Kid-friendly vacation rentals in James City County

Love this place! Completely secluded, quiet, and yet somehow it was only 10-15 minutes from ANYTHING you could want. There is an amazing river view, huge backyard, and the house is modern and well kept. The only thing I must have missed on the description is that there is only one indoor shower. There are two full bathrooms but the master bath only has a soaking tub in it. There’s an outdoor shower right outside the master bath, but in winter we didn’t want to risk freezing any pipes. Amazing place overall and would absolutely stay here again!

Wonderful house with an open, comfortable layout and a beautiful location across from a horse farm. Close to all of the amenities and attractions and Williamsburg and Jamestown, and the hosts were responsive and friendly. The house was very clean, came with all the listed amenities and was well appointed for a comfortable stay. The clear instructions in every room regarding amenities and check out were much appreciated. We also greatly appreciated that the space is pet friendly, but still incredibly clean with no stains or lingering smells from previous furry visitors🙂.

Charlene is a wonderful and very responsive host. This was our second time staying there when we visit Williamsburg. The location is great and only a few minutes from everything. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy our week. We look forward to staying again in the future.

We loved this Airbnb! Had so many amenities that made it feel like home such as extra linens, fully stocked kitchen, toys for the baby and items for the dogs. The back yard was so fun for our dogs and toddler. The home is spacious and easy to get to places in Williamsburg. Would definitely come back !

It was a great place to stay and really close to Busch Gardens and Target. I believe my only complaint is that the water is well water so it smells really strong. We only stayed for 2 nights so it didn’t affect us a lot.

Great stay! Perfect, quiet spot for our time in Williamsburg. Decor is cute and we appreciated the comfortable beds, plenty of towels, extra blankets, supplies, and coffee, and the special touches like dog food and water bowls as well as a complimentary bottle of wine! Very responsive host and we'd 10/10 stay again.

Hutch's Bluff was just what we were looking for to have a restful and relaxing weekend! The view was beautiful and the house was cozy and we felt right at home. The host provided an array of snacks and coffee it was a nice touch to make us feel welcome. We would definitely book again in the future in warmer weather to be able to partake in some of the warmer weather activities. Loved everything about this place and it make our weekend away perfect!

Brad and Sara have a lovely, spacious two-bedroom condo conveniently located near restaurants, grocery stores, and the downtown area. First, the check-in process was exceptionally smooth. Russell at the front desk was very polite and welcoming, and he even allowed us to check in two hours early. The beds were incredibly comfortable! My husband, who has hip problems, reported having the best sleep he's had in years! I made a note of the mattress brand so we could purchase one for home. We received discounted tickets to Busch Gardens Christmas Town, which was cold, but delightful. On the first night, I enjoyed the wonderful soaking jacuzzi tub. I should mention that we are seasoned travelers, and at 65 (and my 90-year-old mother, who traveled with us), we have high standards and would not hesitate to depart from any accommodation that failed to meet our expectations. Our stay at the Wyndham resort in Williamsburg was wonderful! We had adjoining one and two bedroom condos which suited our group perfectly. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well stocked, and the resort activities exceeded our expectations with a wide variety of equipment available to borrow. We spent one day at Busch Gardens, one day at the resort, and one day at Water Country which made for a perfect balance of activity and relaxation! Dylan was friendly, helpful, and always responded to any questions and inquiries. Highly recommend and hope to return in the future!

Loved the condo! Great space while we waited for our new home to be ready. Enjoyed all the amenities and options on site. Nicholas was also great to ensure we got in and were satisfied with everything!

The suite was exactly as described, clean, had all the amenities we needed, and near our vacation destination (Colonial Williamsburg). We loved the on site pool & pizza place too!

This was a great place for a weekend In Williamsburg. Lots of comfy beds, functional kitchen, plenty of places to sit and chat.

When our first reservation fell through, Nadine quickly helped us secure a place for our family of six and was incredibly responsive to all our needs. Our unit was perfect for us — much bigger than I expected for a two bedroom, and the pools were also a big hit. Location is central to Williamsburg sights.
