Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Isle of Wight County

I visited Newport News, VA to celebrate my birthday with my son. I have to be honest, the pictures does no justice for this place, lol. Lee's home is absolutely beautiful and is located in a nice neighborhood. My family and I felt right at home. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable and clean, the house rules were reasonable, and Lee was a very gracious host. All of our questions or inquiries were answered in a timely manner. The location was great, and within minutes from a number of restaurants and other things to do. I will definitely plan to book with Lee again the next time I visit my son in Newport News. I also highly recommend that you book with Lee. The home is well worth the price!

James and Gigi were great. From check in to check out, they communicated what was needed without being intrusive. The property was just as expected and was fantastic. I can’t begin to state how helpful they were when I had a minor issue. Immediately responsive, with great resolutions and great concern for my comfort and safety. A++++

I love the backyard. It was fenced in and I felt safe to let my kids play outside.

We have stayed here before and everything was great, Again! Would definitely stay here next time we need a space for us and our grown children and their pets.

Our grandson was graduating from Boot camp at Fort Eustis so we wanted something that was still fun and peaceful. That's what we got. We found everything we needed to cook breakfasts and dinners. And really enjoyed our evenings in the game room. If we ever find the need to be in the area again we would definitely rent this Airbnb. Very accommodating.

This place was absolutely perfect! It offered so much space and truly exceeded our expectations. We hosted Christmas dinner here, and the property had everything we needed to entertain effortlessly. The home was exceptionally clean, and the host was incredibly responsive throughout our stay. We would 100% recommend this place and would love to stay again if we return to Virginia.

The entrance is in the mid-exterior of the car wash where the clients clean their cars. After you park, you have to walk with all of your luggage through the car wash's exterior (amidst client cleaning their cars) and go up many stairs. But when you enter the loft, you are extremely surprised by the beautiful, modern and clean space. Chandler was available every time I needed clarity on instructions. Bring your own food and beverages. There is a pool nearby which is available. Even though there are minimal eateries in the immediate community, there are places within short distance (mall, movies, restaurants) and there is always Virginia Beach.

My extended family takes a vacation together every year. We’re normally at the beach, but needed a place close to Smithfield because a niece recently gave birth and wouldn’t be traveling. Well, we couldn’t have found a better place! Dante’s home provided everything we needed … clean, comfortable furnishings, well-equipped kitchen, lots of room for the kids to run around and play, and my favorite … the swimming pool!!! The weather was perfect for lounging around and in the pool. We will definitely be back next summer!

Very clean place. I stayed for a month.felt very much at home!! I give it a 5 star rating. If you book here you will not be disappointed so worth the money.

Loved our stay here! It is quiet and our dog loved the fenced yard to run around in. It is a great location- easy to take the free ferry across the river or to hike the state park nearby. The home was cozy and clean, perfect for a long weekend away.

Wynn's place was the perfect spot to spend the night in the area. The backyard garden is impressive, even in January! I can't imagine how beautiful it must be when it's in full swing. It was a perfect spot for me, in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Would gladly come back the next time I come down for an event.

Absolutely LOVED Cindy's place! It was exactly what I needed, where I needed it: close to CNU. I really liked the decor and the amenities were perfect! Cindy is a fantastic and very responsive host! Had a small hiccup with the refrigerator but Cindy promptly called and talked me through fixing it. Everything was fine after that. She checked in a few times to make sure everything was going smoothly and that I had everything I needed. That was greatly appreciated! Hope to head back there in the near future!

I absolutely recommend Steff's studio, it is charming! So many attractive decor touches and super well equipped, including a variety of chargers, cooking materials, extra towels, lots more. And Steff is the most responsive host we have ever experienced, have used Airbnb for years. Above and beyond describes both the apartment and her attention. We happened to arrive right after a crazy snow storm and unexpectedly the whole town was pretty much shut down our first night. Even grocery stores were closed. Thanks to frozen pizzas left for us we had a warm dinner that first night. Top of the line Airbnb experience.

Absolutely amazing stay, this was the perfect place for our young family. Our toddler loved the playroom and our dog couldn’t get enough of the huge backyard. The house is large and very comfortable, it is well equipped with everything my wife and I could want or need. Sabrina is a fantastic host, and made us feel right at home for our nearly month long stay. She was very responsive whenever we had questions and extremely considerate, checking in on us several times to make sure we had everything and were enjoying our stay.

Davina was very attentive and was always checking in to make sure things were going well. She quickly responded to messages and was very helpful.

Clean, roomy, location with a big comfortable bed. Convenient location (marred slightly by construction on the main road). Washer/dryer including laundry soap was a bonus. Everything seemed new as if recently renovated. A malfunctioning water heater on the first night was fixed by the next afternoon - the maintenance personnel showed up very shortly after Chandler called him the next morning, and then made himself available for followup service as needed. Responses to texting or through the app were somewhat delayed, but once the water heater was fixed everything went smoothly. Another bonus was the location of a couple nice restaurants in the center next door within easy walking distance - especially nice not having to get out at night when the primary construction was happening. Very nice place - would stay there again.

This is a quaint home in a nice neighborhood. They kitchen had great appliances, and the home was nicely decorated as a family home. The back yard could have used some attention as it was full of leaves and not able to take our dog outside the fenced area due to the debris. The beds had older mattresses, but the bathrooms were nice. Overall, a great home and I would recommend this to someone needing a dog friendly home.
