“Fidels Stube” in West Allgäu

Our house is nestled in fields, which the dandelion turns yellow in the spring and knows the snow in winter. In summer, the smell of mowed meadows blows through the air and when it comes to autumn, the fruit trees and the garden carry fruit directly in front of the apartment. Here in the Allgäu you can really be close to nature. Excursion destinations for hiking and cycling are easily accessible from here, but also the apartment, garden and the nearby forest invite you to relax in peace.

Sägemühle Eschachthal apartment, Kreuzbach

The house was originally an oil mill, later a sawmill, before drowning in the last decades. In 2018, the core renovation and conversion into a residential building took place. Fortunately, the character of the old saw could be preserved, in particular, by the refurbished visible beams. The house is located at 900m altitude, the climate is therefore somewhat rougher, in the summer yet very sunny. The location on the Eschach, which invites you to swim in the summer, is special.

We rent our beautiful “Waldhäuschen” to nature lovers and family communities. On the idyllic, large plot with forest panorama you can enjoy nature. The hiking trails start right outside the front door. The stream is only a few meters away. Therefore, a romantic, relaxing murmur and ripple can be heard in the garden. The sauna invites you to relax, but there is also something for the little ones… including a climbing frame with slide & swing & trampoline ;)
