Thank you for your hospitality!

The apartment was as described and spotless! Everything worked and we loved having an ac in every room. We loved our stay! Would recommend having a car (we did not and managed) as restaurants are pretty spread out though 4 are within a 5-20 minute walk. The closest grocery store is a 20 minute walk away. Nearby Caracasbaii beach was perfect for little ones. Highly recommend Melissa's place and the property manager Kiarah was super responsive and helpful with anything that we needed.

Our family stayed here for a week over the holidays. Pat was an excellent host, and their condo is wonderful. First floor walk to the small private beach. Great for the kids. Well appointed condo with everything we needed. We had an issue with a broken water heater over Christmas, and Pat and the local hosts were on it right away- even though it was a holiday. They got it fixed within a couple of days. We really appreciated their urgency and communication through that process. Thank you Pat!

This place was wonderful and met or exceeded our expectations in every way. The location was ideal, the apartment exactly what we wanted, and everything with Petra went smoothly.

We had a wonderful two weeks at Villa 200! The villa was beautiful and had a stunning view of the water. The terrace was a fabulous place to relax in the breeze. The pool was small but refreshing. It was also convenient to Karakter (10 min walk). An issue we had with the hot water heater was taken care of quickly by Hilde and Gerrick. Overall, we would definitely recommend the property!

This Airbnb was a great value with an excellent location right across the street from the ocean. The AC and Wifi worked well for me and i really enjoyed my stay. Edward was very kind and took me to the supermarket to stock up at the start of my trip. About a 20 minute walk to mambo beach and a 3 minute walk from the marie pampoen beach.

So… Arend’s place is just literally perfect… we loved the water out back, snorkeling right there… the Aquarium is so close you can go home for snacks and breaks thx to their re-admission policy… restaurants and gelato you can walk to… hiking trails galore in the area… it’s just a great place and Arend is so nice and very helpful… we’ll be back…

It was a TOP stay. From the beginning, Donna was easily accessible. Donna helped find a car and gave advice about the tastiest restaurants. The apartment is sparkling clean and equipped with everything With small children, this is a nice location. All gates can be closed and as a parent you can relax as a parent. The beds are great! We received a delicious pampering package at the beginning. Donna, thank you for the good care.
