Heber is a communicative and friendly host. You can be rest assured that if you are unfamiliar with the area, you are in a safe place. Comfortable home.

The host was extremely responsive. The view out front was amazing. The sounds of the waves make this place peaceful. The parking was easy, probably the best experience I’ve had out of all three times I’ve been to the island. This place is 8 minutes away from one of the best beaches on the island (that isn’t mentioned in any of the articles about the top ten beaches - which makes it even better because it isn’t crowded with tourists. A short drive to Wal-Mart. Other reviews do mention the hot tub taking awhile to get hot; this is accurate, but knowing this information beforehand allows for you to plan accordingly. They offered some chairs to take to the beach which was extremely nice. We even left one with a couple chair umbrellas for the next guest. The beds are comfortable although a bit squeaky. The couch was extra comfortable. Overall I really enjoyed the locations and the cleanliness of the place. I wish there was a few more amenities in the kitchen but they had what you need.

Cesar's place was very clean and comfortable and was exactly like the pictures. The restaurants nearby had very kind service and good prices. I wouldn't recommend walking far out of the town center late at night. But inside the town center, the area near the Airbnb is very safe even at night! There is a very nice walking trail along the water 2 minutes walking from the place. One thing we didn't like was the smell of the fridge it was really bad. Other than that we loved the place and access to free parking was very convenient. Would highly recommend staying here and visiting Charco Azul and Ojo de agua natural spring both day trips in Vega Baja (~30 minutes driving).

Safe neighborhood with close vicinity to restaurants, a supermarket and many beautiful beaches. Would highly recommend this place if you’re traveling to Arecibo

Excellent host, great price, everything was clean, and it included everything you might need. The bedding was fresh and smelled amazing (this is one of the most important things for me). The rooms are nice and dark, perfect for a good night’s sleep. The neighbors have roosters that crow loudly early in the morning, but if you’re not used to the noise, disposable earplugs are provided to help you rest. The house is very comfortable, and I would definitely rent it again.

This house in Arecibo is truly a gem! The location is unbeatable right in front of the water, with breathtaking views and where you can hear the relaxing waves and enjoy the ocean breeze all day. The tall windows let in so much natural light throughout the day, making the space feel warm and inviting. It’s also close to historic sites and beautiful nearby beaches, which made exploring the area so easy and enjoyable. The check-in and checkout process was incredibly simple, which made our stay even more stress-free. What really stood out, though, was the Maria's kindness and attentiveness. She checked in with us throughout our stay to see if we needed anything and was always super friendly and helpful with any questions we had. Her hospitality made us feel so welcome and taken care of. If you’re looking for a beautiful and relaxing getaway with an exceptional host, this is the perfect place. We can’t wait to come back!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Salty Villa! Our group consisted of my two young boys, my husband, my mom and me - all of which had an incredible stay. The house is gorgeous, the pool is excellent (nice for kids with some more shallow sections) and the beach is in your backyard! We so appreciated the floaties, cooler and beach stuff provided - made it super easy to get right into the fun! The area is wonderful, we loved exploring the local restaurants (simple for breakfast!) and beaches recommended by our hosts. If traveling with younger kids I would highly recommend: 1/Playa Caracoles for calmer water and 2/note the bunkbeds are on the first floor vs master bedroom upstairs so pack monitors or plan accordingly:) This home is amazing and our family cannot wait to return!

The place was just as listed; very clean; plenty of towels; clean inside and outside; BBQ grill was clean and in working conditions although we did not use it; jacuzzi was available; hoses and shower head available when coming from the beach; the view is priceless; wifi and Netflix were available and working; hot water was available even during the island power outage; a flashlight or other source of alternate light should be provided for emergencies; all kitchen appliances and A/C units for the rooms worked perfectly; the description of the box for the keys need to be clarified; amazing views from the balcony and the back of the house where there are benches for the family; must bring OFF; the beach is clean and spectacular for walks, any sand sports like paddle ball or volleyball, and sunbathing, but not swimmable, especially during this time of the year.

The space was perfect for what my family and I needed . Beautiful space and backyard . Short walk to the beach , and short drive to many food options . Located on a busy road , but didn’t bother us as we wanted to be immersed in the culture. Many beautiful things to see in the area .

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb, just a few minutes’ walk from a beautiful beach spot in Arecibo. The house was impeccably clean and fully equipped with everything needed to prepare a great coffee in the morning and relax in the hammock. The neighborhood is quiet, peaceful, and safe, making it the perfect getaway. Grisel and Jose were fantastic hosts—always responsive and attentive, ensuring we had the best experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home, thanks to their thoughtful touches, amenities, and the overall cleanliness of the space. The location is ideal for exploring nearby natural attractions like Poza del Obispo and Caracoles Beach. Plus, there are plenty of great dining options within walking distance. If you’re not planning to cook, I highly recommend trying Simple Café and Salitre Mesón Costero, both just minutes away. We’re already planning to return! Myrna's home was our home away from home. The unit was spacious, well-appointed and the kitchen was fully equipped for a holiday dinner. Listening to the endless sound of the ocean, having candlelit dinners on the balcony, and walking directly on the beach from the unit made our stay memorable. And the town of Isabela was a pure delight with colorful holiday decorations, concerts, local vendors selling cultural wares and jewelry, and even salsa dancing. I would highly recommend Myrna's home and we hope to be back again.

The house was easy to find and offered a fantastic view from the balcony, which was perfect for watching the New Year’s Eve fireworks. The air conditioning worked perfectly, ensuring a comfortable stay. While I didn’t prepare meals, the kitchen was adequately stocked with utensils and worked well for making coffee in the morning and heating up food. The location was also close to the sea, and we could hear the soothing sound of the waves, which made the experience even more relaxing. The area was peaceful, and the sound of the church bells ringing every hour added a charming touch. Overall, a wonderful stay!

Great location with walking distance beach and options as to how to enjoy this property: pool, beach, grill, or snooze from a porch and balcony at the breeze and sound of beach life.

A great location to quickly get to the beach! The unit looked exactly like the photos and had everything we needed for a long weekend.

We loved our stay! And hope to be back in the future. The Apartment is tucked away perfectly and we loved the quick access to the beautiful beach! We had a longer stay and Amarilys checked in with us about half way through to see if we needed anymore house supplies. Check in and check out was easy. The place was clean and comfortable!
