Poblado Walk to Everything Soundproof Windows A/C

This place has a great location! You are in walking distance from all of the restaurants, parque llevas, Provenza, and the Metro. There is a fast food restaurant at the corner which is amazing called German Street Food. We came in at all times of the night and felt safe. There is security 24/7 in this building. If you are looking to do tours in Medellin there are also tour options right outside the building. If you need to change money to Colombian pesos just outside this building you have that option too. The apartment was extremely clean. The WiFi worked great! The sofa bed is comfortable. The hot water worked great! There is a police station at the park across the street which you are able to be out in this area at anytime and not have an issue. The new soundproof windows… you cannot hear any of the activity outside through these windows! The apartment was completely silent! The AC worked great! We have absolutely no complaints and we will definitely consider this location again!

The apartment is exactly as described, very clean and well laid out. The security guards in the building were friendly. The internet was fast and well suited for remote working, and WeWork is a 10 minute walk. You're close to Calle 10 so lots to do in walking distance but you're not so close that you have lots of noise late at night. There is a large supermarket about 15 minutes walk away. I only needed the host once, when I somehow managed to lock myself on the balcony, and he arrived quickly and was really friendly and understanding. I recommend this apartment and I would love to stay here again.

Great stay! The only mention worthy cons were the chickens which screamed at the crack of dawn everyday and the occasional bugs and lizards. Otherwise great stay and great communication from the hosts. Would definitely stay again 🙏🏽

Overall, it was a great day and it’s walkable. It’s not far from the subway. Its in a working class area but it was a wonderful Location still. I would say no matter where you are in Medellin be diligent. Be vigilant. Don’t have your phone out. Have an idea where you are going. Juan’s place is close to man places and also not far from the metro line. Take the metro blue to Estrella to get to poblano. The studio has two bathrooms which was litty!!! And it’s stylish and quant. I wish I could have stayed longer. The large window brings in so much lights The only issue is I wish that it was less nosy. Like if the building were built in such a way to reduce the noise. Medellín is loud. Lots of noise pollution. Traffic during the day is loud. You can hear the cars and trucks pressing their horns. Overall I would stay here again.

I stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed the stay. The space is essentially a large hotel room. with cooking and a large fridge freezer. Bed is large and extremely comfortbale. There are no washing facilties in the room, if that affects longer stays. Just behind a loverly bistro which is open for Breakfast and lunch. good food and value. I would stay again when in Medellin for stort stays.

Santiago is always responsive and helpful when I have issues. I have used his other property in the same building and both spaces are clean. You are in a quiet neighborhood, and you are away from traffic. Great space to work remotely from. It has basic kitchen necessities for cooking, washer & dryer unit, large refrigerator, and a small desk to work in. You are in walking distance to local restaurants and cafes. Supermarket and Bancolombia are nearby. Only a 20 minute walk to the first and second parks of Laureles. Internet could be faster as I still had trouble with video meetings even though I had a wired connection. The only big con was paying for the A/C unit. Heat rises up since you are at the top floor, and can get hot during the warmer seasons. Not much air flow from the windows, but there is also a big fan to use.

This was our 2nd stay here and we still love it. Great location close to many restaurants, bars, and transportation. Gets a lil noisy on weekend nights so plan excursions accordingly. Definitely recommend!

My stay at this apartment was wonderful. I got used to being there very quickly. Mr. Luis' treatment was wonderful. The concierge staff is very friendly and helpful. I will really miss my stay in Medellin and the park that is in front of the building. (I went every morning to exercise) I 100% recommend Mr. Luis as a host, I will always be grateful for his attention and kindness. If you go to Medellin, it's the best place to stay.

Great place and location. Very responsive host and amazing view of Medellín. The area is very beautiful and even the staff of the building were extremely helpful and friendly. Another hidden gem was the store on the 4th floor that has everything from food and snacks and supplies. Even eggs for breakfast! Always greeted with a smile. Would recommend this host and experience for everyone!

I stayed at Maria's place for a month. It is a very nice place surrounded by many trees, located in a quiet area if you don't want a lot of noise around, it also has blackout curtains. Maria is very attentive, and when I wrote to her she responded quickly. The only area of improvement I would propose is to at least put in a microwave, a more equipped kitchen for long stays and a hair dryer. Everything else was perfect!
