In a quiet neighborhood by Pedersgata, this gem lies in the middle of an eldorado of eateries. The house is just the right size, newly renovated and furnished with original furniture classics from Scandinavia. In the house next door, baking is still done the old-fashioned way and on Friday there is a queue to secure the weekend's bread. Here you live close to the center with short distances. The airport bus stops nearby and the boats take you to the fjords with Prekestolen (pulpit rock).

Benedikte house on architect-designed Svindland farm

The Benedikte house is about 10 min drive from Egersund city center and about 5 min from E39. We have attempted to recreate the hospitality of Benedikte - the last one to stay in the old house - in this modern and completely newly built farmhouse on the outskirts of the courtyard of the Svindland farm. Here guests will find peace and idyll. On the farm there are horses, we have two dogs and a cozy peacock that runs freely. The house is very modern and well-equipped.

Great family apartment on the ground floor with stunning views to Lysefjorden. Closer to the fjord you won't be coming The apartment has a double terrace door onto the mountain. You will have a feeling of being “at sea”, once you enter the apartment. Giljastølens beste utsiktsplass. Mange varierte fjellturer. Fiske og bade muligheter. Ski inn ski out om vinteren med Gilja Alpin 250 meter fra hytte. Etter dagens aktiviteter er det godt å synke ned i et varmt boblebad med god massasje og nyte solnedgangen eller stjerne himmelen. Det finnes også et badstu i hytten. Gode solforhold rundt hytte fra morning til kvelds om sommeren. Slapp av med venner og familie i dette fantastiske ferie hjemmet.

Welcome to Stolpabua! Here you live in a rural setting just by the sea and the beautiful Jærskusten. We have spent the winter of 2021 renovating the old cottage that has been standing here on the farm since 1936. Now we hope our guests will thrive here at Brekkekanten as well as we do.
